Core: Before we selected the coverstock, we knew the Helmet core would provide the extra recovery at the back end of the lane that we wanted. We had a lot of success with the Helmet core in our 706A and we wanted to keep it rolling with the 706T. Coverstock: Using the Helmet core allowed us to try some pretty aggressive coverstocks. We found our Gen XT (Xtra Traction) cover, which is our second most aggressive Traction-based cover, matched up best with the proven Helmet core. Overall: The 706T is ideal for medium to heavy oil lane conditions. The lower intermediate differential allows it to store more energy through the front part of the lane compared to its predecessor, therefore having a stronger impact with the pins resulting in higher scores.
