After throwing this ball for a week or two, I've decided to post a review about it. I had the ball drill with pin above ring finger, cg kicked out, and a hole drilled on the side http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l290/crusher267658/My%20Bowling%20Balls/DSCN0880.jpg. Ball has quite a bit of back end. It curves a bit mroe than I thought it would. All in all, this is a great ball. The ball hits hard too. It carries the light hits ok. I haven't left many ten pins with it yet. This ball looks awesome going down the lane. I got it used for $40 plus plugging and drilled which ended up to be around $90. It was well worth it.

THIS BALL WAS MY LAST RESORT OR BRUNSWICK I LIKE SOME OF THE OLDER STUFF AND I TRIED EVERY INFERNO AND CAME UP EMPTY THEN I PICKED THIS ONE UP ON THE CONSIGNMENT RACK FOR 80 BUCKS NEVER DRILLED SO INSTEAD OF BUYING AT THE INFERNO PRICE. THIS BALL I USED FOR ALMOST TO YEARS UNTILL IT JUST TUCKERED OUT ON ME THIS IS A EXTREMELY VERSTILE BALL IT WAS THE ONLY BALL I HAD TO PLAY 4TH ARROW IN SOME TOURNEMENTS WHICH WAS NICE I LOVE IT I WANT TO GET ANOTHER ONE THIS BALL GIVES A EXTREME CRISP REACTION AND IT READS THE MIDLANE WELL AND EXPOLODES ON THE BACK OVERALL GREAT BALL.

the ball is great in the fronts. Its really a great ball. I personally havent had a this ball that fit my hand good but i threw my grandfathers and it was insane. Beside it hooks too much for me. I love my radar Lock. This ball will help anyone raise an average. My grandfather was at 200 even last year bowling with a messenger and this year he at 211. thats eleven pins just off a ball change thats good. I wouldn't bother with the newer infernos. They were just made because of the success of the Infernos before. The radicals really in consistent and the total is totally a nightmare. you'll leave corners with the new infernos.

I bought this ball about 18 months ago and it made a tremendous difference to my game. My score's and confidence both improved. This was my stock ball for the last season or so and matched up well on the house fresh & the medium tournament condition. Depending upon the condition the ball can be played out and back or straight up and reads the lane well, it recovers well in the mid lane and boy when it hit's it hit's . I'm a tweener and generally at lot of my strikes are pretty flush, this ball gave me the carry of a cranker. No longer was I the butt of "soft hand" jokes from my team mates. When new, the ball seems to know only one thing.. the way to the hole! This ball was great for a good 6-9 months (bear in mind I play 2 leagues a week, practice aroun 6-12 games a week and play tournaments every few months) and then it started to die. I had my pro-shop try and rejuvinate it and it worked for a while but the time it stays "alive" seems to be reducing all the time. It's c

i dont know where to start... the ball doesnt move more than 6boards unless thrown less than 8mph. its not the drill or the ball because i bough two and had them re-drilled about 3 or 4 times each to see if it was the layout used... NOPE still not more than 6boards.... i did however shoot 794 with the ball, however that was a 9 pin tourney... this ball sux, dont buy it. if someone pays u for it, consider it, otherwise stay away and buy a black widow, an agent or a special agent. sorry to do this but i need words... brunswick sucks brunswick sucks brunswick sucks brunswick sucks

I am left handed and i like to play kindof a "bump" shot. i throw it a bit to the outside and i need a ball that will recover. this ball does a great job at that. if i dump it outside my mark, itll pop in, but if i pull it inside itll hold. has great breaks (even though thats not always the ball). i love how i can throw it up a dry shot and not have to worry about throwing a cranker shot, but then on a heavier oil shot i can go more straight up and it will still get a little hook in there. pretty much my favorite ball. i plan on buying another one, maybe more than that.

This ball has a great hook potenial and it hits hard. I would recomend this ball to anyone who wants a decently performing ball that will give them a constant and predictable hook. Over all the balls ive thrown and seen used this might be one of the best overall balls. Although it is very old and the technology is not the best it still holds out on the newer balls. I use this ball on a medium level oil lanes mostly, but i have a league in which heavy oil is used, and sadly i havent used the ball on them yet, but i have used it on similar lane types( all PBA patterns). It does hook more on dryer lanes if you dont put too many revs on it, and if you do...good luck.

i guess reading all these reviews i was expecting a hook monster, but instead i got a med oil very predictable ARCING ball.there are a lot of people saying how much backend this ball has but i just didnt see it.with that said i still LOVE this ball.once i realized what i had i found the perfect shot for this ball and scored huge with it.play the center of the lane out to about the 10 board ,let it arc back and watch the pins fly.very predictable breakpoint i mean every time.maybe the most accurate ball ive ever thrown.

Awesome ball that i use everytime i bowl. I bought it to use on heavy oil lanes and it does its job. I have a Storm Eraser Banshee also that was my first high performance ball and i decided i needed a ball for heavy oil and i found it. I just bought a Black Widow yesterday to back up my Absolute Inferno. This ball hits the pins with incredible impact. You can really tell when you hit your mark as the pins look like they blew up. It leaves a good bit of ten pins, but if i leave more than 3 on solid pocket shots, i always take a half step back and that does the trick.

Absolute-ly great ball! This is the most forgiving, most predictable ball I've ever owned! I'm not a great bowler, averaging around 196, but in the first 18 games with this, I hit 700 twice and 692 once. I'm a pretty basic bowler; left-handed over the second arrow, straight up follow through at around 15 mph and this ball is just the coolest thing on the market! A relaxed, easy shot... watch it roll over the mark then close your eyes and listen for the crash because it WILL be there! When conditions begin to change, a slight adjustment of my lead foot about of a board or two will bring this thing right back into the honey hole and I never lose a thing. As a lefty, it's been interesting to note how easy it is for me to cover the 7-pin with this ball as well. No need for a plastic "spare ball". When I begin to get tapped a couple of times in a row it's only been a matter of being more mindful of ball speed. This ball hits so hard that more speed seems to clear the pins off th

I would suggest to every bowler in America to buy this ball. I work in a pro shop and i recomend this ball to everyone that comes into the shop. The only thing to avoid is to not throw this ball on a dry oil pattern. But any average bowler would figure that out after a few games wth it. I myself have 2 one to get down the lane and have a little more backend while the other one was a little more forgiving if the lanes were a little tight. The absolute iferno comes from a history from the classic inferno ball line and it will be just as good now as it is now in years to come.

this was my first inferno so i was a little nervous as to how this ball would react for me. i never had anything to worry about. this ball has such a dependable reaction on so many different shots and on so many different lane surfaces. cuts through carrydown and oily boards to drive hard to the pocket. i have thrown some good games with this ball. a great addition to any bowlers list of wants or owns. great color to the ball also. very dpendable long lasting ball at a good price. the surface is also very easy to read and this helps with any possible surface changing needs.

I got this ball just drilled for my state tourney, and am I glad I did. I used it all day at the team part. This ball is drilled straight label and I just love it. Nice good roll, very readable. I would have used it the next day for singles and doubles but the lanes were oil reverse block and I couldnt get it down the lane enough. I think if I would have had it polished I would have scored with it on that day, with the ruff buff I just couldnt get it to stay on the right side or down the lane enough. I just got my scorchin inferno will post later this week what I think about that one, but I am very excited to try that one out after this one

For the first time since I was using my old HPH, I have a ball that I can play inside the 4th arrow with and swing with authority. The one thing I like most about this ball is the fact it doesn't die. No matter where I have tried to play this ball on the lane, it hooks back in and has power to spare. So far I have only used it on a house shot and have found that while it's not that bad, it's not as good on dry lanes. I will be using this ball next week in my PBA and Sport Leagues and will update / edit

Fantastic, complements my intense and my scorchin infernos the best, cant say enough about this ball. I have this ball drilled max top weight to go very long and snap at the back end to the pocket and wow.. can play many shots, being left handed, can play down and in over 5 board down anin when oil is there, can swing it from 17 out to 8 and back, only thing cant go cross lane after 7. You can set this ball down in the oil playing down and in and it gets thru the heads and explodes. With no oil you can swing it out as far as you want and depending on drilling will hit like a tank. or with no oil add speed to it and hit will turn up and go thru the pins.. LIke how it keeps pins low to the deck, l carry more light hits then ever and high hits it expodes the pins.. Buy one soon

Overall its a great ball and lives up to the very famous Inferno name i can't wait for the years to come and what brunswick's Inferno name can bring us next. If I could only afford it my whole arsenal of equipement would be the Inferno's. The Absolute Inferno that I own is drilled for leverage and not to much side weight. The condition at our centre has only just changed so now I am actually able to use it. before there wasn't enough oil and the ball just bleed all its energy out to soon. We have wood lanes and now at least we have 26 feet of oil and a 35 foot buff.

This is another great ball from Brunswick and another great addition to the Inferno series. This ball in my opinion is works on heavier oil patterns but you just would have to play a straighter line. The Ruff Buff finish is perfect on this ball and has made me want to try the finish on some of my other balls. The only thing that I don't like about this ball is that it soaked up oil so fast that you'll be amazed at how much the ball just dies. Maintaining the proper maintence to keep your balls clean (no pun intended) is always needed but this ball threw that concept out of the window. I am considering purchasing another Absolute Inferno but am afraid that that one will die just as fast as my first one.

This ball is pretty good... it's a very versatile ball.... I thought it was dead until I saw a few of the Wichita State guys had it sanded... so I thought I'd give it a try since the ball was pretty useless anyway.... This ball gained back all of its hitting power after I sanded it.... It's not the greatest ball ever made... because it's not black and doesn't have a big R on the side and isn't made by columbia.... but that's another story...... but it's a good solid piece of equipment... if you put it in the right bowler's hands he's got the power to throw some game at you Good luck and great bowling, brunswick had a great line with the infernos... let's hope they keep it up

this ball was average didnt hook the way i thught it would hates oil color was ok leaves alot i meen ALOT of tens i used it for about 100 games , everytime u throw it the ball comes back like if u dipped it in OIL alot of oil streaks everytime ball comes back form the ball return i reccomend u do something wit the coverstock because RUFF BUFF is no good on med. to oil lane conditions . i would reccomend the new scorchin inferno because it is kinda a remake of the ultimate which was a GREAT BALL . if u bowl on synthetic like i do i would not recoomend and absolute inferno , on synthetic i owuld reccomend a scorchin or a ultimate inferno .

Absolute Awesome, Tracks out nice and hits very hard with great pin action. Shot my first 300 in Dec and one 2 weeks ago. Have shot 4 700 seris with a 797.bowl 4 times a week and have been carring a 199 avg. up from a 185. Very forgiving if i pushed out to far would actually come back even harder. Great ball would tell everyone to carry one in the bag. Absolute Awesome, Tracks out nice and hits very hard with great pin action. Shot my first 300 in Dec and one 2 weeks ago. This balls is the best thing since sliced bread. I mean, come on. How can they pump out so many balls and still get everyone to work just fantasic? Its simple little tweaks here and there. The first time I bowled with this ball I shot a 742 out of the box in my Mens Singles Classic League. Strung the front 8 and left a nine pin to leave me a 279. I was miffed but it happens. Then 2 months later I pulled it out again and shot a 297. I know, it shoulda been a 300. But I got nervous and pulled it.....about 5 boards. None the less, its a must have addition to any of your Inferno line.

if you can handle this ball then buy it. you wont regret it att all. 240.00 is a great price at any pro shop for it! i would of paid 440.00 for this ball. that is how good this ball truely is! cant wait for more brunswick products to come out that are as good as this one!!! i shot 700 for the 1st time with this ball then the next week i shot even better 700 . This ball ends up to be 2nd on the best from brunswick only to the one and only ultimate inferno. it give it a run for its money but just gets edged out!

I got this ball used (pretty good shape) in a trade for another ball I owned. Fingers were pitch-plugged, and thumb plugged and redrilled. Pin below the ring finger, with the CG slightly kicked out. Ended up with 7/8 oz. side weight. Ball went long, and made a smooth arc to the pins. This was not the reaction I was looking for. Took the ball, and drilled out the weight hole, to bring the side weight down to 5/16 oz. Wow, what a difference. The ball now went into a roll about 6 feet sooner, and now had a more agressive arc towards the pins. This adjustment "opened" up the lane alot more than I expected, and pin carry was increased noticably. This ball reads the midlane better than any other ball I have owned.

Ball spec: Pin above ringfinger, like brunswick drilling 2L. Avarage speed about 17 mph 22-23 revs. This ball just suks, i got this ball about 4 months ago, and what a crappy ball. I am playing in a center with all wood surface, not much oil on a refinish lane. 37 ft using an old silver nullit. when i first got this ball it seams to overhook. i got it about 3 days before i went to a turnement. and at the time it seams okay. after i have played 8-10 games it was dead. did not move 5" on the lane. had to play 1 arrow and play on light/dry lanes.

Love this powerful ball for heavy-medium oil condition. Wish I could use it more. Very few houses use enough oil to be able to get into a comfort zone with this ball. I did have to polish the ball
