Every Urethane (Conventional and Reactive is made by combining a liquid polyol and a liquid isocyanate to make a solid urethane polymer. Brunswick has gone back to these foundations and developed a totally new polyol, combined with a radically new Liquid Crystal Isocyanate and Additive system in order to create Activator, a new Advanced Reactive material. Activator coverstocks features a layered molecular structure that improves both coverstock durability and overall ball reaction. By design, the Activator material can be formulated to independently control the ball's traction in the oil and reaction to the dry. This ability to control the Traction/Friction Response has been used to fine tune the Activator coverstock to match up with a new Ultra-Low Rg core creating the Inferno, a ball with unparalleled characteristics from the foul line to the pit. Inferno Advantages: In the front-ends: The Inferno's Activator coverstock is cleaner through the fronts, saving more reaction for the

Ball went to long for me, i like a early rolling ball that will finish without rolling out. This is a true skid - snap ball. would probably fit for the down and in style bowlers out there. also a good ball to carry for a specific condition ( sport shots ). Did not work well for me on the house shot i bowl on every week and my tourny arsenal is full so i canned this baby! Hope this review does not scare any would be buyers away, it may work for you, it just does not fit in my game right now.

<sc

I was a bit skeptical at first...but it won me over once I was able to take full control. Keeps its energy down lane and EXPLODES thru the pocket. Carries amazingly well. Brunswick finally got it right. A high quality ball that was worth every penny. I used the factory finish, and I have no real complaints. Over throw it a little too much, and its a lost cause. Gotta be consistent. I cant imagine how much this ball moves on dry lanes. The Inferno burns up the boards, and it lives up to its name, thats for sure.

I have a 15lb ball with pin out approx. 3.5 inches. Ball is drilled with pin just above the ring finger and cg stacked below. The ball weighed out with just a touch of side weight, well within the legal limits, thus no balance hole was necessary. I am not the biggest Brunswick fan in the world, but I have to admit, this is an awesome ball. On your typical house/league shot, this ball can't be beat. I am rt handed, throw the ball approx 14-15mph with above average revs (average 200 to 210 in leagues). Lately I have been standing around 25 and targeting about 15 to 18 at the arrows. The ball gets through the heads with ease. Has a nice set up in the mids and FLYS through the backends. But the beauty of this ball is that if you pull it inside, no over reaction. It sits right to the hole, but still has enough drive to carry the house. If you pitch it out a little wide, it comes screaming back to the hole and again crushes the pocket. Of course the good shots area given. I

Wow this ball is on fire! Love it! Great all around ball. Unique coverstock. Seems soft but hits HARD! The Inferno is a great forgiving ball as well (except when you drop your shoulder then it isn't comin back fer ya)! I picked this ball up on ebay for around 120 clams. Not to shabby to say the least! I usually bowl 15 pound balls but decided to try out a 14 pound. No loss of power here! It rolls very smooth right through the rack. Another quality masterpiece from Brunswick. Now if they only bring back the Quantum products that would be sweet! This ball is hot!

This ball keeps the pin action low so the pin carry is very forgiving, will not hesitate to send a messenger to take out a corner pin. Opens the lanes up really well, and that's when the ball becomes even more dangerous, when you have more room to play with. I own 2 infernos, one of them being the one I had to resurface, and when that happened, the ball lost a lot of it's backend reaction, so I bought another one. After a few months, I decided to resurface the 1st one again, and polish it up with 2000, and the ball has a really close reaction to what it did when I first got it. Overall though, another great ball from Brunswick, and in my opinion, could be the best ball Brunswick has made since the Danger Zone, not saying anything in between was bad.

Inferno has a very nice profound turn and creates alot of room. The carry on a set of average lanes was very good. In 8 games, had one solid 8 and 5 solid 9's. However messengers took care of 4 of the 5 solid 9's. On an extremely light hit I had the 4-8 double wood falling last, with the 4 falling back and the 8 falling forward!!! Also had a couple nice trips of the 4 pin... With only me on this pair of lanes I started at 12 at the arrows out to inside 5. By my 8th game I was playing 17 at the arrows out to about board 8. However this on medium oiled lanes that desperatly need a complete resurfacing/cutting. Probably better results on a shot that holds up better. With this ball simply be ready to move left and give the inferno room to work. I just switched to 15lb. balls for increased accuracy and power. Inferno seems to be a great tool so far. More results just in: 550 on dry lanes working 17 at arrows to 5. Not alot of consistency on my part that night.... 699 on me

THIS, is an amazing ball. I have tried it on several different patterns in several houses, both wood and synthetic. The results are uniformly good. The only drawback I have found, and it's manageable, is that if the midlanes are spotty, the ball can move too early; but this is easily adjusted by a small move left. The ball gets through the heads easily and cleanly, whether they're freshly oiled or fried to a golden crisp. It gets plenty of distance down-lane, except (as noted) when it hits dry too early. And the move is a STRONG, arcing hook, not a 'snap' but not too far short of one. The thing is, I've been able to do almost ANYTHING with this ball-- I've pointed it to the pocket on fresh, long patterns with no problems of overreaction or corner-pins; I've played down the boards and arced it to the pocket flawlessly; I've played deeper, TIGHT lines, very direct, and it handles this beautifully; and I've stood left and swung it out and it bends right on back with the best of 'em.

This ball has to be one of the best balls produced by brunswick. I hope they keep this line alive and build with it. THe ball has a perfect reaction and I cant ask for anything more form brunswick. I have been a brunswick bowler all my life, and now i know why. This ball is amazing. If brunswick keeps producing equipment like this, believe me, i will always remain a brunswick bowler. I have tried ebonite and i dont like the way it rolled, now i have a ball that gets down the lane and just has a huge snap.

I think this ball has something that makes it superb. It's reaction is so uncommon and so effective that I could not find it in other balls I had been using until now. I am so happy that Brunswick introduced it. It means that Brunswick technology is so advanced and trustworthy that I won't change Brunswick balls with other brands. I would reccomend the new Inferno to the average bowlers who will see the big difference in terms of efficiency and final results. That's all and I really hope to share my same feelings with other bowlers who believe on this ball as I do now.
