Introducing the PULSE TM featuring the exclusive POWER POINT PIN TM design. Our on site C.A.D. (Computer Aided Design) team has united the optimum high performance ball characteristics in one ball to create the strong, even rolling arc necessary to minimize common over/under reactions. The PULSE is composed of a pressurized polymer core with a Ceramicore® satellite, encased in our proven Super-Flex Resin TM , the hottest coverstock around. And for now, for the first time, the new POWER POINT PIN technology concentrates more weight toward the top of the core, enhancing hitting power. Columbia is listening to the pulse of today's bowlers. The Crimson Red PULSE, you can't survive without one.

My 2nd Columbia 300 ball, got it back in 2013 when I first started bowling in High School, I threw this over my Crazy Antics and my Ebonite Shockwave. No matter what this ball gave my bowling life... I still throw it to this day in 2020 and I'll bowl with it till it cracks. If You Don't Have One.... You're Dead

I have 3 of the original red pulse, but the best by far is the first one i got. Was used and 2 years old. Plain label drilling. Had a mote angular than arcing break mid lane. Despite 4 or 5 circular cracks around the thumb hole ball hasnt broken or chipped and is a strong as ever

Like i already said this ball works great on wood with a decent amount of oil up front but when i've tried it out on sythetic lanes it just doesn't seem to keep a consistent look. Maybe the drilling is super sensitive to carrydown, which isn't such a problem on that thirsty wood. And like any ball out there it won't last forever... having to throw through all that head oil has really killed a great ball over the years... even resurfacing doesn't have the same effect anymore. I'd still love to find a ball that takes operator error out of the equation... LOL

This was my favorite ball of all time. Now I am starting to put my Wicked as a possible new favorite, but this ball served me well. I have had Three Pulses and I will Describe all of them. First, In the early 90's I got my first Pulse and drilled it with an absolute crazy drilling as an experiment (3 3/8 x 2 3/8) with the pin in the center of my grip 2'' below my finger holes. Needless to say, the ball didn't roll all that well and was very erratic but because of my wack drilling. I gave it another shot with my second Pulse with another crazy drilling ( At the time I had a lot of money and I was always trying to find the magic drilling) this one was 1/2 x 0 with a big hole to take out the side weight and make it legal. Believe it or not, but I loved this drilling and still use it today. It gets the ball to roll very early and read the lane well. At the breakpoint, It changes direction and rolls into the pocket. It is an awesome ball for conditions where the backends are bone dry. Th

Nice solid shape. Mine is pollished up and has a beautiful reaction on the lanes. It even hits as hard if not harder than my Shock Trauma, which I thought was impossible. It was to be my mid range ball for when the lanes start to go, but it has as much hook as my Shock and thats drilled to the max. It is still very new so Ive found no problems as of yet but Im not expecting any. It must be absolutely perfect for my game because its so controlable.Im now in a bit of a state as I dont know which is the best ball to call a go to ball.Oh decisions, decisions......

I now have a 300 and 800 (857) with this ball. This ball is simply better than any ball ever made. It hooks tremendously. Superior hitting power. Most of the newer balls throw the pins higher, but what good do they do when they are over top of the other pins. They give you a lot of bad breaks by jumping over pins that they should be carrying. This ball keeps the pins lower and you get a much truer carry. If there is any oil up front there is no other ball in the world you should be using other than this one.

I've got the pin at leverage with hole and cg on pap on this ball that just keeps getting the job done! Until this year it had been 'out of the bag' for a while but now it's back to stay. The low flare core lets you use strong drillings without the ball running out of gas on the backend. The arcing move this ball makes is so easy to read that if you leave a 4 or a 10 it's easy to make the adjustments you need to get those corners out. I also had a 4 1/2x4 1/2 stack drilling on it for a while and this drilling gives you some major backend. The leverage/axis drill is far more controllable and gives you all the hook you want without potentially over/under flip. The one problem i have with it is leaving 10 pins while playing an outside line but on Australian conditions it's not a shot i have to try and play too often. From inside 3rd and 4th arrow it can not be stopped.
