I got this ball from a friend of mine and he drilled it himself and he didn't do great job of it but it worked well enough to use. I enjoyed using this ball when the shot was still fresh and nothing had carried down the lane oil. It hooked well enough not explosive or anything and it always seemed a little flat when it hit the pins never really blow them apart. I only had the ball about 8-10 months and it died at the end of it's time with me. My memory is a little fuzzy because this was 3-4 years ago when I had this ball.

this ball like I said you would throw it and hit the mark and it would either slow up or it would hit very lightly. I even had it blow so many holes out of the pocket and leave me with big old splits. It also leaves a lot of pins because of the way it hits the pocket. If you were shooting for a low game this would be a good ball for you. I've had this ball for about 6 months and the highest I have shoot with it was maybe a 160. It just doesn't work on are lanes were I ball at or any of the alleys around here. I've even let a kid use it that was shooting with an average of 211 and the highest he could get is a 176. So that tells me something about this ball it just right down sucks and wish they would of never made it.

overall this is a great ball! ive had mine for a little over a year and i must say that it is a very dependable ball. At first i could easily throw out to cover 20 boards and then get beautiful backend reaction. this was only my 3rd ball and i must say that i was nothing short of pleased with my purchase. This ball is great for traveling to different lanes, because of its versatility. I use it also in my traveling league, and have been as consistent as having 2 pins difference on my first 2 weeks. The only thing i could say they did wrong is stop selling the ball.

Overall this is a good ball. For the experienced bowler on top of his game, this can be a great ball. Unfortunately, too many of us aren't experienced enough or good enough to throw this ball on any lane conditions. This is a great strike getter, but when the oil moves your game may move south with it. With all of that said, this is still a very consistent ball down the lane and will definitely get you the oohs and ahs of your teammates and competition when hitting the pocket! For any experienced bowler looking to add a little pin action, this ball is for you.

This is a good ball on serveral different lane condition, and that eliminates allot of the ball caring that goes on. This ball is able to read the lane even if the person using it can't.. Hitting power is not as strong as it could be, but it can kick down some pins.. This ball is able to carry down the lane when polished, and still want lose any power. The backend can be nasty, but for me I need alittle more.. When using a dry lanes it does take allot of energy to make this ball carry, so you will have to pump some iron.. UPDATE - ALITTLE DISAPPOINTED THAT COLUMBIA HAS MADE ANOTHER BALL SIMILIAR TO THIS ONE.. THIS IS A GREAT BALL..

Drilled 4 1/2" x 5" (cg in palm). Well if you have the oil to warrant using this ball you wont find another ball to touch it. It slids surprisingly well for a particle ball, but will also develop a strong roll due to the core, meaning a huge reaction on the backend : ) This means that the carry is particularly good...it hits like a truck. On the downside, you do need oil to use it, which really dissapoints me because i enjoy rolling this ball more than any other ball i have, and i dont get much chance to use it. Also you must have the sense to know when to move because if you play this ball on medium oil conditions it will dry out a line very quickly forcing you to look for fresh oil. Overall...great length for a particle when polished giving a strong snap, or dull it for a hardhitting ball when the oiling machine has sprung a leak. Fairly versatile ball which is a joy to throw when the conditions are slick. Highly recommended.

Drilled 41/2x33/8......hole on PAP Wow....this ball is awesome!! Will come back from absolutley anywhere, with a big booming backend. Heavy oil?? No problem, it'll cut through. If only the cover would last....that's why it doesn't get a 10... But I must say, even when they die, they don't lose their hitting power, just the ability to cover boards, and in some instances, makes them more consistant. Dry heads are the only problem....They roll way too early, maybe because the amount of flare the core produces......It would get back to the weight hole on mine. But new, you won't find anything better
