I don't know where to start other than I have 1 vertigo and am going to buy another one to put away for the future, my brother had 2 vertigos and is buying another one soon to do the same as i am putting it away for the future. We woulden't be stocking up on a ball that is bad. Next this ball makes a 90 degree backend turn for me. This ball also with that much turn still destroyes the pocket. I have never thrown a ball that backends and still has that much hitting power, This ball hooks by far more than any other ball I have ever thrown. It is a indescribleable feeling to watch this ball that you have just thrown destroy the rack, you and throw one and take it for a test spin yourself and be truely amazed.

Its a must have ball if you want a ball to turn hard for any oill!!! This ball smells great, looks great love the colors, hits incredible, love the reactive coverstock, weight block it so strong and revs up really fast. A ball that I must have if I want to play in a heavy oil or sport shot condition. This ball is truely a mack truck when this ball turns. Storm is an incrdible company and this is one incredible ball. If you want a ball that is gonna be a strong backending ball this is deffinitally a ball you must have it. This ball is truely a good ball, Incredible backend most hook I have in a ball ever thrown yet.

Now that I've had this ball since March and got used to it...THIS BALL IS STILL FREKING GREAT!!! I have the ball still drilled the same way 4" pin with a lot of thumb weight and after 150+ games it still hammers the pocket. Last Friday, I threw my first career sanctioned 300 with this and so far for the season I am currently average 243 with this ball. I have to see how the Trifecta is, but until this is my main ball and will be for a long time. I would definitely still recemmend this ball to anybody, by far one of the best balls ever made period.

I got this ball from bowling in a pro-am league over the summer. I drilled the ball the same as a drilled my old Xcel Particle. The Vertigo hooked a ton more. I love the reaction I get from it but I just can't use it on just a house shot. Not enough oil for the turn I have on the ball. I think I am going to hang on to it for when i hit an oily tournament and need some aggresion. Then there is the smell. This is by far my favorite smelling storm. Overall still a good ball.

I own the Big Bully by Columbia and absolutely love it. However, something happened to either the coverstock or the core the last time I baked it. So I said to myself it is time for a new ball. I wanted a ball to replace the Big Bully and to maybe have a little more hook. I was told that the Vertigo was the newest and greatest ball out there, and hooked a ton. When I went to go see it I hated the color, I mean come on Storm you can come out with a better color then that, and now you come out with the trifecta which is almost as bad looking as the Vertigo. Even though I thought the Vertigo was and still is the ugliest ball on the market, I went and bought it anyway because of the amount of hook it was supposed to have. So the first time I went and tried it, I wasn't that impressed. It actually in my opinion hooked less then my Big Bully. I found that I had to put a lot more rotation and lift on the ball to throw it out to the third arrow to make it come back. And a lot of times it just

ball flips my friends if you dont believe me look at Professional Liz Johnson who made 10 time pwba champion When i polished my bvertigo so it wont be dull it moves better for me but only on certain condition I know so many people who average probaly wentt up with the vertigo alot of people dont like because it recommended to be bowl on medium to heavy oil but you caan almost play on any condition its just how the way you throw it or come out of it eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeexxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxccccccccccccccccccccccccccceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeellllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnntttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

This ball is very good for oil but if there is no oil this ball is not worth even taking out of the bag. But if there is oil on the lane this ball is the ball you want. It will tair through the oil and it will just glide back to the pocket. But if there is no oil on the lane this ball will just scream right past the pocket to the 7 pin or right in the gutter. Thats the only reason this ball is not good. Where i live there is never enough oil on the lanes to even think about throwing.

Ive already posted a review on this ball... but i had to do another one. Last night i went bowling and in the first 5 frames of my 3rd game, i left 3 solid 8 pins. My score was 9/ x 9/ x 9/... is that not the funniest thing or what. You cant be mad at that, you have to laugh. Im right handed, but man 3 eight pins? Well i was using the hand postion of spreading my fingers open, well after the third solid 8 pin shot, i moved my pinky in and left my other finger out. I used the same amount of speed and even used the same line. The control was better and the angle wasnt sharp. Thank God i know those hand postions... well also i just wanted to know if anyone as a righty has had trouble with 8 pins on this? thanks

Purchased a second Vertigo: polished and drilled with the pin over bridge 5 1/2" from PAP, CG 3" from grip center with an X-hole on the midline and the VAL (all thanks to the USBC and their recent decisions concerning CGs and X-holes). The RAD was placed in the strong position in order to take full advantage of the 0.020 mass bias differential. Again, no finger grips were employed except for a thumb slug. I want to send a special thanks to Jim Kiser from Aubrey, Texas for selling me this ball, and also to Mike Corum at Empire Pro Shop inside Southwyck Lanes in Toledo, Ohio for drilling me this ball. On that note, we move on to the review... I needed something that could handle midlane carrydown, yet still get through the heads with a little bit of length. Tried this ball on a summer challenge league at Southwyck Lanes. Playing up the boards on the fifty-foot PBA Tournament of Champions oil pattern, the Vertigo did well, although the new Trifecta would be better suited for

I bowled with this ball the second league night that i had it and shot 226, 253, 215-----694 series!!!!!!! This ball was excellent!!!! Definitely loves oil!!! I played third arrow (right side) to the 4th board and came back---excellent carry, bowled 16 to 17 mph. I got it drilled up with the pin under the ring finger with X-hole. this ball had an 800 grit coverstock. I would recommend cleaning this ball after every use to get same reaction, and also wipe ball with towel after every shot. This ball is extremely versatile!!!! For all of you who give this ball less than ten pins are crazy, just use this ball for what is was made for , and trust me you will get ten pins. and also about this ball leaving too many ten or seven pins---- that is CRAP it is the angle of entry to the pocket. This was a great ball ... definitely consider it!!!!<scri

This ball is simply one of the most amazing balls i have ever thrown in my bowling lifetime. i have never seen a ball rev up so strongly and not burn up when it hits the pins. This ball was drilled pretty aggressively, with the pin 4 inches from my PAP and the RAD in the strong position. Also had a large weight hole drilled out to balance out the side weight. even in the heaviest of oil conditions, this ball still made it back to the pocket very strong. Even when i winged it far right once, it still came back to the pocket. It was a light hit, but still struck. This ball definitely needs oil to be effective, so don't even think of using this ball on dry lanes. I would definitely recommend this ball for almost anyone looking for an oil ball.

Thanks to ALL the guys that posted reviews on this website about this ball. This ball is CRAYZY! INSANE! SICK!... whatever term you want to use. I figured everyone that might have posted on here was a cranker, but obviously not. I stroke the ball and I average around 200. I went out and bought this ball thinking ok, ive heard ALL these reviews and this ball won't do Sh*t. They just oiled the lanes, and when i was about to throw my first shot, they threw more oil on it. There had to be at least 1/4 of an inch of oil if not 2/4. I shot this ball up the second arrow, had it hanging off the gutter by a couple of centimeters, and it came back and rocked the pocket! Thanks for EVERYONES review on this ball. This ball by far is one of the sickest, greatest balls ever made PERIOD!. Thanks to Storm also for putting such a powerful ball out. This makes some of Lane 1's "steriod" balls look like NOTHING! This thing hits like a truck, and if your wanting great qaulity and your game to massively im

WOW! This ball is a hooking monster. When I first got my Vertigo I was a little skeptical about its hooking power but after a week or two it really showed its true power! This ball revs up early and does not stop reving. This another good storm ball, every one should have one in there bag. I'm a stroker and this ball really allows me to open up the lanes, I never have to worry about it not hooking, I have to worry about it over hooking. If you would like to know how mine is drilled or any thing else you can message me on BallReviews.com under BrunsBowler/

I would reccomend this ball to anyone. It has been great right out of the box. 4 sets with it: 668,651,659,716 not bad. Just know when to put it away. First nite with it shot 213,278,177. That 278 was part of a 5 man team 1284 scratch. I look forward to more high scores to come. Need to roll the ball up the middle and out so you stay in the oil as long as possible. Hard snap are the backend doesn't leave many pins left. Also I would reccomend a 2nd ball that goes down and in for the middle of the third game depending on how you throw the ball.<

I did a lot of research on this ball, and I must say it was definitely a good investment. I got this ball drilled with a 4" pin with a lot of thumb weight, and the reaction on this ball is great. The one house I bowl at I could never get a ball to hook playing usually down 10, but since a bought this ball I've had to swing it from about 15 board to about 5 board. This ball hits hard, I have never owned a ball that hits this hard. I would barely hit the pocket on some shot and the pins just explode, and when I do hit the pocket it's a 99% chance that the shot is 10 in the pit. I would definitely recemmend this ball if anybody would ask about it.

I think I found THE non-particle heavy oil ball: the Storm X-Factor Vertigo. Many thanks to Jeff Lizzi at Star Lanes for drilling this ball up and offering a few suggestions to help me with my heavy oil/Sport game. My ball is drilled with the pin under ring finger 4 1/2" from the PAP, CG below the midline with a large X-hole 5 1/4" from the grip center through the CG on the VAL (the top weight was 3.1 ounces). I placed the RAD between strong and the VAL. The CG is off the line running from the pin to the RAD, so it (the CG) is within a couple inches of the VAL. This setup helps me on heavy, long oil patterns... a tournament ball, really! One side note, I decided NOT to use finger grips for fear of overturning the ball, and I wanted to get out of the ball cleaner upon release. I tested the Vertigo on both house and Sport patterns, and I was amazed at how the ball snapped with a dull, sanded cover! I liked the recovery and area that I could play on the oilier lanes; usuall

The X-Factor Vertigo is the first ever Storm ball I have ever thrown, and Storm has made me a believer in their products!!! I had it drilled 3 3/8 Stacked Leverage with Weight Hole on the VAL. Gets through the heavy oil great and moves to the pocket and has wicked carry!!! As I said in my dislikes, there is not enough head oil in a three game set on regular house conditions to tame the hook! One can either move left, or put it up and go to a ball that is less aggressive!!! Reactive?!? You gotta be kidding me...this is one ball that out performs most particle balls I have thrown in the past few years!!!

Got the ball used for $60 dollars from usedbowlingballs.com, which was a steal in itself. Just got it drilled before league night, had hardly any practice, and ended up shooting a career high 755. The only bad shots I had was when I pushed it to wide against the gutter, but even then it came roaring back. I didn't have to muscle it, just stroked it out towards the 5 board and it came back like a champ. I also own an Ace, and this ball makes me want to sell it because its so good. Even when the lanes started to dry up I just simpled moved some boards over. If you want a ball that won't over hook in tough conditions, or under hook cause its too wet, then this is it.
