Brunswick Raging Red Fuze Bowling Ball

(23 reviews) Write a Review

The Raging Red Fuze features an Aggressive Reactive (AR) coverstock based on Brunswick’s classic PowrKoil18 reactive. This new AR material has been specially formulated to retain the characteristic aggressive reactive reaction to the dry outside boards and backends of typical league conditions, while at the same time providing increased mid-lane traction in the heavier oiled sections of the lane. The Raging Red Fuze also features a totally new Geometrically-Balanced, medium-low RG core, which has been designed to produce heavy mid-lane roll that leads to aggressive backend reaction. In combination with a split density outer core that provides perimeter top weight control, the total core system of the Raging Red Fuze provides exceptional mid-lane and backend strength. This state of the art fusion of Aggressive Reactive coverstock and high-tech core work together to create a ball that will provide superior reactions for a wide variety of bowlers on typical league conditions. this is an excellent ball, i have had it for quite some time and it has seemed to be pretty good, i have recently stopped using it as my primary ball, but it is still an excellent ball to have in my bag. this has definately been an excellent pick up and i would recommend this over any other of the brunsick fuze balls that have come out, i honestly wish that they still made these so that i could pick up a brand knew one of them Login and edit your account to enter the email verification code. Found this ball still in the box in the back of my local pro shop. Was looking for a ball that would go a little longer when the flooded lanes I bowl on started to dry out. Had it drilled up to go a little long to use primarily as a third game ball. The RRF skids nicely and holds its energy for a dive into the pocket. It isn't overly affected by carry down, surprising considering it will skid well past the break point on fresh oil. I'm not sure if it's superior drilling or a superior ball, but this ball just flows off my hand like no other. Smooth as silk with an explosion into the pocket. Very, very satisfied with the overall performance of this ball. It's the second best money maker in my arsenal.

I am happy with the performance of this ball.I noticed it can adapt to a variety of shots but best suits medium oil conditions.I have noticed a tendency to produce tricky over under situations.I have found that it is imperative as is any ball to keep the surface of the ball clean to reduce that from happening. This ball produces solid length and makes a clean and smooth transition to the pocket.Pin carry is moderate. You will see the corners a lot if not executed properly.Overall this is a good ball but does require some care and proper tools to get maximum performance.

i love this ball there is no regrets with ball i recamend this ball to anyone who is a fan of the reactive line from brunswick this is by far my favorite one and i have tried all of the reactive line from bruns wick this is a ball that should be recomended to all or most strong hand bowlers my ball is a 15.5 pound ball and when this bad boy hits the pocket every one in the alley is gonna here you and admire the way this ball will move now i am not sure how much this ball runs because i got it for free because my friend could not use this ball so that should tell you that this ball may not be for everyone but it sure as hell can take care of the majority of bowlers with a controlable hook

I just love this ball, it's my favorite so far... I've had it for about 2 years now and though I've bought 3 new balls since then, it's still my best ball... it started to die on me about 3 months ago, but then I just got it renovated instead... I was very excited to see the result, and what a result! It was like out of box again! Hooking and hitting like crazy, and never leaving the 7 pin! I couldn't believe the result! I had great control all the time, and the ball was like nailed in the pocked... 216, 196, 257, 219... I'm back in business again...

this ball will just skid on lots of oil and it will hook way too much without any oil.the fuze will leave a lot of ten pins very often.this is still the best skid and snap ball i have ever thrown.one thing bad about this ball is that you have to polish it every 20 games profecianally.by your driller .this ball needs ball speed otherwise you will bcome very inconsistant.just because this ball is polished still dosn't mean it wont die because the first 100 games i had on it were absolutely amazing.but just because i said all these bad things about this ball dosnt mean it truley isnt an exellent ball.thats why i gave it 9 pins.

This is a great ball that has tremendously improved my game, yet I don't think it is worth being called "high end." If you are buying it cheap online then go for it, but don't waste your money on this ball at pro shop prices. I throw it from the center of the lane out between the first and second arrow and it always comes back strong. Make sure there is some oil at the heads or it will roll out too soon and lose all its power. The best part is that it is a very consistent ball if you throw it the same way consistently, so there are no surprises once it leaves your hand. It does have the tendency to leave a lot of solid single pins or splits. Somehow I left 4 splits in a row once, and I changed my starting spot each time. The key is really getting it through the first half of the lane fast and smooth so that it has the energy it needs when it hits the pins, or else you will leave all kinds of junk. Thanks.

This ball (3" pin-out, 2.7 oz. top weight) was drilled 2 1/2" X 3 1/2" with an X-hole 1 3/4" below the positive axis point on the vertical axis line (i.e. a condition-sensitive drilling). The Raging Red with Aggressive Reactive is a throwback to the Zones of the late Nineties: a heavy-rolling, hard-hitting ball with superior carrying power. I won $75 in two games of jackpot bowling with games of 224 and 255 on a 41 foot Sport Shot with three prior games on it. A must-have winner in times of trouble!

This ball truly meets every expectation that I had about it. I normally play right around seventeen out to ten. So obviously, I do not crank the ball. but this ball makes such an aggresive turn to the pocket and it hits like the Incredible Hulk. I have even opened up the lane for myself with this ball. I can play tighter down the middle and tha ball is trong enough to turn to the pocket and smash. I have raised my average almost fifteen pins after purchasing this ball. I could not be more pleased with its performance. Hope you try it and love it

I start from 5 boards from the left, playing through the 1st and 2nd arrow, fast ball speed, medium revs, 60 degree tilt. Got this ball two months ago, had it drilled 2L (Brunswick layout for FUSE balls). That is long and strong, with a snappy backend. It was impressive when I first played with it, on medium oil conditions. Sliding through the heads, then a sharp turn into the pocket. After a month though, it did not seem to react as well when reaching the backends. On oiler conditions (but consider the way I bowl), it left quite a few 8 pins standing, after some nice skid-roll pocket hits. It's forgiving when going light on the head pin, not as forgiving when heavy. This ball will not hit well on dry conditions, and is almost impossible to control. When I first played with the ball, I remember it sliding thorugh the oil, and snapping real hard at the backend. Now (after or so 150 games, it does not snap that hard. In fact, the hook is weak and even through the backend.

this ball is the best ball i have thrown in a long time and i got it for free and i didn't ting it was going to be good but it is but you need dry to the outside for it to carry and this ball carrys the ten better than any other ball i got when i am not throwing this ball one of my friends is that take my ball and beat me with it i hate when they do but i recommed this ball for everyone this ball has alot of backend on every shot i have bowled on on matter how much oil

the ball stopped doing what it used to when I got it after about 4-5 months of use. But after sanding it 400 and using 800 polish, it does exactly what it used to when I first got it, cuz remember, if you take care of your equipment, it takes care of you! But the ball is very predictable, doesn't have over and under, has a great roll. Must keep speed up on this ball, but not too fast. Can leave a few 10 pins when the oil starts carrying down, but easily fixed. This ball works well when drilled to go long.

This ball is by far the best ball i've purchased, it's a very very smooth ball, i have it drilled Rev/Leverage so it will hook up early..and then just kinda die, straight into the pocket. I've played a 30 board swing shot with this ball, i've played down and in...you name the shot..it can handle it...it's also very good for the price...couple other people in the league that i bowl in, thorw the Fuze...and they love it!!, my next invetment is the Igniter...i'll be posting about that too....Good Luck! and Good Bowling!!

I absolutely love this ball! When I went to purchase it, I originally wanted a Storm Trauma, but went with the recomendation of the pro on hand. Best decision I've made yet. This ball has the control of my buddies Trauma, but breaks a little harder once it gets off the oil. In fact the snap it gets when it hits the backend is the key to the success of this ball, I get a great angle of entry. This ball is my work horse. I use it 90% of the games I shoot, and my average has jumped 30 pins from the riot zone I used to use. I only put it away on dry lanes.I would recommend to anyone out there!<scr

If you could only take one ball with you this ball would be a good choise. It is a good left handed ball. If you stay behind the ball this is the ball for you. If you turn the ball use speed to keep it from over hooking. Ball carries well. It does as it sayes it goes down long and hooks like a bansee. On slow lanes look out it can hook to early so keep it in the oil! Of the reactive resin balls i have used this has been the best so far! This ball should not disapoint you!

This ball is really great. I have a high rev rate, and it still is accurate and slides very far. The Aggressive Reactive coverstock makes it kick back like a rubber ball hitting a wall. When the lanes start to dry you can just throw it a little further to the right, and you have a perfect strike. Only dislikes are that it doesn't work that well on very dry lane conditions, and it doesen't forgive inaccurate shots. A great ball for medium to heavy oil - conditions. I would recommend this to players who have a high rev. rate and higher ball speeds, and to the players who have less ball speed and less rev. A ball for everyone then.

I drilled this ball with the pin over the ring finger and kicked the cg out. I heard the ball had alot of snap at the back end so i wanted to see how much violent reaction i could get out of it. The ball goes super long and snaps so hard it is hard to control sometimes. Because of the rediculous backend this ball has, i've never sent so many hard messengers in my life. If you need a oil ball with a lot of length then this is your ball. This ball also contradicts the hitting power of brunswicks balls because it hits like a mack truck!!!!!!!!!!

Drilled this ball up about 3 months ago. Drilled its with the pin just right and below the ring finger with cg in my CLG. Wanted it to go long and play a sharp break point and thats what it does. I stand about 25 throwing to ten swing about to about 5 and this ball blows the rack. Its a good ball when you want to play multiple break points and you have a hard time getting the ball thru the heads. This ball is great when I can't use my reaction roll and have won some pretty decent cash with it since I've had it. Also if you don't keep up with the coverstock this ball can get real squirty. Maitence is a must with this ball.

Topweight-unknown Weight-15 Pin-2-3 inchs Drilled-10:30 leverage, with weight hole in center of grip line, pin just above the ring finger and cg kicked out. Lane Condtion#1-Lanes had not been touched from the night before, all the oil is pushed in the middle and down in the pocket. Polished with Ebonite Factory Polish- (Lane Condtion #1) I started out by standing on the 10 board, toss the ball with a little loft (about a couple of feet), having the ball skid down the lane straight up the 7 board with no roll out, so i was like alright brunswick has changed, but i don't now about the aggrsive reactive part but it sure did have a nice smooth break at the break point and personaly i thought it hit fairly well at the pin deck. With that in mind i then went to my strong relase because i figuared if there wasn't very much reaction with a stright wrist the ball would be dead so i cranked up the wrist, stading at 30 board (reember the lane condtion had oilly backends) had rolled a

Ball is drilled with the pin right and below of the ring finger with CG in my center line of grip. Ball was drilled to go long and finish hard on the backend. Well thats not what it does. This ball produces a heavy midlane roll and snaps very hard on the backend. You will tend get a quite bit over and under with this ball. When you catch dry spots with this ball it grabs harder then any ball I've ever seen. I would recommend this ball for your typical house shot. Very Best of luck to all.<scrip

This ball is very versitile. Its not to long for the average bowler and dosen't over react in the dry. Brunswick always I mean always rolls earlier than other companys high end product but this one seems not to as much. You can get deep and fade this one or you staighter bowlers can dump and turn this one up the ditch and score just as well as anyone else. Brunswick if your listening make more like this one and forget about trying to make the ball hook we can do it ourselves. Capt. Trplx Son of Jor-el

Since switching from Storm to Brunswick I have had trouble opening the lane. Not any more! This ball is by far the snappiest B-ball ever. It fits nicely into Brunswicks line of balls. I drilled mine with the pin 5-3/4" from pap and CG at 45 degrees. I get around 4" of flare which is more than enough to make a big move on the back ends. The pearl cover skids nicely in oil and reads the dry very well. I use this ball when the track begins to dry out and the lane opens up. It is a little unpredictable on fresh lanes (sport conditions) but with a little room to the right it is extremely good. On carry down I have to square up but the ball still moves and hits hard. Keep on the good work Brunswick. After about two month the ball was dead. I treid to polish it but no luck getting it to turn the corner again.

Out of the box I went with a modified 2E layout for maximum flare and hook. THEY WEREN'T KIDDING! For all of you Brunswick fans out there that have had doubts about there equipment over the last few months, your relief is here. This Ball puts Brunswick back in a BIG way. Its consistant in its break point, its consistant in how it reacts to lanes, and it hits like a frieght train. Maybe its the player, but this ball is definetly for mid or heavier oil. It is a monster whether it has fresh back-ends or not. A real GO-TO Ball for any mid to heavy oil lane.
