I bowl in a international house were the shot veries from day to day. most of the time im playing inside the 4th arrow swinging out to 10. when the heads are shot and i have some carry down i can count on this ball to make it smooth through the heads and still give me an awesome finish on the backend destroying all pins in its path. If you can get your hands on one of these i would highly recommend getting one you will not be dissapointed. I really wish brunswick would comback with BTV and re-establish quantum cause if a ball realesed ten years ago can still compete today imagine with the technologly today what they could come up with plese brunswick please bring quantum back!!!!!!

This ball has always been great for me. When I first got it way back when my "hand" was not as strong (bit of a stroker) as it is today and this ball was great on the dry, now I've got a better shot (now I'm a tweener) this ball has really come alive. Providing the condition matches up this ball can be played from down-town to the suburbs and back again or straight up the boards - this ball will do it all. Hard hitting it reads the lane well and has great roll and generally good carry when it gets there. I don't know anyone who has bowled a raven and not loved it. A great "get out of trouble" ball. Love it!

This is the 3rd time I've owned this ball. I found this one online, new in box about a year ago. I have it drilled 60 degrees with the pin 3.5" from my axis point. This ball has amazing flare and has a very strong arc once it hits the dry boards. Depending on my release, I have had as much as 6.5" of flare on this ball. The Powerkoil 18 coverstock is versatile. With a matte finish, this ball is all control but doesn't roll-out. Sanded, it can handle oily side of medium. Polished, it gains about 3 feet in length, has more snap, comes in at a great angle, but it still remains controllable. The only issue when the ball is polished is that it will go through the break-point if thrown too hard. As the track on the lanes dry out, all you really need to do is move left and hit the same break-point and the ball will typically get back to the pocket. I'd give anything to see what this core could do with an activator coverstock.

    this is a great classic, i dont know why they discontiuned the quantum line, there crazy. this ball is great on medium oil conditions. it should be the first ball you pick out of your bag to try out. backend is very strong and finishes hard like an icon. well at least mine. its carry's great, just maybe minor little 7 pins (im a lefty) but otherwise its great. m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m mm

THIS ONE OF THE BEST BALL I HAVE IT BUT NOT THE BEST ON THE WORLD THIS BAL HAVE A GOOD REACTION AND HITS WITH A LOT OF POWER ITS LIKE THE FIRE QUANTUM BUT THIS COLOR ITS VERY VERY AWFUL I ALSO THINK THIS BALL ITS GOOD FOR SPORTS CONDITION ITS TO SIMILAR TO THE SPORT BOWLING BALL FROM COLUMBIA JUST THE SAME BALL BUT THIS BALL ITS FROM BRUNSWICK I HATE THIS BALL IN DRY BACKEND IF THE OIL ISNT AT 35 OR MORE FEET THE BALL ITS THE WORST I ALSO RECOMENDED THE FUSION MONTER HOOK ITS A GREAT BALL BUT IT ALSO DISCOUNTINUED

Originally got this one back in January (ebay is a wonderful place). Have it drilled label leverage. This ball has become my number one. Nice combination of skid, roll, and snap. I can usually play between 10 and 15, but I'm also not afraid to go even deeper with it. Okay, the details. Two weeks after I got this one punched, rolled my second ever 300, playing 3rd arrow with a bit of swing. Ball has good recovery as long as I don't pitch it into the gutter. This ball is always first out of the bag. I can use it on all but the thickest oil and all but the driest of lanes. Very versatile. I was able to use the Raven for most of my time in Knoxville, had a doubles series of 256-203-279 for a 738 series. Ball would just keep hitting, no matter how light or heavy I hit the pocket. I was able to play LEFT of 4th arrow until it just got too stinkin' dry. This ball has replaced the Ebonite Matrix Dynasty as best ball I've ever thrown. I didn't think that was possible. I only wish that Brunswic

Sweet ass ball!!! 300!!! great ball! Very highly recccomended!! I would just like to say that if they wouldn't have discontinued this awesome ball I would have bought myself a few of them.. My game have improved 24 pins from the beginning of the season this year. But if I stay with this ball I am destined to get my 700 and 800 series. On Feb 5. I got my first 300 game and I am 16yrs of age. Brunswick...bring back this ball.. Don't be stupid! I am joining a summer league and sticking with this ball is important if I WANT TO WIN!

I would recommend it to anyone. Bowling style really doesn't matter. Ball goes long and hooks hard. I can't think of anyone that couldn't benefit from it. This ball does develop a pronounced track after about 30 games, so frequent polishing is helpful to maintain consistancy. This product far exceeded any of my expectations and was my first Brunswick product. I have always used track in the past and I would be hard pressed to go back now. Hopefully this product line makes a comeback so more people can enjoy the experience I have. I can't wait to try another style quantum.

Well, it was a great ball until it cracked right at the pin and around the fingertips, i had not even owned the ball a year yet either. i check to see if i could get another one but the distributor that i went through did not have any more so i couldnt. I got a storm X factor instead :) The Quantum though was a great ball. i had it drilled to go long through the heads and still break hard in the backends. Hmmm if it had not cracked i would still be throwing it today. YEAH for ME :)

Wow I just got this ball tonight. The Pro shop owner drilled it up for me. I used it in my League. Bowled a 200 with this beautiful ball! What great reaction this ball had rolling down the lane. Struck the pins hard and very clean. Left the 6,10 and 10 pin if I threw it too far in. This is going to be the start of a beautiful friendship between this ball and me. Can not wait to use it more often! Hopefully I can get more Quantum products. Brunswick needs to bring Quantum back into bowling to take out the compitition!

well this ball in short terms, is a combat zone, with a fire quantum core..... this ball is sitting in a pro shop in norfolk va. and probably won't be there when i get home. since i found this site, i have been on it nearly 5 hours a day! since i can't bowl(read my profile), i have decided that i will learn as much about this amazing game, and the equiptment that i can. i can honestly say that this is my favorite site on the internet. it is now my homepage. MAJOR PROPS> TO THE MAN WHO MADE THIS SITE!!!!! what i have learned in the past week and a half will probably raise my average from 220 to 230 when i get home from this cruise. the information that i have learned has taught me that everything i knew about bowling balls in the last 2 years is wrong. the best peice of advice that i can givesomeone is: OLD BALLS STRIKE!!!! & OLD BALLS ARE BETTER THAN NEW ONES!!!!!
