Brunswick Ultimate Inferno Bowling Ball

Reaction Characteristics The Ultimate Inferno is a heavy oil ball designed for bowlers who prefer Reactive over Particle coverstocks. The Ultimate Inferno uses the same core as the original Inferno but combines it with a solid 800-grit dull version of Activator coverstock. Compared to the original Inferno: -The Ultimate Inferno will match-up better to oily lane conditions, longer patterns and heavy carry down. -The Ultimate Inferno will match-up better for bowlers who struggle with excessively long ball reaction. -The Ultimate Inferno will match-up better on heavily oiled - over/under lane conditions. Brunswick’s new Activator Coverstock has quickly established a reputation for excellence in ball reaction, durability and longevity of ball reaction. On the lanes, Activator Coverstock is clean through the heads with excellent mid-lane recovery and a strong arcing back-end reaction that creates powerful pin action.

I would buy this ball in a minute again. It is the best ball that I ever have thrown if you want a ball that you want to hook early then you should get the ultimate inferno it is avery good ball it is one of the best balls that brunswick has ever made. that is just my opinion. I almost shot a three hounderd about three weeks ago and i think if i keep throwing this ball that I will eventually throw one because it is that good of a ball. I even have talked my cousined in buying one and he likes it .

Wonderful turn and hard hitting! GREAT! I drilled this ball with 4 1/2 inches from my PAP and set the Mass Bias in my PAL. From the beginning the ball roll very strong, so when it comes out of oil it turns very hard but predicteble. It's perfect for lots of oil but when the lane get's dry you should put it back in the bag! But this positive things mean nothing because the ball was nearly dead after round 100 games. It loss about 60% of his hook! I resurfaced the ball but there was still no hope more for the Ultimate! I'm very disappointed about the ball. If they can produce the same ball but with long-living attributes it would be the perfect heavy-oil ball!

The Ultimate Inferno... What can I say... Drilled it 3 times.... Always trying to get some of the hook everyone talks about... This ball is a curse.. yeah you'll shoot some decent scores with it, but all in all it will just leave you ripping your hair out. Crankers beware.. the more you turn this ball.. the more speed you put on it... the less effective it becomes. With 20+ MPH speed and more lift then you can shake a stick at.... it hooked less then any other ball I have, with exception to my white dot (which consiquently carries 10 pins better)... I see that quite a few people get the reaction they are looking for.... I'm glad someone can use it... I gave it away...

I needed a ball for the PBA shot league with heavy oil, so i decided to give the UI a try. All i can say is wow. It outhooks anything i own, but its versatile enough that i can use it on a heavy house shot. I had it set up with the pin to the right of the ring finger, cg in the palm. The pin carry is almost perfect, the only problem ive had with it is that ive left a lot of pocket 7-10s. This was my 1st Brunswick ball since the zones and all i have to say is brunswick rules bowling once again.

The Ultimate Inferno is simply the best inferno ball to be released. The Ultimate hooks a lot more than the original and the blazing and is a bit stronger than the raging inferno. Since i own every inferno ball on the market i know the differences between all the balls. The Ultimate is just a great ball due to the fact that it has recovery in case you miss your mark. With the blazing or inferno, missing your mark will lead to devastating splits. Ive already thrown a 700 series in practice with it at howell. I have no complaints yet...but i know that this ball will be in my starting line up for varsity.

I've had this ball for about 6 months. When I first got it I loved the hitting power and backend movement. After a few months, I thought it was loosing a little, but I started cleaning it before each use and it's been great since. I shot 300 at the end of July, in a strange house playing a different line (straight up 10). This summer I averaged 222 lofting the ball across the third arrow out to 10 and it would come back strong, carrying everything except an occasional 10 pin. In our first week in the new winter league, I started with a 802 series. Keep the ball clean and give it some room and watch out !!!
