Every Urethane (Conventional and Reactive is made by combining a liquid polyol and a liquid isocyanate to make a solid urethane polymer. Brunswick has gone back to these foundations and developed a totally new polyol, combined with a radically new Liquid Crystal Isocyanate and Additive system in order to create Activator, a new Advanced Reactive material. Activator coverstocks features a layered molecular structure that improves both coverstock durability and overall ball reaction. By design, the Activator material can be formulated to independently control the ball's traction in the oil and reaction to the dry. This ability to control the Traction/Friction Response has been used to fine tune the Activator coverstock to match up with a new Ultra-Low Rg core creating the Inferno, a ball with unparalleled characteristics from the foul line to the pit. Inferno Advantages: In the front-ends: The Inferno's Activator coverstock is cleaner through the fronts, saving more reaction for the

I use my Inferno on a typical brunswick synthetic house. Cool thing is... no matter what shot is laid in this house, I can flat out score every time,. There are a few times where I am forced to play 20 to 8ish, and I still carry very very well... I shot 250-225-276 last night on a medium light broken down shot after 2 leagues. Back ends were scorched, but the ball held well.

I am right handed, a refined cranker, with good ball speed and a high track, high flair style.

I just hope the Smoking Inferno can go longer for me.

This is a great ball plain and simple. If you are tired from a long days work and bowl in a late league pick this ball and stroke your way to the pay window. You don't have to over power or rev up this ball to get great carry. Focus on getting a good release and this ball will do the rest. I rolled my first 300 game with this ball and won our local King of the Hill tournament. All the years I've been bowling with countless 279, 280, and 290 games this ball gave me confidence and trust of its read and reaction on the lane. This time in the tenth frame I did not think about anything I just cut it loose and let it do all the work . If you don't get to some score with this ball then find somebody or something to blame but don't blame Brunswick or the Inferno becuase this ball is the truth! Maybe its too good that's why its off the market now. Sorry Brunswick "it is what it is" a great ball.

got this one used from a friend and i love it. i can throw it on about any oil pattern or condition. on very light oil you can get deep and crank the hell out of it.if you have a little more oil just get in the middle and crank it out to about ten board watch it come back, pins fly everywhere. if you have med-heavy oil you can crank it fron the middle with a little less swing on it. in a flood just get right put hand in it and go down the boards.from any of these patterns this ball will shred the deck. like i said this is the most versitile ball i own.great ball and a start to a great line from brunswick.

Ball is 15lbs 2 oz with 3 inch pin laid out 4x4. If you can get your hands on one I highly recommend doing so. This is now my benchmark ball. Very controllable and I can't believe how versatile this ball is. I can play anything from light to med-heavy with this rock. Responds nicely to hand and speed adjustments. I used this ball for singles and doubles at nationals in Baton Rouge last month. Started throwing 27over 15 to 11 at the break and gradually moved left as the sets went on. I ended last game of singles throwing 38 over 23 to 14. Shot 612 and 637 when everyone else was struggling to shoot 560's. I won enough bracket money to pay for 2 new balls and new bag before I left. Looking forward to starting next year’s tournament season. Get one while you can.

By far the best balls I've owned in a long time (I say balls as I have 2 of them) My first one was a 15 pounder drilled with the pin above the fingers with it and the CG right on my gripline (unfortunetly, I don't know my PAP numbers offhand, so I can't give you a pin and CG to PAP distance) This ball has been my money ball. Pretty much usable on any shot save extreme oil or carrydown. It's very smooth in it's transition and is very controllable. Only negative is that it can skate too long on carrydown and start hitting weak. The second one was a used one 15 pounder from a friend of mine. I slugged the thumb and pretty much drilled it label, with the pin sitting just to the right of my ring finger and the CG in the center of the grip. Compared to my first one, this one picks up a quicker roll and is earlier in it's break point. It works great when my other one won't quite make the corner. Carry is excellent as well. You do need head oil with this as it will roll too quick without

This is one of the best ball ever made, no only by brunswick but the whole bowling empire! This ball is very versatile and will match up to a variety of house and sport shots. All of these characteristics become more apparent on less than ideal lane surfaces or as the lane condition breaks down. Forgiveness, recovery and hit are preserved as the lane condition changes allowing you to keep striking longer with your Inferno before needing to change balls. This is one of my first infernos and I am sure it wont be the Last. GO Brunswick ¡Viva la nación de Brunswick!

#14 drilled pin above bridge with cg out 1". This is one of my favorite drills with a 3 1/2 pin. Played 19 to 5 and had the entire right side. As described smooth the fronts, revs up strong in the mids then makes a hockey stick turn to the left. I could read this balls reaction everytime. 772 series ( 258,299,215) 3 clean games with the last game 4,8,9,10 and 10 pin on the fill ball. Must find a few more for storage. This ball has dominated the houses the way the Zones used to be of the 90"s<sc

had this ball drilled with the cg 1 1/2 inch from the center of my grip with the pin over my ring finger. ball will go long and snap back as long as the lanes are fresh and with little carry down. once the oil starts pushing towards the pins I usually have to make a ball change. I am getting this ball plugged and redrilled to have a stronger reaction and an earlier roll. i will post another review after i use that setup for a while. overall i think the inferno is a very good performer on medium oil.
