Every Urethane (Conventional and Reactive is made by combining a liquid polyol and a liquid isocyanate to make a solid urethane polymer. Brunswick has gone back to these foundations and developed a totally new polyol, combined with a radically new Liquid Crystal Isocyanate and Additive system in order to create Activator, a new Advanced Reactive material. Activator coverstocks features a layered molecular structure that improves both coverstock durability and overall ball reaction. By design, the Activator material can be formulated to independently control the ball's traction in the oil and reaction to the dry. This ability to control the Traction/Friction Response has been used to fine tune the Activator coverstock to match up with a new Ultra-Low Rg core creating the Inferno, a ball with unparalleled characteristics from the foul line to the pit. Inferno Advantages: In the front-ends: The Inferno's Activator coverstock is cleaner through the fronts, saving more reaction for the

In the past I averaged 2-3 new balls PER year. Since I bought this ball 2 years ago, I have only bought one,(ragin Inferno) and really did not need it!!! I have had this ball for two years now, and it still carries as good if not better now than when it was new! After averaging 203-206 for a couple years I figured that I hit my peak in average. I jumped 15 pins last year using this ball and have steadily held around 218-220 using this ball. A must have ball for anyone that wants pin carry. Although when I first bought this ball I did have a little trouble figuring out exactly how to play it, once I did there was nothing but pins falling afterwards! I can play down and in or swing it a few boards, with this ball. Although I cant play too deep inside (4th arrow is the deepest I can play with this ball), this ball will come back from the edge (2-3) and strike flush. Of course I am sure others with more talent than me can play anywhere on the lane and score! If you have a smooth deli

This ball is great at the beginning of a set. Has a tendency as games are put on the lane to loose reaction and angle to pocket. I move to the left as the lanes dry up. Once the lanes start to carry down, I struggle getting this ball to finish hard. I either have to give up angle to the pocket by going more through the middle of the lane or I have to back off of the revs and stay more under the ball and then I loose hitting power. Which for me tends to mean single pins (10 pin especially)<s

owned it for over two years now and it still hooks and hits hard. I will say this is the best ball ever made by brunswick. grab a litte head oil and swing it out to the dry and the strikes will come. what i also like is the durable coverstock . you can rack up a lot of strikes just clean the ball every six games or so. strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike

IT HAS BEEN A WHILE SINCE I POSTED A REVIEW. I BOUGHT THIS BALL LAST SPRING, NOT BEING A BIG BRUNSWICK FAN AT THE TIME. I DRILLED THIS BALL WITH THE PIN RIGHT BELOW THE RING FINGER 3.5 INCHES FROM THE PAP WITH THE MB KICKED OUT IN STRONG POSITION. WHAT A BALL!!! THIS BALL IS VERY READABLE,WITH A LOT OF DRIVE AT THE END OF A SHOT. IT IS EASY TO PLAY ANY WHERE ON THE LANE. I USUALLY PLAY AROUND THE 2ND ARROW DEPENDING ON THEN NIGHT. I CAN NOW SAY I AM ON THE BRUNSWICK WAGON. YOU KNOW ITS A GOOD BALL WHEN THE COMPANY HAS BEEN MAKING IT FOR A COUPLE OF YEARS. FIVE STAR PRO SHOP

I recently got an inferno and bowled with it for the first time today. I had it drilled to hook a lot so i could use it on medium to heavy oil. I liked the overall reaction I got. I would describe it as a hard arc that is pretty late and not too flippy. This was exactly what I was looking for. This ball is so predictable I pretty much knew what if anything I would leave half way through my approach. My other ball I have is a columbia 300 ti messenger pearl and I had to throw it pretty slow on heavier oil to get a good reaction. With my inferno I can throw a lot faster and get more hook still. I really like the low RG core, because it allows me to put more revs on the ball and open up the lane. This is the best ball ive ever thrown. EDIT: I had my inferno dulled, and have never seen more strikes and pin action with any ball. it lets me roll 17-18 MPH with still enough hook to drive through the pins. The only thin is now I can't miss outside of my mark, or it's a sure thing washout. O

Bowler Info; Lefty 450rpms, 18mph ball speeds Ball info: 4.5 Inch Pin, 3.5oz TW Drilled, Pin half inch under ring, Cg down and swung out towards axis. x-Hole was placed below axis. This was kind of a different drill for me, really never tried anything like this before. Expected to get real quick revs, and a very smooth backend reaction. And thats what I got. Went out and threw this on a 36' pattern lots of oil in the center and real strong outsides and clean backends. Any time I play in this house I usally start out inside 4th arrow with my medium oiler pearls. Since the backends and outsides are sooo strong it's often hard to control the backends. With the new Inferno, I was able to move about 5 boards in at the arrows, and had a much better look. The Inferno revs up real fast and has great midlane and real smooth backend reaction. This is however, a very condition specific drill, it can be used on medium oil but needs some dry. Also it doesn't like carrydown at all.

What a great start to a new line of Brunswick Equipment. This ball has awesome back end with a very readable skid - flip reaction. Only complaint is that every once in a while i ran into a problem with over under reaction. Ball rolls clean through the heads and exploads in the dry. Hits very hard and carries well. Ball keeps a strong reaction in carry down which is a big help on those bad carry down nights. When everyone is struggling with reaction i know my ball is gonna hook. One suggestion is to leave its factory finish. I polished the ball once for a tournament and the reaction was lost on the tournament shot and my normal house shot. When i restored the factory finish it went right back to hooking a ton.

I wanted to get the Intense Inferno, but was a bit short on money, so I got this real cheap, NEW, drilled it (lefty) with the pin right to the left of my ring finger, about 2 inches, CG directly below it, and a small weight hole. This ball is perfect for the conditions I play on, before it I had a Raging Inferno, but was too damn aggressive, the original Inferno is, simply put, spectacular. But the ball, big revs, goes quite a bit, and the just snaps back to the pocket, first league games, out of the box, 248, 223, 232, for a 703 series. By the first series with it I am quite impressed, still might go and buy the II, but will stick with te original one for some time. Brunwick has won me back with this baby. Not the best carrydown ball, but due to the fact of being a lefty I kind of get less carrydown than the rest, can go deep inside, and avoid dry spots or carrydown.
