Visionary Burgundy Gryphon Bowling Ball

By surrounding this core with a reactive based high load particle coverstock, we have created a ball that not only reads the midlanes well, but delivers a strong backend move that bowlers desire. This ball can be left in box condition for most med-heavy oil conditions, dulled up for extremely heavy oil patterns, or polished to give it more length and stronger backends. When the oil is too long or too heavy for the Blue Sparkle Gryphon - this is the ball to go to. This ball was designed to read the midlanes but still retain energy for a stronger back end than most particle balls produced. Starting with the original Warlock core (from the Blue and Orange Warlocks and the Sorcerer), the bottom was cut off to shorten the inner portion of the core. This lowers the differential slightly to help retain some length and energy for the back. Then it is wrapped with a lighter wrap allowing us to use a heavier inner core to help the ball read the midlane. The core is incased with a new high load particle with a reactive base.

My game Changed dramticlly last spring so this ball changed along with it but in the months I was using it this is what I saw... Great smooth roll one of the smoothest I have seen and decent hitting power not the hardest but better than most I had the pin above my fingers with the Mass Bias out 1 inch. The ball had great length could play just about anywhere I wanted to with it usally between 2nd and 3rd arrow depending on what house I was at.I would throw it out to about 5 and the ball turned and destoyed everything. worked equally as well on sport and league patterns. If I couldn't use Morich Visonary would be among my top 2 choices

Drill #1: 3 3/8 x 3 3/8 with a 13/16 hole Drill #2: 6 1/2 x 5 with a 7/8 hole on my NAP #1: A deceptive hooking ball that hits a ton. This ball starts early without the incredibly heavy granite's roll and continues with a silky smooth hook through the pins. When you step back and take a look, you'll notice that thing just hooked a ton! It is truly a burgundy urethane hammer on "the juice!" A great control ball for medium to heavy oil. #2: This was my favorite of the two drills. When I threw this thing for the first time a friend of mine thought I was actually throwing one of the old hammers. It is actually a dry lane ball when drilled this way. I know that sounds impossible, but it plays on the lane like a urethane while still hitting like that huge hooking particle. This is the first ball out of my bag in many situations. You just never know. If you are looking for the control ball to end all control balls, this is your ticket to success!

This ball got great lenght ! must have head oil. Great when the back are clean. Can handle some carry down easyly. This ball is compareable to the sanded inferno / Emeral buzzsaw. The best bang for the buck. The BPG a solid medium to medium-heavy oil condition ball. It reminds me of an aggressive resin ball. Easily hooks more than my Blue Sparkle Gryphon. It doesn't really handle the flood/carrydown. There's no oil to wipe off. I haven't seen any drop off or change in the reaction after half a season in three different leagues. It picks up dirt fairly quickly and should be cleaned regularly. The surface hasn't tracked or shown much wear. The BPG hits hard and carries well. I had two of these drill 3 3/8 X 3 3/8 and other drill 5 2/4 x 6. Both played well on the right condition.

I have not found enough oil to throw this ball in San Antonio! This ball has a Rev. Leverage layout in the ball to give me roll and more roll to match up with the core and cover of this ball. Even when the lanes seem slick this ball makes the lanes open to me compared to the other equipment I have. This is by far the strongest ball in my bag and I hope I can throw this ball some more. I will post a update on this one to try it on different oil patterns. Thank you Visionary! Bowled a 6 gamer tonight and this ball is great. I was in 3 place for 4 games with this ball and should have changed balls but the look I had with this ball was too good to change .. I came 10 out of 40 entires but this ball rolls really good when their is oil in the mids and a big hook area right and you just keep this ball in the oil and let it ride.

The BPG a solid medium to medium-heavy oil condition ball. It reminds me of an aggressive resin ball. Easily hooks more than my Blue Sparkle Gryphon. It doesn't really handle the flood/carrydown that I use the Scorcher for. The oil really "leaves" the surface of the ball quickly -- by the time it's my turn again in league play, there's no oil to wipe off. I haven't seen any drop off or change in the reaction after half a season in three different leagues. It picks up dirt fairly quickly and should be cleaned regularly. The surface hasn't tracked or shown much wear. I bowl on both wood and synthetics and it handles both equally well. The BPG hits hard and carries well

My Burgundy Grpyhon weighs in at 16 pounds with a 3-4" pin out distance, and is drilled to roll early. The pin is nest to the ring finger with the CG under the centerline kicked out some. It was placed in the positive thumb quadrant as well as the weight hole, on the VAL for early roll. On wood lanes oiled fresh upper medium crown pattern, don't know the unites or the length, I lined up with my slide foot on 25 and stayed there all night. I used the second arrow as my breakpoint and honestly this ball made me feel like I was playing on an easy house wall. The reaction shape is that of a crescent moon, it rolls early, but not too early. I'd say it'll get about 30 feet down the lane and then turn over. You can see the ball rev up in the mids and then make it's move to the pocket. The hard arc is continuous and there isn't any squirting in the Burgundy. It's pretty aggressive over all, and a high flaring ball with many spaced out rings covering at least 60% of the ball, I don

We drilled this ball for Bill Williams and watched him throw it through its paces, often teased for his lack of feel Bill had no difficulty with this ball. He says the ball is as easy to control as the red executioner. A ball I compared to storms tour power for ease of control. The ball rolls up nice and turns in a controlled fashion even though it was set up 3 3/8 X 3 3/8. I have noticed a lot of local bowlers making ball brand changes this summer, many have been opting for the less known brands like visionary, Mo Rich, and Lane#1. Why would anyone shy away from the big guys, well simply said many of these people think that the small companies have higher standards of quality in the balls they choose to sell a firsts. Whether this is true only the buyer can say, but I have yet to see a bad ball from visionary. This gryphon is no exception to my new rule the ball looked great and played great. Visionary has a program where they sell you some balls’ cheep, with a bag and you write demo
