Every Urethane (Conventional and Reactive is made by combining a liquid polyol and a liquid isocyanate to make a solid urethane polymer. Brunswick has gone back to these foundations and developed a totally new polyol, combined with a radically new Liquid Crystal Isocyanate and Additive system in order to create Activator, a new Advanced Reactive material. Activator coverstocks features a layered molecular structure that improves both coverstock durability and overall ball reaction. By design, the Activator material can be formulated to independently control the ball's traction in the oil and reaction to the dry. This ability to control the Traction/Friction Response has been used to fine tune the Activator coverstock to match up with a new Ultra-Low Rg core creating the Inferno, a ball with unparalleled characteristics from the foul line to the pit. Inferno Advantages: In the front-ends: The Inferno's Activator coverstock is cleaner through the fronts, saving more reaction for the

I think this ball has something that makes it superb.

It's reaction is so uncommon and so effective that I could not find it in other balls I had been using until now.

I am so happy that Brunswick introduced it. It means that Brunswick technology is so advanced and trustworthy that I won't change Brunswick balls with other brands.

I would reccomend the new Inferno to the average bowlers who will see the big difference in terms of efficiency and final results.

That's all and I really hope to share my same feelings with other bowlers who believe on this ball as I do now.

I have found the inferno to be a great ball with great power and carry on the right condition. On this condition I can get this ball back from anywhere, but when on something more on the wet side or dry side I stick this ball in the bag pretty quick. I would suggest this ball to someone looking for a ball that will serve one purpose for a certain condition. It isn't a ball that can be thrown on anything in my opinion, well not if you want to score anyway. Overall this is a great ball for a person that likes to carry a few balls around and can wait for the opportunity to come up where you will need it.

This ball is so good I had to update my post. This ball is an absolute demon on the lanes. I've had everyone that I have bowled against telling me how well this ball hits. You can actually hear the difference when it hits. It sounds like a bomb exploded. I saw one post for this ball that said this ball talks the talk but can't walk the walk. Well, if you can't get this ball to work. I think you need to walk away from the game of bowling. This is the most forgiving ball on the market in my opinion. Anywhere and you will come up with a favorable result. Used it the other night and went the entire night without a ten pin. That is a major accomplishment because I usually see 9 or 10 a night. The ball will move, however, and it is usually too much ball for dry lanes, but that is what it is supposed to be. I've used many balls over the years and nothing, NOTHING, compares to this one.

Buy this ball. You will not be dissapointed. I bought this on Thursaday 3/6/03 and shot 647, and the other time I threw this ball I threw a 735 and a 670. That is not bad considering I am bowling with it right out of the box. I can't explain what this ball does. Words can't describe how this ball is. All I can say is that I have tried a lot of bowling balls like the Icon2, Freak Out, and Apex Aggresion, but no ball compares to the Inferno. Buy one for yourself and see how amazing this ball is. This is the BEST BALL YET!!! YOU CARRY EVERYTHING WITH THIS BALL!!!!!!

THIS BALL HOOKS A LOT AND HITS LIKE A TANK. IT LOOKS COOL WHEN IT GOES DOWN THE LANE AND WHEN IT HITS THE PINS IT SOUNDS LIKE AN EXPLOSION. THIS BALL IS THE BEST BALL OUT. THE FIRST DAY I THROW IT AND I SHOT AMAZING ONE OF MY GAMES WAS A 300. THIS BALL CAN BE THROWN ON THE FIRST ARROW OR HOOK THE WHOLE LANE. YOU CAN PULL THE BALL INSIDE BY 5 BOARDS AND STILL HIT THE POCKET LIKE A TANK OR SWING IT FAR OUTSIDE AND IT WILL COME BACK. I WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO EVERYONE IT IS BY FAR THE BEST BALL OUT AND WHEN THE LANES DRY OUT YOU CAN STILL PLAY A SIMILAR LINE TO THE LINE YOU THROW WITH OIL DOWN. GET THIS BALL.

This ball was hyped up so much to the point where it was off the charts. I was not pleased with the way it hooked because it tends to hang especially with oily conditions. I have tried cranking this thing to the point where it was 15 MPH and had about 30 revs by the times it got down and it burn up all the energy changing directions. By the time it hit the pins, it had the energy of a ping pong ball. This ball can't put its money where its mouth is. Another dissapointment from the fuze line.<scr

This ball has to be one of the biggest hooking balls I have used. I have it drilled to hook earlier and it works. The shot I shoot on is spotty and changes from night to day in a matter of frames. Put this ball outside too far and it comes back to the pocket like a heat seeking missile. Put it up high in the pocket and it is forgiving as hell. Go brooklyn and watch the pins fly. I've been in search of a great bowling ball for years, since my slate blue quantum. I've went through good balls but nothing great, balls like Vortex II particle, Icon 300, Storm Eraser Boost, but none and I mean none compare to this ball. They can't hold water to it. I'm gonna get my hands on another one and I'm gonna put it away. This ball is as good as the hype if not better. I recommend it to anybody.

This ball is unlike anything I have thrown, and I have thrown so many different balls in my lifetime. This ball needs oil and you better pay attention to the lanes because the skid snap constantly make you adjust unlike you have enough oil on the lanes. I had quite a few people ask what kind of ball I was throwing because it looks like an orange flame burning down the lane. Brunswick named the ball very appropriately the INFERNO, it sets the lanes on fire. Next week I will be using it in Knoxville, and I hope it is consistent on the ABC Condition. On the house shot I was swinging the ball from 28 out to 6,7,8 and as said the ball was burning up the lane.

Ball hits like nothing I've ever seen... gets a perfect 10 rating from me because of its versatility and scoring potential.. I'm giving mine to a friend who I feel can use it better than I... I'll stick with the mid-range balls, but if anyone wants to throw a friggin tank down the lane.. The Inferno is #1... Brunswick has hit a home run with this ball... I still haven't seen it hit the pro shops yet...so I can't compare prices, but at 250 or less.. you can't beat the bang for the buck...<scr
