Since I have just about every layout drilled with medium strong symmetric balls, I decided to go with a 2" pin to pap just to experiment. This layout really controls the midlane without getting too much change of direction on the flatter and overly wet/dry house shots. It is a nice piece to have that can play in "trick" parts of the lane when they are difficult. This layout on the Danger Zone does not over react or get squirrelly when you are trying to control the lane. The surface is very responsive to sanding. I have used it from 1000 siaair to lightly polished, depending on what volume or how much response i am looking for. The Danger Zone is a true benchmark ball and a must have.

Brunswick Danger Zone I waited to drill a Danger Zone until I got to see them in person. Well, after selling out of them, more than once, and getting beat down in brackets by everyone using it... I decided to drill one up. I drilled mine 40/5/35 to leave me enough side weight to tweak the layout with a balance hole (didn't need to). Hats off to Brunswick on this Vintage line release. They nailed this one! Clean through the fronts with ample midlane and continuous down lane motion. This ball is a house shot killer. I've been able to play multiple angles on the different house patterns I see. It's always the first ball out of my bag and, on most nights, the only ball that comes out to play. If you had one 20 years ago, you need to drill one of these, it's that good. If you were too young, or just didn't have one in your bag 20 years ago... GET ONE! Seriously, you don't want to miss this one.

Danger Zone is back and its a force to be reckoned with medium - light oil. Out the box I shot 299 in league playing 13-7. I gave me stupid room on the house shot. On a sport shot its great benchmark ball. It lets you keep your angles closes and allows you to stay in the track area longer. High rev players will like the length this ball gives while still having that smooth arc motion off the end of the pattern. Low rev players will love it cause it lets them stay in there comfort zone for another game or 2. <iframe width="560" height="315" src=" https://www.youtube.com/embed/-E8W9AdXiZA" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

PAP: 4" over, 3/4 up Ball Speed: Medium/Hard Rev Rate: 475 Hand: Left First off let me say that this ball defiantly brings back memories of the original DZ not only in look but in the way it rolls as well. My first Vintage DZ I drilled pin down hole down with box surface. The reaction I got was very similar to the original DZ just adapted to today game and oils. You could see ball pick up into a heavier roll but still be very clean through the fronts due to the compsite cover which created such an amazing benchmark type reaction that can be used on a variety of different patterns. This ball will very quickly become the first ball out of your bag with how versital this this core/cover combination is. On a local house shot I was able to play the friction and be firm with my speed or slow it down and play more of the puddle without any issues at all. If you haven't picked up a Vintage DZ as of yet grab one ASAP because you will fall in love with the look, feel, and reaction. RJ Broege Brunswick Regional/Amateur Staff player

Brunswick did it right with this one! I drilled my first Vintage Danger Zone pin up and it has already easily become my benchmark ball. On our local house shot I can play in the track with everyone and it allows some miss area. If it gets in the friction early it will start to roll, but not over react. If it's tugged in the oil, it will skid. I am able to move into the friction with a weaker hand position and the predictability of the ball makes it easy to stay ahead of the transition while avoiding the traffic of the other bowlers.
