Every Urethane (Conventional and Reactive is made by combining a liquid polyol and a liquid isocyanate to make a solid urethane polymer. Brunswick has gone back to these foundations and developed a totally new polyol, combined with a radically new Liquid Crystal Isocyanate and Additive system in order to create Activator, a new Advanced Reactive material. Activator coverstocks features a layered molecular structure that improves both coverstock durability and overall ball reaction. By design, the Activator material can be formulated to independently control the ball's traction in the oil and reaction to the dry. This ability to control the Traction/Friction Response has been used to fine tune the Activator coverstock to match up with a new Ultra-Low Rg core creating the Inferno, a ball with unparalleled characteristics from the foul line to the pit. Inferno Advantages: In the front-ends: The Inferno's Activator coverstock is cleaner through the fronts, saving more reaction for the

I wanted to get the Intense Inferno, but was a bit short on money, so I got this real cheap, NEW, drilled it (lefty) with the pin right to the left of my ring finger, about 2 inches, CG directly below it, and a small weight hole.

This ball is perfect for the conditions I play on, before it I had a Raging Inferno, but was too damn aggressive, the original Inferno is, simply put, spectacular.

But the ball, big revs, goes quite a bit, and the just snaps back to the pocket, first league games, out of the box, 248, 223, 232, for a 703 series.

By the first series with it I am quite impressed, still might go and buy the II, but will stick with te original one for some time.

Brunwick has won me back with this baby.

Not the best carrydown ball, but due to the fact of being a lefty I kind of get less carrydown than the rest, can go deep inside, and avoid dry spots or carrydown.

This ball is unstoppable. I used drilling suggestion 2L off of the Brunswick reccomended drillings sheet and I'm glad I did. I've never seen a more versatile ball then this one is. It can be used on a variety of conditions, although it should not be used on very dry conditions or when the heads dry out too much. At that point its kinda like driving a car with your feet: you can do it, but that doesn't make it a good idea. All in all I couldn't be happier with this ball. Thank you Brunswick for another great quality product

this is a great ball. i can see why so many people got this. with this ball you must hit your breakpoint. this is a different concept for many people. buy this ball and it will teach you how to be accurate. i pulled the ball a few times and that would lead through something nasty through the face. this ball is also good on carrydown. all it does is save up more energy and has a nice arc instead of snap. this ball also creates some wild messengers. just today 5 messengers to the 7 pin and even a few to the ten. i tried playing deeper than normal to see what this ball would do. unlike the ultimate inferno, when you do this it will still have some hitting power but have a tendency to leave a few 7's. i havent really hit heavy enough to leave an 8 pin but i did leave a few 9's while trying to play deep. overall this ball gets a 9 because with some accuracy and timing anyone can score high with this ball well today with the help of my mother i figured out how to stop the problem of the

This ball is truly the best ball in Brunswick's Inferno line, as most original balls are in my opinion such as the Throttle, Freak, Icon and Killer Instinct. The angularity on the backend of this ball can be similar to the Throttle because of the revolutions that a bowler can get when it enters the pocket. When this ball is thrown correctly, it can be extremely deadly, when it is not, look out. The Activator coverstock is one of the best on the market, and because of it, the reaction on the backend of the lane is tremendous. The Hit on this ball as well is just violent, almost hits like it was shot out of a cannon. GREAT JOB BRUNSWICK.

Bowler Specs; Lefty Rev Rate: 450-500 Speed: 17.5mph Ball Specs; 15lbs Drilled with the Pin above Ring Finger, Cg under Middle Finger. 2000 Grit wet sanded, and Really really polsihed. This is my third original Inferno and this one covers the medium/light conditions perfectly. This Inferno gets through the drier heads easily, having great length and big angular backend. It is a little jumpy of the dry, which is expected, when I have something so polished. This Inferno doesn't like oil or carrydown definitly needing some dry to get up and move. The carry is great along with all Brunswicks and the Inferno series. This just goes to show how versitile the orignial Inferno really is, and no matter what condition your looking for the Inferno can cover it, and cover it perfectly.

As with most balls, this one seems to be condition specific. I drilled mine to go long and flip, without the violent snap. The Inferno did exactly what I desired. It gets through the heads cleanly, carries as well as any ball, and has a "heavy" roll into the pocket. Used on medium to slick conditions, this ball rolls well, gives a consistent reaction and does not over react. Not the greatest ball if you only carry one or two, but a great addition to an arsenal of 3 or more balls. The first tourney I used this ball I won while averaging 248 for 11 games. Yes, it was a wall, but I would have only been in the 230's with my other equipment.

MINE HAS A 4-1/2" PIN AND 2.5 OZ. OF TOP WEIGHT. IT GOES VERY LONG, BUT HAS A VERY STRONG BACKEND. THIS BALL SEEMS VERSATILE ENOUGH TO BE LAID OUT SEVERAL DIFFERENT WAYS AND BE COMPATIBLE WITH MOST ANY CONDITION. THIS BALL SEEMS VERY VERSATILE TO MULTIPLE DRILLING LAYOUTS AND IT IS CONCIEVABLE TO HAVE A COUPLE TO HANDLE THE MAJORITY OF THE CONDITIONS YOU WILL ENCOUNTER. IF THE CONDITION IS BURNT, PUT IT UP, IT WILL TRACK UP PRETTY QUICK AND MAY OVERREACT. IT SEEMED TO OPEN UP THE MIDDLE OF THE LANE FOR ME WHERE BEFORE I WAS PLAYING MORE OF THE SECOND ARROW OUT TO ABOUT 5-7, NOW I AM BETWEEN THE THIRD AND FOURTH ARROW AND CARRYING THE CORNERS.

This is one of my favorite bowling balls that I own. I have had it now for about one year and it is pretty versitile. I have used it on oily lane and dry lanes and it seems to still work. You just have to be able to adjust to the way the lane conditions are. I just move left with my feet when they start to break down and it works just fine. I got this ball in a have-a-ball league and it was recommended to me by the pro shop manager. This was one of my choices before I asked him what I was looking for. Overall, It is a ball that most should really like.

this ball is the devils child i tell you. I got this ball drilled skid flip with the pin above the ring finger. When i got it i could play 3-4 arrow with it and swing it out to 5 and have it come back. But 2 games later.....im playing 2nd arrow straight up. The ball has a bad UNDER reaction. if you dont hit straight up 10 every shot....your screwed. I couldnt swing the ball from 10 to 8. It wouldnt come back. and every once in a while that it did come back, it hit liek a LITTLE GIRL! its pin action is HORRIABLE. i have left so many dang 7 pins and 8-10's its unreal. the only thing i liek about it was i shot 300 with it by playing straight up 10. This ball was 1 and done
