Lucky enough to pick up this nib not long ago, drilled this 1" pin 3oz top SE with the pin and cg stacked 1/2 inch off my gripline. Used it on a 2nd shift tourney condition last weekend with a 20ft head bump to stop the fronts blowing out, for 5 games it was awesome, holding the pocket when swung 25-10 and recovering from the twig on wide shots. When the transition kicked in it was time for the leveraged EMB for earlier and more flare to combat the 'new' condition. The ball started to ping 10 pins and head for 'no mans land' at the break with 2-10's becoming a danger. Another ball that should find a home on the 'new' house shot i'll be facing in a couple of weeks where an older SE with a mega low pin (1" or so from PAP) will join it for up the boards assignments

Bought this ball on Ebay looking for a ‘control’ ball – something everyone needs when the shot gets tough. The ball is 15-4, and is Pin-In, with the pin about 3/8” off from the CG. Had it drilled right over the label. I can’t imagine ever finding a better control ball. The box surface is a dull sheen – I put a very light coat of polish on it. First time I used it was during a 8 game tournament in a wood house with a house shot. It wasn’t your typical super-easy house shot, as there wasn’t a flood in the middle and there was some ‘out-of-bounds’ if you pushed it out too far to the right. I started with my label leverage Spike (big-flaring ball), swinging it from around 20 out to 5 or 6 at the breakpoint. This worked for 1 game (two-twenty-something). During the second game things went to hell. The flare was causing an inconsistent reaction in the midlane and at the breakpoint. A 156 second game is definitely a Code Red Emergency, so I went to the Code Red SE. This was a desperation move

Ball is real fidgety when it is shine. Ball comes dull and should stay dull. Ball cares pretty consistanly both dull and shine. Does not recover well when thrown out. Does well on a down and in shot with oil in the heads. I have mine dril with pin at about 4 1/2 above my fingers with a stacked pin. Ball does not rev up a hole lot. This should be drilled for a tournament bowler with a specific shot in mind. When the shot is there this ball is just as good as any other, but when the shot is not, forget it.
