Brunswick Fuze Eliminator Bowling Ball

Have you ever had your ball “Over Skid” in the center of the lane, then on your next shot, make a move to the outside and have your ball react like someone kicked it toward the middle. Conquer the puddle and eliminate those over/under reactions with the Fuze™ Eliminator™. The Fuze Eliminator features a Low-Load Proactive® coverstock combined with a Low RG, High Differential core to provide a unique ball reaction not currently available in the Brunswick line. While the core shape of the Eliminator is the same as that of the Fuze Igniter, the density profile within the core has been modified. By making the inner core heavier, the Overall RG has been lowered and the Differential RG raised compared to the Fuze Igniter. This produces a strong, heavy ball roll that allows the characteristics of the cover to show through. The coverstock on the Fuze Eliminator has been created by combining the Aggressive Reactive from the Raging Red Fuze with a Low-Load of Proactive particles. This produ

I had one of these stolen from me back in March of 03, and was lucky enough to replace it with the one my Pro Shop Guy used at one point. Ball Specs: 16Lbs 2"-3" Pin Lay Out: Leverage Pin Under Ring Finger CG kicked out Balance Whole in line with the CG This ball is pretty versitile on the right condition. I have only been able to use it on medium to medium-dry shots with success. When I use this ball in the oil it lacks in carry and hit. But that could be the lay out, or my own error. When this ball reaches the pocket it bombs the pins. I am able to play just about anywhere on the lane with the ball, as long as I maintain a consistent speed and release. If I miss to the right the ball holds on and still makes it to the 1-3, if I miss left and go brooklyn or high it holds its line once again until it reaches the pins and still carries, Either way you miss it still tries to roll up. I would recommend this ball for someone looking for a ball that has good carry, alot

I am pleased with the over all performance of this ball.I found it to be best at opening up tricky lane conditions and working great on a house condition. It will tend to be over under though and make it difficult to get a good read on the lane.Imperative to keep it clean.Tends to be very tricky to understand but if you have the neccasary tools you will find this ball very useful to you and it will work best on Med.Heavy Oil conditions. It must be kept clean and you must understand when to put it away or to take it out or you will be confused!<sc

Overall this is a great ball in my opinon i know at least two other guys that have one and they like it as well. I even have a buddy who has two of them with different drillings. RIght now this ball is the strongest in my aresenal. I havent had it long but just from throwing it a couple times, I like what I see. I am going to try this in a tournament shot if I can and see if I will have enogh oil to use it. I have used this ball on wood so far, I havent had a chance to use on synthetic but when I do I will let you guys know.

Went to the local Sunday morning tournament at a local house. Oil pattern was "A" for the shot on synthetic lanes and a fairly healthy dose of oil. I was standing out on 25 using the fifteen board as a target and swinging out to about the ten board. I'm more of a cranker than a stroker without the big backswing, but still use plenty of hand in the shot. As soon as the ball cleared the oil and read the lanes, it almost made a 180 into the pocket. Light hits, high hits, flush hits, it didn't matter. Grabbed the first eight and stuck a solid 8 in the ninth. Went 279 256 250, but didn't win as it was a handi capped tourney. But did take a healthy side pot of $120 for the first game. What was great? As the shot broke down when the oil started moving, the ball didn't do any thing "strange". It stayed on line reading the dry and wet part of the lane without going spaztic. Minor adjustements with speed or feet was all that was needed. I was the only one throwing this ball amid all the S

I'm gonna have to give this 10 pins. My first particle ball that I've purchased after a layoff of 7 years from bowling and got a great reaction from this ball. My pro was a little concerned due to my inverted track, but it posed no problem as he compensated for it with the use of a weight hole to keep it away from the track flare area. Played three different areas of the lane to see the reaction of the ball. Handled the flooded areas with no problem and made a strong arc into the pocket. Went through the wet/dry area of the lane and was able to read it very well and not over react when it hit the dry patch of the lane. Made a strong turn towards the pocket and carried all types of hits.<

THE FUZE ELIMINATOR, BOW!!. my eliminator is my favorite ball. it is my strongest ball which i use in oily lanes. i shot a 256 game with it even though i am only 12 years old. it always strikes even if i shot it in the wrong arrow. it can also spare a 10 pin. it is a very controlable ball. definitely one of the best balls brunswick has ever made. it hits the pins very hard. totally eliminates the pins thats why its called the eliminator. before, i used to roll a storm ball. but when i got my eliminator, i said to myself that brunswick balls are better than storm balls. i HATE storm and I LOVE BRUNSWICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe I found a ball next to the Track Crunch that fits my arsenal very well. I had received one last year with the pin above the ring finger, set off to the right a little bit (drilling 2L on the Brunswick drilling sheet). It was 2 unpredictable for me. So I sold it. But my instincts told me 2 get another one. So i got one for Christmas and drilled it with the pin above the bridge, closer to the ring finger. Just let it roll out far enough and good scores will be on the way. Very good choice from Brunswick, in particular the Brunswick Fuze line.

I needed something to compilment my Inferno when carrydown shows up or when the oil too much for the Inferno but not enough for my Raging Inferno. And I couldn't have asked for a better ball. My Eliminator is 15lb with a 2-3" Pin and is drilled label leverage. I am a high rev lefty with ball speeds around 17 to 18mph. This is the perfect compliment to my Inferno when the oil is just too long and my inferno won't turn the corner, this defiantly does the job. It is a little stronger the the Inferno and makes it's move a little earlier then it. I really like the reaction I get from it, very smooth contunous arc, even when the backends are stronger or when carrydown this there. And the hit and carry is great just like all of Brunswick stuff. The only problem I have with it is it defaintly needs some head oil, when the heads dry up put it up because it's dead a 40 feet. Good bowlin, Joe

Hard hit, and good carry. Another quality Brunswick ball. I generally use this ball for game 3, and use my AZO Drastic Carbide for games 1 and 2. I purchased the eliminator first and It just didn't move as much as I needed it to, partly because of the way the ball is drilled. The layout for my ball is layout 2E, for medium oil and an early roll. The problem is the ball doesn't roll early for me. Regardless the ball is perfect for me when the lanes start to dry up a bit, and there is no need for a spare ball to pick up a 10 pin.

I love the way this ball takes the over - under reaction out of my reactions when the conditions are tough such as in a sport shot or tournament shot. Personally I used this ball at the 2003 JOG semifinals and matchplay finals (which were on sport patterns) and had great success with it until the head oil left. This ball provides me with great carry. I have shot many great scores with this ball and I am very happy with it. Great Brunswick ball. Very versatillle with the cover also. I can scuff it to make it a bit more aggressive and then polish it up to get it farther down the lane also.<sc

i polished the ball, forgot how much i did.. not much thou.. wanted to make it for medium oil, so that it snaps harder...it works!! hits like a tank.. very predictable, very smooth... wonder ball...dosent over react, under react, played second arrow on medium oil lanes, sent out to 5th - 7th board and whamps.. pins juz flew like there's no tmr... barely lives pin 7, sometimes pin 9, when it hits too hard. even with a kiss, it blows them away. before polishing the ball, it hooks even more.. i had a detonator and el nino 2002, both for medium to heavy oil, so had to polish it.. hehe

This ball is awesome....hits hard, reacts hard, and looks great going down the lane. The only thing about this ball is that you must have oil and there must be clean backends.....in other words it will be a tremendous ball for wet/dry conditions. You can also get away with using this ball for carrydown......Caution....when you leave more than one ten-pin with this ball, it is time to change balls or move.....most experienced people know this though. Specs: 3 1/2 in. Pin Pin Below bridge and CG kicked out to the bottom right. 16 lbs. Excellent Ball~~~!

I drilled this ball balance leverage and I think this is a very good ball. I think it is pretty forgiving and good for medium to heavy oil. It rolls pretty early but doesn't over or under hook. Its pretty consistent and its very easy to control. I would recommend this ball and giving it 10 out of 10, you can shine it up for medium or dull it for heavy. Very versital ball and its great for when the lanes are in transition, all you have to do is change the coverstock for the lane condition. I like it mostly because its a strong arcing hook instead of a skid and snap. The blue and orange look good too.

i like this ball very much because i could play it like my igniter in a greater amount of oil. i played a 256 in the second game with it.it has also backend reaktion in carry down. i throw it if my icon 2 has a too strong turn at the end of the lane and my igniter slides down zhe lane with a too late breakpoint . it will hook even when you forget the fingers . this is another great ball of the brunsw. fuze serie and it is very good for players with low revs and alitte to high speed. with a lot of revs it will hook too much

This ball is spectacular. I took the place of my X-Factor because that ball is way too flip-whippie. I can control that pretty much on any part of the lane. I threw it on the US Open shot and was able to have a great amount of control, accuracy, and pin action. This ball is a must have in everyones bag. And the price is great. But you need to take care of the ball. The oil loves this kind of ball. I never used to clean my ball between shots, but since this ball soaks up so fast you need to. And the best thing is, using the Ebonite Micro-fiber Towel to clean that ball off.

Test Ball: 15 lb., pin 3-1/4", drilled with pin 4-1/2" from PAP; CG kicked right, approx. 1/2 oz. positive side weight, no X-hole. BOWLER: RH, 'rotationally-challenged', medium ball-speed. I have awaited this low-load particle entry for a long time, since most high-load particle balls tend to vacuum "house" conditions into unplayability within a game or so, frying all the conditioner off the heads and making midlanes spotty and unpredictable. The moderate-flaring layout selected was intended as either a beginning ball for fresh 'house' conditions, or a 'go-to' ball for Sport or longer house patterns. It succeeded, but with cautions. On a standard house oil pattern, this ball, despite the low particle load, is still a VERY STRONG ball. A 'low-load' particle coverstock this may be, but the particles they did put in there, spent a month doing pushups before being blended into this cover. The ball makes a VERY decisive move down-lane, but doesn't overreact. However, on the shorter

For the most part, this is a great ball. The only crazy thing about this ball is, when the lanes start to break down, instead of making a usual 2 or 3 board adjustment, you have to make about a 5 board adjustment, tends to hook more the deeper you get, that's why it is important to find the oil with this ball. The eliminator hits like a jakked up red fuze, it will throw some pins around. So with the Fuze Eliminator, find the oil and don't be afraid to throw the ball! And if you have to turn the ball harder, put some speed on it or you might not like what happens.

I AM A BEGINNER BOWLER AND THIS IS MY FIRST BALL. I WOULD SAY FROM MY FIRST COUPLE OF GAMES IT TOOK ME A WHILE TO GET USED TO THE AWESOME HOOKING POWER. GREAT BALL ALL AROUND. WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANY BEGINNER ALL THE WAY THROUGH PRO-AMS. THIS BALL IS VERY AGGRESSIVE ON THE BACK END.WOULD RECCOMEND IT TO ANYONE WHO NEEDS STRIKING POWER IN THE PIT. YOU CAN'T THROW IT SOFT, YOU MUST BE AGGRESSIVE WITH IT, TO GET GOOD RESULTS. AS SOON AS I LET IT GO, AND SEE MY BREAK POINT, I KNOW ITS GOING TO BE FLUSH IN THE POCKET.SINCE I PURCHASED IT, I CAN'T WAIT TO BOWL IN LEAGUES.

Well it has been a while since I wrote a review and I am a little rusty but he we go. We drilled this for a three pro shop staffers. One player go down and in, one player spins the ball, and one player likes to circle the ball. With all bowlers, it was super clean through the front part of the lane even on burnt lane conditions. The ball went into a mid-lane roll, and made a strong arcing motion to the pocket. I think that this is a super ball in the Brunswick line. The Eliminator is a great performance ball and would fit nicely into a lot of bowlers bags.

Brunswick is moving to the top of the leader board again. Their latest addition, the Eliminator, combines the strongest reactive cover (Raging Red Fuze) with a light load Proactive that keeps the ball from "squirting" to far on heavily oiled heads. The Proactive particles also keep the ball from overreacting on extremely dry backends. Basically this ball does exactly what the advertising says. This is a ball that every company will try to copy. Just like the Danger Zone of old. The surface is extremely versital also. For me, I have polished it a bit more because the center I bowl league at has Guardian the first 23'. With a bit more polish than box finish, the Eliminator clears the fronts without bogging down. As stated before, THE Perfect ball.

This ball is so versitile. I threw it on light /medium oil the other night just to see what its would do. I was not disapointed. I almost tossed a 300. This ball has a very unique reaction. Very smooth and even yet extremly powerfull. Reads the lane very well. You dont have to worry about over/under problems to much with this ball. It almost totally eliminates them. Very nice ball. Worth every penny you will spend on buying it. I got this ball drilled up with the pin above my ring finger axis 4 1/2 inches strong. So far its been working well for me. Just about any style of player could match up well with this ball because its so versitile.

16 pounds Top Weight: 3.5 Pin out: 3-4 inches Factory Surface The first ball out of my bag, and this will probably be the only ball you need to have in your hand. I have mine drilled up 4 1/2 strong with the pin next to my ring finger and the cg below my centerline. This puts the weight hole below my axis. I bowled a tournament this past weekend and this was the only ball I threw. I only had to move a total of five boards the entire day. The Eliminator floats though the heads with ease, considering it's a particle ball. It read the midlanes, but didn't skid too far or hook up too soon. The times that I did throw it left of my target it rolled up strong and left nothing in its path. Then the times that I tugged it inside of my mark, it retained its engery and stood up just in time to crush the hole. That is another thing that is just amazing about this ball, the pin action. The Eliminator destroys anything and everything on the pin deck. Weather you hit light of hea

More backends than I expected, but very easy to control and the hit is marvelous, I had 16 strikes in a row the first night of league with it, no 300 though, I gassed it in the 9th. I agree with the guy about being a Red Fuze on Steroids except this ball is not jerky at all, just real strong. I usually only drill up one of each ball that I purchase, but I think this is one that I want to have a couple of different looks from. The thing that I really like is this ball looks like its revving real hard and then it changes into overdrive when it hits the backends. Definately worth the money.<scrip

Setting 1E for me (maximum hook for low rev players) which ultimately dialed out as stacked leverage, pin parallel to my ring finger. The result is 20 boards left compared to my storm tour power. I have not seen any brunswick product yet that has better retained energy than this ball. I have thrown 20 games over the past 3 days with the stock cover and I now have the ball on my haus to work the cover up to 1500 at a minimum. I am a 16 rev player with 15-16mph ball speed and this ball puts me against the return on the right lane. EXACTLY what i wanted this ball for. It definately stays in the bag as my 1 of 8 for tournament play. So far the stock cover doesn't seem too forgiving if i miss inside the target, unless i pull with speed. Backend recovery is better than average, and proves to be a relatively strong arc. Nothing angular. But the arc in this setting is about 18 boards from 50 feet to the hole and carry is pretty much phenominal. Simply, this ball must be projected right! The ra

I went with a different drilling for this ball than any other ball I have. It's set up 5x3, pin under ring finger. This was the brunswick recomended "SMOOTH" drilling. It is just that smooth. It gets through the heads really easy on the first condition I tried (33ft buffed to 35, 8 feet on the outsides). I started standing 49 (yes 49th board) throwning out to the 5 board @ 45ft. this ball opens up the lanes in a BIG way. At 45ft this ball made the turn and almost goes through the rack at a 60 or 80 degree angle. Anything near the pocket carried, including a rack that saw 4 pieces of deadwood come out at least 10 feet. I LOVE this ball! I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a ball with a TON of backend. It has great traction on heavy oil, and is a great tournament ball. Just don't throw it on dry, it much come back and hit you. UPDATE!!! I threw this ball tonight on dry lanes. The oil wasn't very thick, and my D2Z and Frenzy were hooking o
