When you absolutely, positively need more power, the Messenger Ti Pearl delivers. A new pearlized version of the popular Messenger Ti, this Messenger features an aggressive Super-Flex cover for exceptional hooking. It creates a strong midlane arc for control with plenty left on the backend for a better entry angle into the pocket. So now you can have beauty and power in one package. Because with the new Messenger Ti Pearl, every throw is a first-class delivery.

I bought this ball to replace my Columbia Super Beast. It has about the same hook potential, and goes a little longer before making the turn. Both balls are drilled the same. Pin at 130 with cog up and right a little. In my opinion the Super Beast was a much more consistant ball though. The Messenger has a buig problem with oil down the lane, and does not like to turn the corner unless it has some dry boards to work with. It is a great ball in a medium house that has fresh back ends. But after about a game the carry down is gonna kill ya. It is a pretty good ball, but only on the right shot.

This is the best ball i have ever thrown. when u need bite this is it. this ball snaps in like no other ball. u can play nice and tight and smash the pocket or you can swing it out to about 3 or 4 and have it come flying back. VERY SOLID BALL. A MUST HAVE. Since i have gotten this ball, my average has gone up over 5 pins. i have been averaging over 180 with this ball since i have gotten it. my pin postition is right south of my ring finger and the ball just hooks like no other. i can pick a 7 pin by standing at 15 and throwing it over 5. Beautiful ball but u have to know when to put it away<sc

No"B"Ball
Drilled the ball pin at 2:30 from my ring finger and CG under my palm for length and strong back end. Typical shot is a 12-12 Wet/Dry buffed to 46' -medium to medium heavy in the middle. The line is typically 28-8 and once I find it I barely have to move the rest of the night. I went back down to 15lbs with this ball and have no regrets. My arm can tell the difference but the pins don't. This ball hits harder than all of my 16lb equipment. I love it and for the price compared to the performance it is the best ball out there.

i rolled my first 300 with the ti messanger pearl - this is a great ball when the backends are hooking- this ball glides through the heads, an hits like a truck as look as the ball has some finish. i drilled mine up with the pin inbetween my fingers givin it a good length an a 10:30 pin. this was a great compliment to my ricochet when i rolled columbia over the summer. u need backends-- but this ball struggles when there is oil in the backends. i liked this alot better than the original ti messanger carry is much better with this

Even though i have only been bowling for a year and i really havent owned that many bowling balls i think i have found the best ball on the market for the money. super strong back end when the lanes are fresh. clean through the heads when the shot starts to break down. if you know how to adjust your lines you can use this ball on any shot in any house. you dont need to make this ball work it does it all on its own. if you have a good shop guy to drill your equipment all you need to do is roll the ball. Bottom line is this is best, most versitle ball you can find for the money.

This was my first ball I learned to throw hook with. I shot my first 200 (228) with this ball, and my average improved nearly 30 pins from mid season to end season giving me the most improved bowler award last season. This ball has improved my game so much. I'm not good with drilling terms, but it's drilled right over the label. Mine is 14#s and the pin is a little right of the ring finger; no weighthole either. This drilling gave me very forgiving performance on the lanes. It also gave me great backend snap for an awesome angle of entry. I can carry on any hit with this ball--light, high-- it doesn't matter. There is only two things I don't like. 1 is that you must put this ball away with desert dry lanes, tons of carrydown, or screaming backends. 2 is probably my fault for not adjusting, but I left a few ten pins every game when I played my "A Game"(Read my profile). This is one of those few balls that you MUST have in your bag.Overall this is a tremendous ball and you can't

This ball is pretty well understood at this point, so a new review is probably superfluous. Here goes anyway. My Ti Messenger Pearl is 16#, laid out 4 x 4, pin to the right of the ring, CG out slightly, big weight hole on the PAP. I think 4 x 4 is optimal for this ball. For the middle range of conditions - light oil to medium oil - the TiMP is hard to beat. First, it has a strong backend reaction. "Flare" is too weak a word to describe the backend; "leap" is closer to the truth. Second, it has a great hit. The core in the TiMP is ferocious. Unquestionably, it is the hardest hitting ball I have ever owned. Third, it carries well, even from deep inside. Throw it for a little while, and you'll see why they named it "Messenger". In the 2 months I've thrown it, I can't recall a light hit that didn't carry. It spoils you because you come to expect the rattling wall shot and the big swish even from deep inside. The downside is that I tend to leave some surprising 4s and 9s

I have this ball stacked under my ring finger. I have found this is a great second shift ball to have in your bag, but put it way if the heads are fried or there is a lot of carrydown. I have had this ball for a couple weeks now, as I have drilled up some new stuff while going back to no inserts. This ball gets own the lane well and makes a big turn on the back (no the biggest flipper on the market, but it does make a dramatic move). On fried heads this is just too much ball, and you will get too much over/under when you start to encounter carrydown. But, on a second shift league this ball is a monster. So far in 4 second shift leagues I have avg. over 230 with this ball. Additionally, with 10 games of practice after league bowling I have a low game of 228 with a high of 278. I have also shot 790 and 716 with this thing on a fresher shot. I believe mid-priced equipment is becoming the cornerstone of the industry, and this is a top performer. You just need to know when to put this one

When i got this ball, i was expecting it to be almost exactly like the Ti Messenger, but it wasn't; it was better! Who knew that a pearl ball could out hook its solid predecessor? Drilled with the pin directly southeast of my ring finger, the cg 1 inch to right of the center of my grip, and no hole, this ball gives me great length and hitting power. I used it since March 2001 with about 200 games on it, it has lost little, if any, hitting power. Overall, this ball gives great performance for a great price!

This ball is a solid stuck in a pearl shell, with plenty of backend reaction. This ball hits very hard and the carry I get is phenominal. This ball is very forgiving, but be warned this ball still is a pearl, so it has some of the same characteristics and it will hang if you are not careful. The Ti Messenger is a very good complement to any arsenal, you can pull this ball out of your bag with the confidence that you are not sacraficing any power. But overall this ball is a very good buy and is very resonablly priced.

Well, the Ti Messenger was a huge success, and the Ti Messenger Pearl was knocking on it's door. We have drilled about 200 of these ball. Everyone in our later shift leagues seems to have one of these. The Ti Messenger Pearl is able to dry the fronts without a problem, especially on the second shift. Then gives you a strong punch to the pocket when it hits the breakpoint. Great bang for the buck. I gave this ball a 10, because no matter what your game, this ball should fit into your bag without a problem. We have drilled it for players with 20 revs and players with 10. Players that go up the boards, and players that go around the world, and they all love this ball. If you have any questions, please email me at Bill@buddiesproshop.com Thanks Bill
