Every Urethane (Conventional and Reactive is made by combining a liquid polyol and a liquid isocyanate to make a solid urethane polymer. Brunswick has gone back to these foundations and developed a totally new polyol, combined with a radically new Liquid Crystal Isocyanate and Additive system in order to create Activator, a new Advanced Reactive material. Activator coverstocks features a layered molecular structure that improves both coverstock durability and overall ball reaction. By design, the Activator material can be formulated to independently control the ball's traction in the oil and reaction to the dry. This ability to control the Traction/Friction Response has been used to fine tune the Activator coverstock to match up with a new Ultra-Low Rg core creating the Inferno, a ball with unparalleled characteristics from the foul line to the pit. Inferno Advantages: In the front-ends: The Inferno's Activator coverstock is cleaner through the fronts, saving more reaction for the

I have thrown just about every ball released in the past few years and NOTHING even compares to this one. I can move as far left as I want and even move as far right as I want and the ball still splits the 8 and 9 pin, other balls I have I can move around with but non of them are as forgiving with as much hit as the Inferno. Now maybe I can get off of the ball of the month program, or ball of the week. I havent bought 2 of any ball in quite awhile, but I sure will this time. Thank You.

If you want a ball that leaves the ground when it makes a turn to the pocket then drill this one over the lable and LOOK OUT. Most people will not be able to control this drilling unless they change the surface. Brunswick should have named this ball " THE TRUTH". You say why? Because " YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH". What actor used that line? Seriously, this ball reguires a little thought before you put three or four holes in it. I'm not going to boast to how well I scored with this monster , just ask around " how did Chris Barnes play so many places with three different hand positions and out average the field to win his first title of the year. He had more lane with the Inferno than anyone else. I'm sure by the time you read this someone in your center will show you what i'm talking about. This is one of those balls that do'nt come out that often and you here people say " I have to drill two of these babies" Old Timer

Brunswick has finally come up with a true skid/flip ball. But with tremendous control. The Inferno never once wanted to overshoot or squirt past the breakpoint, yet on shots that were inside of target it would push to the breakpoint and then recover hard. My hats off to the R&D folks at the big "B". They have really done their homework on this ball. The length that Brunswick fans have been begging for, yet the control that only Brunswick equipment has been able to deliver over the years. To all, If you don't go get an Inferno, you will just be bowling for 2nd place.

I read up on the ball and saw that it was a new coverstock for Brunswick, This is the most amazing ball I have ever used. It makes the out of bounds disappear. I had to keep trying my other stuff to make sure. I got an extra 4 or 5 boards of room right, as my other stuff was waving at the 3 pin on the way by, the Inferno kept coming back. Its been a long time since I have had a bird dog, but I had at least 5 yesterday. I may have to change my screen name to old cranker or something. Thank You Brunswick !

What a ball! It strikes on almost everything and is affected very little by carrydown. The moves one has to make during transition are greatly reduced making this a great ball to use on almost any condition! The only problems one might face with this ball are backends that are too dry. On fresh you might want to use something else first, and then when the lanes carrydown this ball could come out. Also, the surface is very easily tunable to almost any kind of lane condition one could think of, and easily goes back to it's original out of box finish!
