Brunswick BVP Rampage Bowling Ball

(14 reviews) Write a Review

The BVP Rampage combines a pearlized PowerKoil 18 coverstock with the proven BVP medium-RG core system to create a ball reaction that fits between the Nemesis and Punisher. With its pearlized surface the Rampage delivers more length and more angularity than the Nemesis and its aggressive PowerKoil 18 coverstock delivers more total hooking action than the Punisher. The new BVP Rampage will send the pins into a frenzy. Get the power of BVP. Go on a Rampage. Out of the Box: With its High Gloss Polish finish the BVP Rampage will match up well on medium-dry to dry conditions. When dulled: The BVP Rampage’s hooking action will increase and its arc will become more even, creating a better match-up for oily lane conditions and help blend the over/under reactions seen on wet/dry lane conditions. Reaction Setup: The BVP Rampage can be drilled using the standard drilling techniques developed for two-piece balls, see the included instructions for reaction characteristics and layout data

its a great ball for medium to light oil. i have mine drilled for a midlane reaction and to snap at the last second. You can throw it in hevay but you wont get the snap or movement the ball will sit. Definetly dont shoot single pin spares with this, the only way to do it is if you get lucky. overall its a great ball that moves like a monster, and it hits the pocket perfectly. but if you come over the top you are just setting yourself up for a gutter ball so be careful. also i would recomend this to someone who throws between 12 and 14 mph. i found thats the best speed for it to really snap .<s

Its a ball that has a great hit if thrown properly and if the lanes are dry. I know for crankers its a great ball. I threw a few BVP brunswick balls and i noticed the polished balls are better. What i do is keep this ball in the car in case i am face with dry house or wood lanes. Just leave in the car. I remember a bowler telling me all balls are good, you just have to play the lanes. Like i said its a ball one keeps in the car. I been to a few tournaments that i was bowling in the afternoon and they been bowled on .( i was the last squad) Yep the ball came to the rescue!

This ball is great for the price. It has a heavy roll. If you are a cranker you might not like it if your are looking for a dry lane ball on wood lanes. Syn. lanes it has great skid and hook on the back. OK ball on wood Gret ball on SYN lanes. Put a high polish on the ball and it will skid for days without loosing its backend reaction. The Vapor Zone is a much better dry lane ball so don't let the price fool you. dfghdfghdafiughfearhjgdjkbfgjdbfgjkhbsdfg kjhbgfdlkjahbf lhjkbgdfjkhdlkjfg lhkjfdgljhdlkfjg iuaehrwoiueyrorwet iuhgfhdbxcnv liuhyeru8gr lsiufhgluhrtluihwrt liushrgiuhwreliughf liuhrilughliurthgliurhtg liuhrfghjfd fhdiusoew giotru8yort tiry iu uyerg riuygreut biurehituhr giurgut iouty iwutqwe7 7ydfiert igti8ur hgadfget kygsdvfyf kuydgfrmn fiuyegrfuiwye uywegfuygefugr

This ball rolls very nice, stores alot of energy, and aways throws pins around. Great ball for a cheap price. At first I did not think this ball would hook this much, punched it out pretty strong, had to put a flare reducing hole and polish it. I know alot of people in town that love this ball with original factory finish, I think I would have liked it more if I wouldnt have drilled it as strong, but that is not the balls fault. Overall it is a great ball for the price. I would recommend this ball. Another great ball by the Big B!!!<scri

I've been using this bowling ball for 2 years now and it's been great. It's got great hitting power to knock those pins down. Follow-through is also good. However, I wouldn't recommend this ball for lane that are too dry. It will cause too much of a hook at the back end. The Brunswick Punisher is another ball that I have in my arsenal. Also a very good ball to have. It has a little less hook potential than the Rampage. Don't load up your wrist too much, otherwise the ball will hook too much at the back end. http://www.thebowlingcoach.com<scr

this ball was a great addition to my bowling arsenal. i already a bvp punisher so the two make a fantastic dry lane tandem. while the rampage is mor aggressive than the punisher i have found that both are excellent choices to use on the driest of lanes to medium oiled lanes. this ball is a great ball for a variety of throwing styles and ball speeds. the price makes this ball a must have for any bowler looking to spike up the average a few pins. my rampage was drilles for a long skid snap so if i maintain my average ball speed (19mph) the ball will slide for about 45-50 feet then make an insane drive to the pocket and leave me some thundering strikes. if you need a dry lane ball this one is for you.

this ball has power. it can easily be compared to the doom raw hammer. when i play over the second arrow the ball can go all the way to the gutter and snap back with such force. its not a very smooth hook but this makes for more interesting bowling. every shot i threw with that ball hit the pocket. the ball does not play very well in the middle of the lane though. the spot my ball normally hits strikes (5-6 boards left of the gutter) this ball over hooks. maybe its the way i throw but this ball demands to be played on the gutter. and it will come back everytime.

The overall review is the ball just doesn't have enough power on the light shots, lots of splits and 9 pins. Just not agressive enough. Out of the box it hardly broke at all, I had to use green scotch brite and completely take the shine off. Our hosue uses light to med. oil and is combination board and synthetic. I gave the ball to my son to use he is more of a kranker type bowler, he used it for 3 weeks and i told him if he liked it i would give it to him....his reply.."no thanks"

If you put some forward roll on this ball and let it out across the lane, it finishes with an amazing follow through the pins. Very seldom leave ten pins with this ball. I see a lot of 9 pins but very often have messengers that take them out. I have no dislikes about this ball if I throw it like this, but It would be terrible for a one ball arsenal because it depends on hand position and a strong line too much. I like to play down and in with it, but there is too much force there for me to keep it in the pocket on every shot. If you try this on heavier oil, its hard to get it to the pocket. It's great on the inside on a heavier pattern though. Try to keep this ball well polished. You always hear that you should clean your equipment, but this one becomes noticeable after just a few games.

Wow, i got this ball at xmas and have brought my average up 15 pins! i entered a tournament a week after geting it and came second! i had my best game ever(276). this ball has a greater hook rating than it says. i cant wait to see what new ball brunswick brings out for the bvp line. it just goes to show that you dont need to spend 300 plus dollars(canadian) for a good performance ball. i have heard that some people say this ball is unpredictable but so far i have found it very predictable. the only downside i have found is when i bowl in my saturday night league which thends to be quite dry is it hooks way too much so i do not recomend this ball for dry at all.,

BVP Rampage all i can say is the best mid range ball on the market. This ball has become my benchmark ball. I used this ball for almost 2 mth. and my average have been brought up by 30 Pins. After my igniter have gone, This is the best ball i have. It provided a hook reaction that i wanted it to be. With this ball 200 game is so easy and this ball can be used to pick up spares too. i would recommend all the ppl out there who is looking for a ball for medium oil on synthetic lanes. The best Ball ever. I used this ball to bowl my school competition and won quite a few trophies since then.

I haven't used Brunswick equipment in quite some time. I was very disappointed in their Monster line. This ball, however, might be the beginning of a new association for me with Brunswick. Lately, the house I regularly bowl at must be experiencing a cash shortage. I think they're trying to save money by running the lane conditioning machine dry. With this ball I was able to keep the ball in play well enough to throw a respectible 673 without throwing my shoulder out in the process. The only drawback I found was when I went to another house that must be more financially solvent. At first, even in the more heavily oiled condition (what I consider Medium to medium/heavy), the Rampage performed great but after about 12 to 15 frames the carrydown got the better of it and it slid right by the breakpoint. If you regularly bowl on light oil, this might just be the ball you need.

This is very good look ball than BVP Punisher previsouly.Pretty shinny on the way to pin area.Easy to catch up others eye focus on you. I had this ball drilled with very common label leverage. And it works very good on the mid-heavy condition. Not pretty good as advertised...light oil.I had tried several shots with Ranpage in light condition pattern. The ball just roll out in front & unleash the energy in a second at dry back.Left lot of weir spilits... My suggestion is to put it as spare weapon once you have competition with 38' oil pattern. It's nice selection for the beginning several games & then you can shift into other particle choice for carry down conditions for upcoming 3-4 games. I have no idea that I should recommend it or not.But it is a nice ball actually.
