The Storm Bolt doesn’t just identify a Storm bowling ball. It represents over three decades of tradition, a commitment to quality, and a promise to always roll better than ever before. The covers are robust. The cores are exact. Because when the scores add up, the thrill of sending all ten back tells you that it’s worth it.

Storm Revenant review
See stats in profile. I drilled my REVENANT up 5 x 4 x 2 and have thrown it with a light 3000 abralon pad on the surface. I compared it to some other pearls I throw frequently which are the DARK CODE and PHAZE V. I have throw the REVENANT on a couple of sport patterns like Kegal Broadway and Kegel Winding Road. On Broadway, it went sideways at the start until the lanes settled down. All of the pearls above did this as they all have light 2000 or 3000 on them and something with less engine/cover were better plays. On Winding Road and our House pattern, the REVENANT was much better. I get good push down the lane when the fronts started to bog the DARK CODE down. REVENANT was a good look and when it went away, moving to the PHAZE V was a great compliment as it got further to the break point. I tried taking my hand out of the DARK CODE and just rolling it up the back and it was still too much ball. Put this one in your bag if you want something that will get down the lane easier but still has enough smooth shape to get those pesky corners out.

Revenant by Roto Grip Rick
Storm Revenant: R3S pearl reactive coverstock with the Vector Core Layouts: 60 x 6 x 70 at 2000 grit polished and 60 x 1 ½ x 55 box condition – Reacta Gloss My specs: Ball speed 15+, Rev rate 425, PAP 4 and up 13/16 Used on several different lane conditions and surfaces with both layouts. We first drilled the 60 x 6 x 70 and I noticed on SPL, there was not very much motion on the backend, so I tried a couple different surface changes and decided to park the ball until I got a chance tried it on different lanes. Then I tried out the 60 x 1 ½ x 55 on the SPL and as expected with the shorter pin to pap the ball read earlier and gave me a much better look on SPL. Took the 6 in pin ball to a center with well worn HPL and a lighter volume house pattern and that ball really reminded me of a Hy-Road, just a smidge smoother front to back and kept the track area in play for me. 4-6 boards right with my feet the 1 ½ in ball had a very similar look on the backend. Took both to a center with WOOD lanes and realized while it is important to have some longer pin to pap layouts – the 6 in pin ball was AMAZING. Kept the lane in play all through the night of practicing. 1 ½ pin ball did rev up because of the layout, but still had plenty of get up and go in the backend. With the 6in pin ball, the straighter I play, the better my carry is on WOOD and HPL. Both balls will serve a purpose for me when I hit up some upcoming tournaments. One of them will be the ball I start with just depends on the pattern length and what lane surface the centers will have. The Revenant is a great ball for any level of bowler. I have seen 2 handers, strokers, crankers, and anything in between use the Revenant at several matchmaker events and they are one of the most popular balls being purchased – even with the recent release of the Storm iQ Tour Ruby. Thanks to the crew at Bowlers' Supply, Inc, Roto Grip, Colony Park Lanes and Vise Inserts for all the support and assistance! Remember to Bowl Up a Storm! #SquadRG #Coolwick #ViseInserts

Revenant
Revenant - Ball Specs Cover Stock: R3S Pearl Coverstock Finish: Reacta Gloss Core: Vector Core Layout: 70 x 4 1/2 x 40 RG: 2.54 Differential: 0.050 Review The Revenant is the newest ball in Storm’s Thunder line. For me the Revenant fits in between the Hyroad and Trend series. The R3S Pearl Coverstock paired with Vector Core gives the Revenant a clean look through the front of the lane, allowing the ball to save energy on the backend for continuous striking action. I tested this ball on a 43 feet typical house pattern and 43 feet challenge pattern. As mid to low rev player l was able to stand right of center on the fresh and as far left as 33 board on the burn without losing any carrying power. This ball will be in my bag for league and tournaments. Order one from your local pro shop today! My ball review videos are posted on YouTube channel Stanley Waite.
