Brunswick Inferno Bowling Ball

Every Urethane (Conventional and Reactive is made by combining a liquid polyol and a liquid isocyanate to make a solid urethane polymer. Brunswick has gone back to these foundations and developed a totally new polyol, combined with a radically new Liquid Crystal Isocyanate and Additive system in order to create Activator, a new Advanced Reactive material. Activator coverstocks features a layered molecular structure that improves both coverstock durability and overall ball reaction. By design, the Activator material can be formulated to independently control the ball's traction in the oil and reaction to the dry. This ability to control the Traction/Friction Response has been used to fine tune the Activator coverstock to match up with a new Ultra-Low Rg core creating the Inferno, a ball with unparalleled characteristics from the foul line to the pit. Inferno Advantages: In the front-ends: The Inferno's Activator coverstock is cleaner through the fronts, saving more reaction for the

The Original Inferno is the Big Daddy of the entire Inferno line. Of all of the 12 infernos that brunswick has created, this one is the foundation for one of the greatest legends in bowling equipment. The Original Inferno is the Big Daddy of the entire Inferno line. The unique core design and new activator coverstock created such a pure ball; perhaps that is why all infernos take after the original. They all have either activator or activator max, etc. Notice the core design in each ball..they don't mass produce if the ball isn't awesome. I use this ball on all conditions: house, sport, pba - it owns them all! By changing your roll, ball speed and/or surface, this ball is awesome on medium light - heavy oil. I strongly recommend this ball to any bowler who is looking for ideal picture perfect ball! The original inferno establishes the standard for a legend.

Rolls really smooth though the heads. Also, has a smooth arc into the pocket on just about any backend. High flush hits carry very well. I got this gem off a friend who used it very seldomly. We used it on dry lanes. I could have played up the lane, but had the possiblity of going high. So I played 30 over the middle arrow to board 14 and back. Golly. This ball hit high flush and carried everything. 214 234 213 236 203 Then I used this in Y/A league with my dad. This baby hit really well. I played up 15. 10 in the pit. If I pulled left, well the ball hooked left. Off to the right, if it hit a dry board, it would hook back. If not, well washout or 10 pin.

Ok....So This one I went a little unusual on. This ball is pin 1/2 inch to the right of the ring finger with the CG Kicked IN ona 45 Degree angle towards my palm. The surface was taken to 800 grit polished with the Brunswick Trizact system. No Weight hole was required. This ball is "THE NUTZ". Pure and simple. I have played it standing 42, thowing over 5th arrow, 38 over 4th arrow, 31 over 3rd arrow and the ball just reacts so well (all out to the 10 @ te hash marks). It charges SO hard to the pocket. I have even spent a night playing 20 (stand) over 10 down and in. It is versitile, very forgiving, and Probably the best ball Brunswick has ever made. I can hardly wait to see what's next.

Its a sweet ball would recommend everyone own one good midlane reaction with a backend pop. I even bought another one to drill up different and later. I also own the absolute, ultimate, scorchin, and total inferno. I have rolled them all and by far the original other than the absolute and ultimate is the best overall. The original hits like they all do but gives a smoother transition that the absolute and the ultimate i shined to get a good pin reaction. Overall its awesome and rereleased I can order these for anyone if your interested let me know.

I have two of these. One from back in 2004 made in USA, and one just re-released via the Ace-Mitchell re-orders made in Mexico. I can't tell the difference. The older ball is drilled with the pin above and between the fingers, CG kicked out a bit to the right of the vertical mid-line, above the horizontal mid-line, X-hole on the PAP, my PAP is 5 1/4 over - 1/4 up. In box finish this ball killed. Depending on the shot I could play up 10, belly from 15 or 20 to 10 or if they were burnt play a fall back shot. I have this in 2000 abralon now and it's very close to box finish in it's reaction. This layout goes somewhat medium long and has a nice arc on the finish. Very good for most oil unless super swampy or desert dry. Wood or synthetic doesn't matter. Change your speed or hand position if you are getting too much hook or not enough, or move left or right. When this ball hits, IT HITS. My newer Inferno is drilled almost "Rico" style. I would call this a Pin Down, Hole Down layout. P

Brunswick Original Inferno Ball speed: 14 to 15 The Brunswick OI is a beast. The Activator coverstock is very durable and easily adjusted. I've had my Inferno with high gloss and with rough buff. I've even thrown it dull. OI w/ high gloss: Made the ball a little skid/flip like. Not truly skip/flip but gave it a little extra length and it made a more defined turn to the pocket. OI w/ rough buff: Made the ball feel like it started hooking at my feet. Not a complaint I love the way the ball arced. It was a nice hard arc and it seemed that you could see the ball revv up in the midlane. I really enjoyed the movement this ball made with rough buff. Overall this is a very good ball. I hope the next ball Brunswick releases has an impact the way this ball does.

Normally I am not a fan of the Big B, it has been years since I last bought a brunswick., however I had seen so many people throw this ball that it had caught my attention. I bought my Inferno used off of a lefty offline so the track area was fresh. I drilled the ball stacked with the pin directly to the right of the ring finger. This ball works best on medium oil conditions for me. Although I have not tried adjusting the out of box coverstock the ball tends to skid to much for me on heavier conditions. Really would love to find a new in box Inferno to keep for later down the road. Although this is not my favorite ball in my arsenal, it is pretty darn close.

I bought this ball used on the internet for very cheap. I just had to see why everybody raved about this ball. I mean, I've seen a ton of bowlers use one, but I wanted to try it for myself. Let me tell you, this ball is incredible. Just incredible. Rolls long and has an undying backend reaction that melts your heart when you throw your first ball of the game. Just destroys the pins. Flattens out very nicely to pick up 10 pins No need for a spare ball anymore. Well.. until the lanes dry out of course

i just recently sanded the ball down for the heavier oil conditions that "The One" cant handle. i came acroos one of those conditions tonite. i threw a 137 with the one on my first game. then i made a ball change. i brought this ball out first being my first time using it since i sanded it. i shot a 230 and a 219 to keep my average above 190. i threw the ball up the five board and it made a smooth movement to the pocket and just crushed the pins. im glad i took this ball with me tonite because if not my average would have dropped dramatically. im just glad that i got my average to move up.
