Track Dry Heat Bowling Ball

Raise the temperature on your competition when you use the Dry Heat . The Track team has been researching the market to identify the needs of our customers. The most frequent request was for a ball that was specifically designed for drier lane conditions. . Initially we thought this could be an easy project to complete, but we soon realized that simply making a ball that hooks less is not enough. Our customers demand the control of the lane that our high performance balls provide. The oil used in bowling centers today are slicker than ever. For this reason we could not make your average high Rg low differential ball. In fact, we needed a lower Rg system to create the control necessary to tackle the newer lane oils. To create this reaction we removed the inner ball from the Heat core and cut the differential to .026. This design, wrapped in the Power Plus Solid coverstock will give the bowler extra length with a controllable arcing backend motion. Now you have the tools to compete on any condition that you encounter. Do the math: DRY HEAT + DRY LANES = HIGH SCORES

As shots have been changing and new equipment seems to be required at least bi-annually the problem of drying heads seems to recur again and again. Looking over my racks of retired balls gave me reason to think maybe some may have been given new life by the "sport shot" bowling proprietors. The Dry Heat is a prime example as it's limiting of the over/under reaction via it's particle makeup and the designed in long run of the ball makes it ideal for a stable down and in shot. Initial was Gold scotchbrite finish, not grey. Given a new Abralon 2000 grit finish is next for a tad longer run on even drier heads. I have a green Quantum that I may pull out next for those stronger mid lane moves... As an additional note. I'm still not sure why any bowling proprietors would try to take away the scoring ability of it's patrons. The sport/entertainment of bowling does seem hell-bent on it's own self destruction. Add challenge via sport shots? The bowling membership having dropped to half of it'

I have had this ball for over a year now, i likie the longer skid on it, and it has alwayz hit hard for me. I use this ball the majority time at tournaments when the lanes are broken down. Mine has taken a little of beating and bangin on it, its pry have round atleast 250 games on it, the reaction still pretty much te same as right when i 1st got it. My only problem has been getting the ball to far outside, and ive depending on teh shot it will jus skit on the outside... this ball is especially beautiful for wood lanes. i dont even think anything else on wood lanes... Overall id recomend this ball to anyone who wants a lowered price ball that works on dryer lanes.

i was suggested to use this ball after the pro shop person saw me bowl.. he said i had 16 revs and about 13 for ball speed.. he said if you would want other balls they will hook too much so he suggested this for me.. overally this ball at first dissapointed me but after i got adjusted to it it does pretty good.. hopefully they can make a pearl version with better colors! despite the color and etc this ball performs really good once u can adjust to it great for people especially with slower ball speed and higher revs

I noticed my friend use this ball weeks ago.He is a cranker with high rev & low ball speed. For market buy-able balls...90% was out of his selection.Even sometimes I saw him use polyester spare ball as strike shot.Of course, big curve... That's why I wondered he used Dry heat...However,this ball did great job.My friend drilled it as pin in above of ring finger & kicked CG out of mid-right of grip. This ball slides thru the head with minimum reaction & power lost like polyester ball rolls. But return very sharp at clean back-end.Seems like sudden hook on the short head pattern lane condition. If you are same situation with my friend did.And looking for a dry lane strike ball. You will need the DRY HEAT.No hesitation!!

I have always been a Track loyalist, but this one ball might have changed everything about that. This ball was listed on their own website as being ideal for a high rev player on dry conditions. Even stating that you could play up 5 with it. NOT bloody likely. This ball hooks just as much, if not more, than a heavy oil ball. Very Very Very disappointing ball, you can't play up 5 with this if the lanes are swamped, let alone dry. I would play 28-4 with this ball and watch as it still zipped past the head pin. This ball sucks plain and simple.

I set the ball up for a 5x5 on the cg and pin. This makes the ball snap at the end. I rolled with it a few times and it does alright. Sometimes it hooks too much but is easier to adjust too in the later part of a tournement. Bowling with it yesterday with slower backends helped me keep the ball left long enough to stay in the pocket. I felt good with the release and the finish. If I were to get another one I would set this ball to be more of a curved finish than a sharp break point. That would suite this ball better for the drier lane conditions. With the ball snapping at the end can sometimes make the ball unpredictable on if it will come up too much or not enough. I would recommend this ball to bowlers who participate in a lot of tourney's or have a house with chronic slow lane conditions.

The ball DOES hook but it gets down the lane farther than anything I have but plastic. If you want to play deep inside on a burned up shot this ball works fantastic. If you want a ball to throw up the gutter on dry lanes DO NOT GET THIS BALL! I have above average speed and above average revs and have not found on my league shot, which has no back ends and burned up heads by mid game 2, any ball that can get down the lane and still recover. This ball does that. It gets through burned up heads and still flips hard with no back ends. All in all a great ball for playing inside on dry lanes.

I bought this ball to use on a wet dry. This is not a dry lane condition as there is plenty of head oil. The outside of the lane and the backends are extremely dry. The problem with aggressive balls on this shot is over reaction to the dry. This ball gets excellent length, but when it reads the dry it snaps viciously. Way too much entry angle for me. This is an aggressive skid/snap ball and not a dry lane ball at all. If you need help generating entry angle on a medium shot, give this a try. If you generate your own hook, STAY AWAY!!! I hated this ball. It will hit great if you get the ball to the pocket, but pocket % is poor. I guess I'm not skilled enough to use this ball.

Picked this ball up about 2-3 weeks ago, layed it out stacked with the pin at 12 o'clock to get long on dry lane conditions. This ball gives me a nice reaction in the back, nothing too drastic but i find myself sometimes not getting the ball to hook like the shot before, but that is just me not being consistent. I like practicing with this ball on multiple lane conditions because it will make me stay consistent. Recently used this ball in a tournament, gave me a consistent reaction from games 2-5, it was great. Overall i gave this ball a 9 because it is an amazing ball on dry lanes but i find it sometimes leaving that bastard 10 pin, good ball none the less.
