Track Animal Bowling Ball

The Animal is the most technologically advanced ball produced in the history of Track. The Morpheus 2.0 core uses six pieces of different densities to achieve a balance of control of the breakpoint and overall hook ability. The addition of a wing attachment on the opposing side of the rev plate increases the Animal's mid-lane control while the aggressive Mega Fang coverstock provides its lane gripping ability. There is so much power inside the Animal that we had to use our Clean N Sheen compound to tame this wild beast. Put an Animal in your hand and be an Animal on the lane.

This ball is drilled to hook hard and it does, i can put it across the middle arrow and have it go to the gutter and snap back with amazing precision. If u can find one of these balls get it. my buddy throws it across the second arrow at almost 18 miles an hour and it still snaps hard. this ball rocks. the only problem is if u throw slower than 13mph no matter where u play it u cant keep it in the pocket. unless u have a long oil pattern. i encourage anyone to get this ball if u have a good hook.

I got this ball for free, my uncle gave it to me cuz he didnt like the reaction he was getting frm it. I told the proshop owner that i wanted the ball to go long and have a bit of backend. So he drilled it with the pin nex to the ring finger and the cg kicked out a bit. I notice that even with solid pocket hits, i was getting weird splits and solid pins. So i increased my revs and whoa baby..when this baby hits.. it really hits hard. Brooklyn or the pocket.. it's strikes all the way. Just that it does leave the occasional pin 10, mostly due to the bowler..not the ball. Too bad one day the ball got stuck and when it returned there were scratches all over.. Now I dun feel like using the ball anymore due to the severity of the scratches..but maybe one day.. I may call upon the Animal once more... ANimal Called Upon And The Animal Answers with a roar! As I have said before, that i dun think i would use the animal anymore due the the scratches on the ball.. But as the lanes of the bow

Hits hard and good pin carry. For outside line or inside line. It's the best ball I ever had! Oil or medium it doesn't make a difference the ball go to poket like a missile, this ball is the best, period. I will have to buy another Animal, just in case something happens to mine. We never know and I will not ever bowl with another brand of bowling balls, I will be a Track bowler for life. The pin carry it's great, before the Animal I have an average of three 10 pins per game since I been using the Animal that average drop to one per game and my average from 193 to 200 it's great.

First of all, the ball isn't a bad ball, it's just not nearly as aggressive as I had been led to believe. I was hoping for a ball that I could just grip and rip, but instead I found that if I wanted the ball to move much at all I needed to slow it down. I'm a cranker with lots of revs, and lots of speed so the ball did move, just not as much as it should have with my style of play. The ball was drilled pin out at 1 o'clock, and 4 inches from my PAP. No weight (balance) hole was necessary. In all fairness, I probably could have played with the coverstock a little more. I was just disappointed out the gate, so I probably gave up on the ball a litlle bit early. In all fairness, it does seem like plenty of other people have had good luck with this ball, I might have given up on it early, but unfortunately, this ball wasn't right for me.

The Ball hits like a TRUCK. If I miss Broklyn goodbye pins. It looks like a missle hitting a target. Turns over GREAT. I would use a little polish on it. VERY controlable This is a good story about a unloved ball.. On a Friday I went to the bowling alley and saw a GUY come outside and throw a ball in the parking lot. (I needless to say picked it up) I got it redrilled and resurfaced. I used it the first time last Thursday (first time EVER) I shot a 244 then 203. My Ave is 162. I used it last night 3/14/05 and shot a 257. I love this BALL!! Did I say it only cost me Drilling and resurfacing $$24.00

This ball makes you feel confident when you pick it up and throw it down the lane. This ball is not forgiving, so if you slow your speed at all it will go sideways on the lane on you. Keep your speed up with loft and it always hooks. Strong hit. Very good 1st game ball, Having a strong first game ball sets your pace right for the rest of the night. When the lanes start breaking down, go to a slightly, (i mean slightly) less aggressive ball and you should stay in the pocket. The technique lets me not move much on the approach or change my line down the lane. Grip it and rip it, it wont disappoint. And remember, just Roll Tha dice! thanks for reading my review.

overall review of this ball is a 10, its all that they have said about it, its a hook monster, bites hard, a little bit of backend, and so on, clean through the heads, and when it hits, it destroys the pics, leaves nothing on the lane, better on medium to oily lanes i think, but keep the speed up, if you cant handle throwing it hard for 3 games or more, dont even buy it, first night i bowled with it, nothing under 200, and the high game was 265. just a great ball, i was a little worried about track, because i never owned a track ball, i am usually a storm guy, but i gave it a chance, and i has proven everything that they have said about it, if you have any questions or anything concerning this ball, email me, so whatever and track if you see this, send me the new animal untamed, as a gift, because i have a new daughter, and everything, so i dont have the cash flow as i use to, everything and all i got to say it, thank u track for putting a ball out like this.

This is a great ball for synthetic heavy oil lanes. Can be speed sensitve if ball speed in slower. Not recommended for strokers without tons of speed. This ball will always come back, just let it out and watch the crushing power happen. Has a tendency to hook early and hard if lanes are broke down or oil pattern is short. Carries through nicely on all types of carry down, and drier back end. If you want to pick up the game, pick up the Animal. Whats the worst that could happen? You might just shoot that impressive game or series you've been chasing for years, I did.

Weight: 14lbs 0oz Pin: 2" Drilled: 4.5x3.5 pin under ring, mass bias in strong position (for bowler stats, check my profile) Hook: Wow! I tried it on a medium oil shot at the house I bought it from and I had to move to 35 looking at 22 at the arrows just to get it to the pocket! I only threw 6 frames...I wish I could have used it more, but they went glow-in-the-dark on me! The backends were really dry, and the Animal responds very well to friction. Once the Animal reached the backends, it would come back to shred the rack! I also tried it at another house on newly and really heavily oiled lanes. I was standing on 28 looking at 17 at the arrows. The Animal went out to about 5-6 and would just come roaring back to the pocket! It picks up really well on the midlane and just keeps on hooking even through the oil (it’s a lot more impressive if it encounters dry or any friction)! When I heard about the ball I was anticipating a great ball. Well it didn't turn out to be what I had expected. It advertised the most hook in market, it wasn't as much as talked. Although some good points is that it carries a lot of energy to the pins so it can create a lot of pin action. Also it is very versatile so it can be played anywhere on the lane. Yet still the ball was a disappointment. If you are lokking for a ball with maximum hook don't get this ball. But if you want something verstile you might be interested in this.

when i first started using this ball, i was quite disappointed. I was expecting a ball that was going to give me a little more angle and room than my mutant and i didn't get it with this. Track really got a hype going around this ball and in reality i think that they somewhat mislead buyers. Ball seemed to go way too long with the original coverstock, but when sanded with some scotch brite, i got a much better reaction. The ball reaction became smooth and predictable and the ball started to read the lanes a lot sooner. If you do plan on getting this ball, the only recommendation that i have is that you either drill the ball stacked, or that you sand the coverstock down.

The ball is absolutely great. I love it. The worst thing happend though when it got damaged and im jus now gettin the roll back. My animal is drilled leverage of my axis and is very strong. The ball is the most versatile particle ive ever owned. Im not a fan of particle equipment. Im a huge fan of this ball. The morpheus weight block is absolutely great. It hits like a truck on all conditions. The ball loses no energy on any shot. The ball is expensive but is worth every penny. This is one particle ball that i havent had to clean after every set i bowl with it. The ball is god to me.

Animal #2....drilled to hook, I have the pin leverage and about 1 1/4 in. above my midline and MB is 1/4 past my val. The most hooking ball I have ever thrown. Nothing else is even close. I got on a tournament shot where everyone else was having trouble moving the ball and I went to the bag and got this ball and I was swinging from 15-8.........and everyone else was playing straight up the boards. Awesome recovery, I have atleast 5 boards of area when I am able to use this ball. I just don't get a chance much of the time because of how strong it is. That is OK though, because this ball does what it was supposed to. It is basically a tournament ball for me, and will not see the daylight very often. I am considering a 3rd Animal, drilled the same as this but with the factory finish left on it.

First of 2 Animals that I own. This one is drilled with the pin below the ring finger, MB on my VAL. This thing starts reving up at 25 ft. Strong backend reaction, but it reads the lanes very well also. I can use this ball on just about any lane condition except extreme oil, which is why I drilled another. Until I threw this ball I thought the Mutant was probably the strongest hitting ball I have ever thrown. The Animal leaves it in the dust. I carries just about everything. I do find with the factory finish that the balls responds well to release changes. This is why I speak so highly of how versatile it is. On a typical house shot I can swing from inside of 4th arrow, sometimes deeper, or I can tame my release a bit and play straight up 5 board. Track has a winner here!!!

I am a very satisfied buyer of this ball. My experience has been with many bowling balls, however, this is probably the first ball in a VERY long time that I could say I would buy another of. I have shot great numbers after I had used it consistantly in my leagues. I am averaging over 225 with it and I just hope it lasts. Also, the ball is very forgiving, it does not over-react and it turns very smoothly to carry very well. I had it drilled for early hook and it's been working great. Thanks Track!

Layout - Pin 4" under ring finger, CG 3 1/2", MB 4 1/2" Weight hole slightly above midline about 1" or so left of PAP. ( All from PAP) Reaction This ball for me starts up earlyer then any other ball I have rolled. The reaction is great. It starts up at about 25 feet, and it then starts its arc to the pocket. I have never had a ball move this strong on oil before. It even moved on 45 feet of mop oil. I wish I had two. Rating 10 Readabily Not the ball to use for readability. Even if the oil is slightly on the light side it will burn up. So dont even try it on mid heavy, mid, and never try on light. This ball is not the ball to read the lanes with. Yet if you can get the speed high enough you can use it on these oil types. Yet I dont think this ball should be used for less then heavy oil. Versitility This ball with even the slightest cover change can make a world of change. If you have it with a high grit and then a slight polish and this will be the greatest backend ball yo

The ball hit's like a truck! The ball has 2.5ozs top-3 inch pin. I drilled it with the pin above the ring finger with the c-of-g about 2inches left of the cg. The mass bias is approx 2inches right of the thumb, and i put a leverage hole. The ball get's thru the heads smooth and back end has a nice easy to read arc---not to snappy...My personal thought is you could get rid of the squirt in the oil by changing the surface. Great ball for the collection!! You will not be disappointed if you add this to yours.

I'm on the road, forgot my Warp Zone and need a carrydown/medium heavy oil ball. Walk into the local pro shop. Whaddya got? The Animal says he. Supposed to be Track's biggest hooker, says he. We can take the cover polish off, get it to about 800 if you like. I try it in box and down to 600. 15 lbs., drilled stacked 4x4. I read the Track website, look at the specs. Looks like just what I need, thinks I. I is wrong. I is mid-forties, 17-18 MPH with 340-360 rpm an axis rotational angle of about 20 and tilt of about 15. 1. Length? Gets through the heads and midlanes fine until they really dry up. Length is not the problem. In fact, it goes too long for the lanes it is supposed to be used on. I try it later on a lightish wet -dry. Still long, but at least close to appropriate. Does seize up when the lanes get dry. 2. Move? Not really. I was expecting a hard, consistent, strong arc. Instead, the ball seems to want to get going, but doesn't unless I slowed down q

I had the ball drilled pin under the bridge, CG swung out about 1", putting the MB near my VAL (medium to low track player). I recd just the reaction I was looking for - strong midlane read and heavy arc to the pocket. On slight pulls the ball appeared to hook and set and when sent wide, it recovered nicely once it found the dry. The box surface creates more skid than Track's "2.5 Length" suggests. I had no need to adjust the surface with my ball speed of +/- 18 mph/ Medium revs. I will be bowling on heavier oil tonight and tournament next week and will update the review at that time. UPDATE - bowled in tourney with good head oil, fairly short pattern, and fresh back ends. The ball was way too much for these conditions even swinging it from 20-5 while coming straight up the back. I then bowled on brand new (2nd day of use) synthetics with medium oil, flat pattern, and the ball wanted to go long if I came up the back. The minute I gave any hand to it, speed became a definite factor.

This is quite an amazing ball right out of the box, I'm waiting for it to don a cape and fly away!! FANTASTIC arcing ball... so smooth, and the power when it hits the pins is phenomonal!!!! (Hence the phenom line!!) What a rush when it makes it's left turn and rips the rack to shreds!!! Not had a game under 230 since I got this baby, and surprisingly enough I have been able to use just this ball all nite... instead of three or four others!! Not since the introduction of reactive balls have I had such fun with a ball...not to mention the high scores too!!Track does it again!! Keep EM Comming!!!

I love this ball now that I have polished it. It goes longer and with the built up stored energy in combination with its agressive back ends, it just explodes. Still can arc, even with the polish, just cant play as deep. By polishing it, I created such a different angle that I havent seen before. I do great playing the outsides when they are flooded. Just sending it up 5 and watching the animal do its work on the back end. My opinion is to polish this ball especially if you throw it hard with alot of finger, and as the carry down starts to annoy you, you will find a way out with this ball<scri

Had the Animal drilled just like my unleashed, to go long. Pin center over the fingers and CG at the same level and to the right of the Thumb. I was able to go deep before the break point (5th board) with the drill configuration I stated above. It doesn't snap back like the Unleashed but when it made it's move (break point) the transfer of power and direction was unmistakeable. Banged out the 10 and in fact I had a few 9s for my trouble. Great ball. I thought I was a Columbia guy but Track is the one doing it for me.

We drilled 4 of these bad boys tonight and we got to see one of our customers throw it. Pin over ring finger, cg kicked out about 2 inches and the mass bias almost on PAP. Bowled on fresh house shot, synthetic lanes. 25 balls thrown, 20 strikes. He had from 15 to the gutter. No 10's, just a couple of 4's. Ball got through nice with great backend. Read the midlane beautiful and recovered strong. Ball carried everything, light and flush. He tried it on the late shift of league and had major problems keeping it of the nose, but the ball wasn't designed for the later shifts of league, especially following a 5 man league. He really couldn't find anything with it, In the dry to much...through the nose...too deep...didn't make it. Kepp this ball in some fresh juice and you have a beast on your hand. Use it on the right conditions and you won't be dissapointed. Ball is an monster with the righ condition up there. We have plenty in stock...visit us at juniorsbowlingshop.com
