I loved this ball out of the box. Threw my first 700 series back in the day. Used it up the boards in the beginning and had a nice angular back end reaction. Started using more hand in it as it died and got it to have a smoother midlane roll and back end reaction. The ball was also very controlable on a tough sport shot. Overall a very good ball... not great but will get the job done until it dies. I never used to believe the rumors that Track equpiment fades after a few games but this ball showed me that it can happen.

Layout- Pin below midline and in the palm area 5 3/8", CG kickeout to the right at 3 1/2", Wegith hole Slightly past VAL. (All from PAP) ---0---0---- ------------- -----P----- ------------ -----O-----CG --------------------------x Surface - Polished with some magic shine. Reaction The reaction of this ball was a great surprise. I was thinking it would be the ball I play at 15 to like 8 and back and it would be nice and smooth. Yet when I played that shot it went so long and snaped so hard that it miss the pocket. I loved that I had to move more left. I had to play more of laydown on 22 send to 15 at the arrows and end up at 7 befor its move would start. Rating 10 Readabily I could see it being able to a benchmark ball if you have the right surface to it. Yet I also know it has some over/under problems to it. So I would not recomend this ball as a benchmark ball. Rating 9.5 Versitility I can see this being no stronger then a mid condition ball. I dont think it

This is a legend core that Track has been used for years.Actually this is also a un-defeatable core for all time that players can use. I drilled this to make a completion of Track Dry to Heavy oil lanes use balls line-up.And it works just as advertised.Very easy to control the mid part reaction on lane.Hit exactly like Brunswick ZONE. But the Crunch time has more advantages on prices, outlook, coverstocks compared to a zone. This factor should bring much bowlers join Track club when they ever used a Track ball.Don't hesitate to have one.And enjoy the game!! One small reminder, don't use it on real oil lane.It may not went back by required.

simple put, AWESOME!!! Got this CT in a trade with LuckyLefty (thanks pal) it's drilled pin below ring finger, cg just above the thumb on the centerline. produces a strong arc on my current lane condition, good for light medium-med heavy oil. I don't recommend it for scorched lanes, or the exxon valdez. I'm able to throw it around 17 at the arrows, out to around 10 at 45 ft. so far this season, averaging over 240 in both leagues, and have shot 803 and 810. The crunch time is the only ball i've used this season!! Can't wait for my freak a zoid to get here. thanks -------------------- Rev-O

This ball has been the biggest friend I could have. I threw my first 300 about a month ago with this ball. It is very forgiving on placement on the lane, you can be an area bowler and do well with this ball. When the ball get done sliding it makes a direct turn to the pocket. The ball is very forgiving and can be used on medium to heavy conditions without a problem. The ball was drilled with only a 1/2 ounce of finger weight to accompany the amout of lift I put on the ball. Wonderful ball by Track. Recommended to anyone.

I kept the cover of the bowling right on the box, but after bowling for a year with it about 10 games pre week. It got really dul. I am not trying to get it back the way it use to be and I am having trouble getting the way it use to work. I do use it less now, but it still has to hitting power as I first used it. I use to more for light to medium oily lanes. The crunch time hook likes nuts on dry lanes and does not hook on heavy oily lanes. Overall I love the Crunch Time.

I layed this ball at 4 inches from the PAP and CG. I put the pin below the finger to change the break point on the lane. At first the ball was too aggressive, so I put a hole on the side and that smoothed the ball out for a more controlled backend. Bowling league, I was able to play down and in with very little adjustments. When it hits the pocket it blows the pins all over the place. Allows you to get away with a few high and light pocket shots. I would recommend this ball for anyone that bowls in a house with short oil patterns.

Crunch Time is a unique solid / pearl combination reactive from Track. Although it reads the midlane and starts revving earlier than advertised, it provides excellent length on medium conditions saving all its energy for the hit. When the Crunch Time reaches the dry boards, it makes a powerful turn and drive for the pocket. The Crunch Time just demolishes the pins and if a pin is left standing a messenger usually hunts it down. Ball is drilled 5 X 4.5. This ball from Track works beautifully on fresh conditions. Once lined up it can be used from start to finish. Ball saves all its energy and really "turns the corner". This ball is great for inside and deep inside lines. I have never had a problem with carrydown as it just plows through once it turns. Ball is jumpy on toasted conditions and needs to be put away.

I got this ball for Christmas (Yes i know that it is a late review). Drilled it up with pin under and to the right of the right finger, CG is right above the thumb. No weight hole. The ball gave me a very smooth backend snap, and is nothing short of amazing. On January 11th in league i went 300-257-259 for my first 300 and my first 800! Making me the 3rd YABA 800 in Alabama! The ball soon slowly went downhill from there. Every other person that I know that have had this ball agree with me that it is one of the best balls they have ever owned.<s

I have to admit I did not think that the CrunchTime would hook this much. I expected it to be just above the Hex Darkside. I was TOTALLY WRONG!!!! This thing will handle carrydown, you have to play around it, but it will cut through it if you get it to the dry enough to drive through oil. Once the CrunchTime gets to the pins they do cartwheels across the pindeck. It never hits the same twice in a row. It will leave messengers to take out any pins that actually get lucky and remain standing. This ball makes a good compliment ball for the Havoc. WHen the Havoc checks up just a little bit too soon, this ball gets that extra length. There are many conditions that I can easily see standing deeper with the this ball than any other ball that I own. Want a good ball and not have to put out a ton of cash....get this one!!!!

I was able to swing the ball way out and play the fourth arrow which I don't usually play and hit like an sob. However, there isn't much need for me to swing the ball across the fourth arrow, at least not in my house. When there is considerable amount of oil in the middle or on a christmas tree pattern this ball is the one I use hands down. I have considerable amount of messengers on my 7 and 8 pins(lefty) and I love it. It feels really good when you have 5 or 6 in a row and get a fast messenger on my 7 pin. Great technology along with a little luck are good components for a great ball.<s

This ball is a very good ball out of the box.And hit pretty hard .It is also pretty reliableand forgiving. But the big problem with this ball is that it cracks around the fingers and eventually breaks out..The surface of the ball isn't very strong after you drill it. It's not a ball I would want to buy again for the reason of it cracking and breaking up. Because I can't see spending money on something I'm going to have to plug after about 20 or 30 games. It just doesn't make much since to buy something that won't last very long

I placed the pin and CG at 4 1/2". The ball gives me a nice gradual curve and hts the pins hard at the finish. Works really well on a freshly dressed lane with clean backends. I like the control this ball provides especially late in a tourney. I would recommend this ball for people with slower ball speeds that need that control through the front part and will use all of its energy at the end. So if you want a decent low price ball for wood lanes the Crunch time would be a good ball. I have shot with it on synthetics, but only as warmup. I never tried the ball on during the tourney and it worrked really well.

This is a good effort from Track but just doesn't quite carry as well as the Dry Heat, Phenom Unleashed or Silencer that I have. It has a tendency to move through the break point occasionally and not recover early enough to kick out the 10 pin. I am relatively consistent with my speed so I don't have this problem very often but with this ball I do once in a while. I can't throw this ball on the outside the 10th board as its back end is just too strong on my house shot. Other than that and the occasion skid this is a good ball and a solid ball for your average "league" player.

DRILLED NEGATIVE MASS BIAS IN TRACK. ONE OF MY FAVORITE DRILLINGS. USED ON BRUNSWICK SYNTHETICS SUNDAY EARLY LEAGUE. TYPICALL HOUSE SHOT WET/DRY PLAYING 18 CROSSING THE ARROWS AT 14 TO 10 BAMM BAMM BAMM. FLUSH THE POCKET. REVS VERY WELL( LIKE IT SHOULD) TRITON ELITE WEIGHT BLOCK. FOR THOSE WHO ENJOYED THE ELITE , YOU WILL ENJOY THIS ONE AT A CHEAPER RATE, WITH NO LOSE OF CARRY. DOES NOT LIKE THE CARRYDOWN. SO MOVE RIGHT OR LEFT WHEN YOU SKID PAST THE BREAK POINT. SIMPLE HAND ADJUSTMENTS WILL KEEP THIS BALL ON THE LANES ALL THRU LEAGUE. NO NEED TO CHANGE BALLS UNLESS ITS A FLOOD. I'M HAVING FUN TIME TO CRUNCHTIME.

LIKES: I like how it shreads the rack when it hits. Awesome backend. Very versitile, I can play inside and out and still hit the pocket strong. Works great when there is carrydown. Reads the lanes well when they begin to breakdown. DISLIKES: Sometimes there is to much angle on the backend and I leave a lit of corner pins. OVERALL: Good ball but sometimes too much angle. Can also be very lane specific. But I like track so this ball is still something that I would reccomend to lower average bowlers who need the ball to do some of the work because they dont't have that much wrist.

This ball really shows how much difference the coverstock can make. I still have a Hex that I love to throw on drier lane conditions. I drilled my Crunch Time with the same layout - pin 4½ from axis above the ring finger - and it is much stronger! The high polish keeps this ball really clean through the front part of the lane. I used it in league the other night and started out crossing around 3rd arrow and as the lanes broke down I was able to move well inside 4th arrow without the ball trying to hook too soon on me. For a shiny reactive coverstock, this ball is not too flippy for me. It will make a strong move on dry backends, but it is not so sudden that it is unpredictable. This is definitely a good choice for a benchmark ball. I know it is my first ball out of the bag now!
