Hustle RIP
The Hustle RIP is the reincarnation of the Hustle INK. If you liked that medium RG, ultra stable symmetrical shape with a cleaner solid cover, then the RIP is for you. The Hustle RIP strikes the perfect balance of controlling the breakpoint and storing energy so that you don't sacrifice any carry. The RIP is perfect for medium to dry lane conditions, especially when there is a cliff to blend out. The Hustle RIP is essentially a baby IQ Tour Solid, and for the price point, you can't find better performance.

Hustle RIP
The old reliable Hustle Line is coming out with another banger! Introducing the new Hustle RIP. The RIP has the same core featured in all the Hustle’s wrapped with the VTC Solid Reactive Coverstock. With this ball being a solid and polished, it gives the bowler an option that can be clean on lighter volumes, but have enough cover to still dig into the oil and have a predictable motion downlane. I am in love with this ball. It reminds me a lot of the old Hustle Ink but with a little more pop downlane. I can throw this ball firm and in front of me, or I can slow down and open up the lane when the lanes are dryer and the ball absolutely destroys the pins. This ball, like every hustle, will not disappoint. Make sure to get yours at your local Storm VIP Pro shop.

Roto Grip Hustle RIP review by Ethan Fiore
The Hustle RIP has the Hustle Core and VTC Solid Coverstock. As I am a big fan of the Hustle line, I had to try this one. The motion it makes is not what I’d expect out of a low end ball. Very predictable with a lot of down lane motion makes it easy to put up big scores. Since it was released, I have talked highly of this ball. This is the bang for your buck!! Hustle RIP Review
Ball Specs: Roto Grip Hustle RIP Cover stock Solid Reactive Weight Block Hustle™ Core (Symmetrical) Color Royal Imperial Purple Finish Reacta Gloss Layout 4.5 x 4 x 1.5 Pin Buffer Bowler Specs: Right Hand. PAP 5” Over 1/2 up Rev Rate 300. Tilt 20. Rotation 50. Speed at release 17 Review: It no secret that I am a Hustle fan. The Hustle line was designed to be predictable with great performance. The New Hustle RIP was made with the popular Hustle INK in mind. I really did not use the INK so I can’t do a fair comparison but I hear the RIP is an improvement on the INK. I drilled the M-M and RIP at the same time with the same layout and threw them at a few centers together and I saw a big difference between the two. The balls have the same core and same Reacta Gloss finish but the RIP is fitted with a solid cover and the M-M is pearl. Normally I would have thought the Solid RIP would hook more but it was weaker and much smoother for me while testing in three different houses. I expect this is due to the solid cover being less responsive to friction. The RIP is a beautiful purple color with gold engraving that looks outstanding. While testing I could play the drier part of the lane without worrying about over reaction. The RIP just simply walked to the pocket and went through it. I was a good bit right with my line compared to the M-M. When the lanes get fried or tore up I think this could be my go to ball. I will put this ball above my Surge and below my M-M in total hook. This ball should be a great choice for a newer bowler or a killer in the hands of a high rev or no thumb bowler. Summary: The Hustle RIP is a beautiful looking ball. This ball provides excellent control on dry lanes. This ball should work great for the two hand or high rev style. Review
I found both these balls to be a great bang for your buck. Low price entry point although with plenty of performance the Hustles will be excellent for those lower to medium oil conditions. The solid provided a pretty smooth reaction. Finished with a polish this ball is clean through the front part of the lane and provides plenty of predictability down lane without overreacting. I have a pin down layout on the solid which allows me to keep the shapes and angles in front of me and play more up the lane. As that begins to fade I can transition to the pinup M-M to get the ball to see the lane sooner and allow me to open my angles up. I really enjoyed both these balls and can see myself using them as my weakest balls in competition. Roto Grip Hustle RIP – WWRD 6/23/23
Cover: VTC Solid Reactive Core: Hustle RG: 2.53 RG. Diff.: 0.030 Finish: Reacta Gloss Roto Grip’s new Hustle RIP is a Solid Symmetrical piece that is good for Light-Medium Oil conditions. This is a controllable piece with the Medium RG & Diff. Core design. PAP is 5 5/16 R 1 3/16 Up. Rev Rate: 400. Speed: 16.5. Drilled this piece with the Pin above the Bridge with the CG kicked out 2” from the palm. Out of Box ball motion was clean through the fronts with a smooth backend reaction. This piece is good for Light – Medium Oil Patterns. I compared this piece to the Roto Grip Hustle Camo and USA (Hybrid). Camo was 0-1 weaker than the RIP. USA was 4 boards more all around than the RIP. This will be a good piece to start a block when you need something smooth on the backends. Roto Grip Hustle RIP
Roto Grip’s newest Hustle is going to be a hit in league or late in tournaments with some friction! I drilled my Hustle RIP 5 x 5 x 3 and was quite impressed on how slow it was on the back. It didn’t give me that typical over angular motion that Ive seen on the last few Hustle release. It is just as clean as the other Hustles but it really blends out the back part of the lane. This ball is going to excel in league conditions or even late in tournaments.

Hustle RIP
Roto Grip Hustle RIP Coverstock: VTC Solid Reactive Finish: Reacta Gloss Core: Hustle Core (14pd) RG: 2.55 Diff: 0.030 Layout: 5 x 4 x 3 - 2LS Layout Extras: 2 1/8 Finger Depth, "X" - 4 1/2 D and 1 Inch Left Tester: PAP 6 1/2 R, 1 1/4 D Review: The hustle series continues on with the Hustle RIP. If you enjoyed previous versions of the hustles or new to the hustle line the Hustle RIP is a must have. The Hustle RIP will work best on medium to drier THS patterns. Also, this ball can be used at the oob finish and can also do well with surface modifications as needed. Word on the street is the Hustle RIP is just as good as the original Hustle Ink released in 2016. The oob Reacta Gloss finish is perfectly fine on the RIP. For me, I generally skuff my reactive pieces with a fresh 4k or 3K by hand to slightly dull the surface. I always suggest to roll the oob finish first to see what the lanes are telling you to do. Unfortunately, I did not own the mac daddy of the hustle line, which was the original Ink. However, for my comparison I used the Hustle Wine as a baseline. In doing so, the Hustle RIP hooks slightly sooner and is more controlled than my Hustle Wine. In otherwords, the RIP will be very forgiving on a wide variety of conditions. From my viewpoint the Hustle RIP will definitely make the starter bag due to the fact this ball has a lot of range for many conditions. The Hustle RIP is a nice addition for any arsenal and you'll likely find a spot in the bag for most medium to dry THS patterns. I truly recommend this one for your THS conditions where you desire to move easy with the transition. It's quickly becoming a nice ball to have in the bag. RIP by Roto Grip Rick
Roto Grip Hustle RIP Ball Specs: Hustle Core with VTC Solid Reactive cover and finish with Reacta Gloss Layout Specs: 45 x 5 x 45 - tested on THS with a slight bit of out of bounds towards the gutters and Pro Lane panels My insight: When I opened the box - I was transported back in time to 2017/2018 when I drilled my second Hustle that was close to this shade. The general look of the ball is very sweet, like purple concord grapes from the Erie region of Pennsylvania. On the lanes the reaction was quite similar to my first INK in 2017, little earlier in motion compared to my Hustle USA w/a very similar layout of 50 x 5 x 45 with 500ab, 2000ab, with Reacta Gloss. The RIP still saves a good bit of energy through the pins, not as much as my Roto Grip Duo, but very close. Going back and forth with the Duo, the Hustle was not as jumpy off the end of the pattern like the Duo was when getting it out the drier portion of the pattern and would be smoother on the transition from end of the pattern to the pocket. Looking at the same tracer boards as a target, I was 7 boards left on the approach, I'm left handed for those that are reading this then I was with the Duo using the same target. A great ball for anyone that loves to bowl, the Hustle RIP is made for all skill levels, from the first timers all the way up to the professionals you see on TV and videos. Release date is fast approaching, make sure you visit your local pro shop to get yours. The RIP makes the pins REST IN PEACE!

The BEST bang for your buck!!
Dual Angle Layout: 60 x 3 3/4 x 70 Storm Vector Layout: 3 ¾ x 5 x 3 ½ The Hustle RIP is the ball I have been waiting for to replace my Hustle Camo. I never had the Hustle Ink but everything I’ve seen from the RIP so far tells me this is the next best thing, maybe even better. Out of the box it gave me plenty of length and a strong back end. This will be a great ball for high rev players on house shots or for when the heads get fried, and you need some length with finish you can trust. This is easily a $200 value at a entry level price. This will the be ball I recommend to any new bowler just getting started.

Hustle RIP
Layout: 4 1/2 x 4 1/4 x 3 Surface: Reacta Gloss The new Hustle RIP is a brand new solid cover Hustle in the HP1 line while utilizing the Hustle Core and VTC Solid Coverstock. On the typical house pattern, I found a smooth but continuous motion even while being polished with the Reacta Gloss. The Royal Imperal Purple color makes it visually very easy to read how the ball is rolling throughout the lane. Designed for light to medium oil conditions, this Hustle gives a lot of performance for its lower performance range. Comparing this to the Hustle USA (1000 Abralon surface), I saw more length with the reacta gloss and a slightly more angular motion. I think comparing the two balls with the same surface would have made the Hustle USA slightly more angular for me. Compared to the new Hustle M-M, I saw earlier and smoother motion and was about 2 boards smoother down the lane. The best uses for this ball would be fresh house patterns that have lanes with a lot of friction or medium to lighter oil sport patterns where you need control. Adding more surface to this ball will make it earlier rolling and stronger in the oil if you need more traction from it. Adam Chase Storm Staff
