Columbia 300 Drive Bowling Ball

Step on the accelerator and take it out for thrills! Drive is the latest and the greatest from Columbia 300. This pearl of a ball pairs an asymmetric core with Columbia 300's proven winner: Accelerator coverstock. This formulation of resin was created to produce a higher friction in oil, resulting in a stronger move on the lane. The addition of pearl puts more pop in the backend, giving you the maximum amount of Drive through the pins. This fierce competitor rips off the breakpoint, leaving no pins in its wake. For medium-to-dry conditions, your best choice is Drive. Rev it up and speed on to victory!

What attracted me to this ball was the accelerator coverstock which is what my Full Throttle is, however comparing the two balls I would much prefer to throw my full throttle over this ball anyday due to the throttles excellent midlane read. I haven't really found a good use for this ball yet except sitting in the bag. I imagine this ball might be useful when the heads are drier with carrydown. It is a decent ball to pick up in the middle of league session and have a fairly good idea of where to throw it but I've encountered numerous corner pins and really hasn't lived up to it's name "Drive" for me. I really like Columbia products but if I would look arouind for something else.
