Brunswick Quantum Leap Bowling Ball

Technology pays off. With the lowest priced original Quantum ball in history. That could also be the most consistent and forgiving reactive ball in the marketplace.

Quantum Leap Black Sand's reactive cover stock is less sensitive to changes up front, with a strong change in direction, and aggressive entry over the widest range of head oil conditions. The payoff is BTV's vernal mushroom core, which creates a heavy rolling, strong hooking action.

I got my quantum leap from a thrift store and it is right handed with the pin 3-3/8"layout with the heavy spot towards grip center and it is the second highest flaring layout and for me being a lefty speed dominant it is awesome with it's out of box finish at 320 grit sand paper and it is a 1 inch layout for me and on old wood with my league coming in while the league before is getting done so we have carry down and never know what we will run into but me personally bowling with 2 other leftys this is a perfect ball. Now I wish they had a pearl version of this and I will get it in a snap.

I remember when these balls first came out. These we're the top of the Quantum pile. Noone could control these balls. I finally got a couple about 6 months ago. Drilled one label and the other for max hook. neither ball would hook for me. The ball would hit the dry and it just wouldnt roll up at all. The ball had zero drive. The ball did do somthing that i liked... IT HIT LIKE AN A-BOMB!!!! I'd hate to give this ball such a low score but it didnt do much. One good thing was since it didnt hook this thing kicked sport shot butt. ball held the middle real well and destroyed pins.

I bought this ball NIB for the great sum of $60.00 what a bargin! I had this ball drilled for heavy oil and it does the job just fine... a great compliment to the forest green quantum. I just cant say enough about the quantum line they just dont make a bad ball. This ball has a very even and smooth ark to the pocket in it's factory finish which is just perfect for heavy oil. I believe I bought the ball at www.bowlingindex.com and they still had some left. In a nut shell you really can't go wrong with this ball I mean c'mon it's a Quantum!!!
