AZO Blue Fire Bowling Ball

(5 reviews) Write a Review
Middle distance ball, gets down the lane with acceleration when changing direction to the pocket, same core as "Red Fire". Blue Fire ball hooks 5-6 feet closer than "Red Fire designed for medium to wet heads. Can be polished to delay hooking point.

My Blue Fire is drilled 1:30 label, is 16# with a 2-3"pin out. This ball gets down the lane very well for a light load particle, and has a nasty backend to boot. I used this ball on fresh shots because it is too strong for any used up, short, or open patterns. It also reminds me of the TKO Contender in every aspect of the sense. I can swing a medium pattern or straighten up a heavier one. There is not alot you can't do with this ball as long as you know when to use it.

i gave his ball a 4 1/2 X 4 1/2 stack drill, and then gave it a coat of polish using ebonites 800 grit factory finish polish, to give the ball some length, just to see what it had i took the ball out on a carried down condition, and this ball had no problem getting up and turning in oil, i have found that the more oil it finds the easier it is to find the pocket. And then once it finds the pocket i know that their is a good chance the i am going to see all the pins fall.

The backends where I bowl at are always dry, so I used "Powerhouse" Partical Polish on my Blue Fire straight from the box. I bowled two practice games to get used to the ball. That evening I averaged 244 in leauge. I will invest in another Blue Fire and keep it more like the box finish. Overall this is a ball that clears the fronts and midlane with good control and finishes with a very powerful roll. The pins don't fly up and around when they're hit, but stay low and the carry is good. I'm seriously looking for a 300 game and/or an 800 series with this ball soon.

Holds in oil, hook a ton on dry. Great for bowlers than hook the ball and put a lot of revs on it. Also good for bowlers that play outside the 10 board.<scrip

Good on sport type shots as well as house shots. Better on drier lane conditions to maximize hook and carry. Keep it tight or play from 18 to 5... You dont have to throw the ball perfectly to hit the pocket.
