The Ultra Zone brings the new EnMotion reactive coverstock from the Twisted Fury into the Zone line and combines it with the updated Phantom core to create an ultra-low-RG alternative that complements the reaction of the Twisted Fury. EnMotion combines the best elemnts from our PowerKoil, Activator and N'Control coverstock systems to creat good length combined with excellent mid-lane recovery and strong back-end hooking action. The Ultra Zone unites EnMotion coverstock with the ultra-low-RG updated Phantom core. Ultra-low-RG's are known for strong mid-lane recovery moves and their controllable back-end hooking action. Drilled for a skid-snap reaction. Have only thrown three sets with this ball (607-585-706). I dont throw very many 700 series, so to throw one on my third set, is pretty amazing. This is by far and away the best hooking and best hitting ball I have owned in some time. The ball has yet to roll out. The only thing I cant do with this ball is hit a ten pin. Purchased ball for $80 delivered on ebay. Normally I play up the first arrow and let the ball go long before breaking. I was able to throw from 15 out to 8 and get the ball back to the pocket. I wanted the twisted fury, but with the same coverstock and perhaps a more aggressive weight block and cheaper, this ball is win-win

I love it. I used to throw a Hammer Black Widow, but I picked up this Brunswick Ultra Zone after much consideration of what I wanted. I haven't put it down since. I wanted a ball that went longer and then came in aggressive in the backend and the Ultra Zone delivers! I can't ask for more than my Ultra Zone gives me. It goes longer and has a very angular violent back end. I couldn't be happier. If you're looking for a ball to take your game to the next level at a great price, look no further than the Brunswick Ultra Zone.

I’m not posting as much as I used to, but once in a while a ball comes along that is so good you just have to let the secret out. The Ultra Zone is one of those “special” balls – like the Danger Zone, the Original Inferno, the Absolute Inferno… When the Twisted Fury came out and I saw all the hype, I bought a couple, and I was impressed. However, it is a "higher" RG ball than I like, and they don’t always match up well for me on fresh house shots, which is what I usually bowl on at this stage of my bowling life. I could tell that the Twisted had a superb coverstock, but the core relegated it to “in the bag just in case” duties. I just kept throwing my Absolute Inferno, and occasionally something else, but the Absolute was my go-to ball. Then, one day – FINALLY – a solid / pearl Hybrid EnMotion coverstock with a lower RG core arrived on my doorstep. It was the combo I’d been waiting for. This is as close to a “perfect” bowling ball that I’ve thrown, and I’ve been bowling a looooong t

Pin To PAP = 5 1/2" MB = 45 Pin Buffer = 3" PAP = 4 3/4 x 3/4up Layout was long/strong backend. Not what I saw OOB. Tried playing this ball on the same line as my Twisted Fury (Feet on first dot left of center,, Ball out on 13 swinging to 6/7) What I found was the ball just didn't have anything to get back to pocket. Moved inside to try more oil but the ball trucked the pins leaving no mix up, they went straight into back. Tried polish and the ball played great up the 5 board but had to be percise. So I knocked it down to 1000 grit. Found that this played vvery well if I moved my feet 3 boards right from my Twisted Fury line and play it in same area (12/13 board out). On this line it kept the pins low and mixing well. Managed a 279 on my first game using this line. If the ball is thrown right its a super ball, if you make minor errors though you will see them. Too far outside at this surface the ball comes too hard. Inside it doesn't sit like my Twisted will. I
