I love the X-Factor series, The original i shot 300 with, the triple x and the triple extreme i threw for about half a season and averaged 215. This thing is a piece of crap, it has no recovery, you cant really swing it because it will die out and wont recover, but if you play straighter with it, it hits the dry to soon and goes through the beek, this thing sucks in oil and hooks in dry. dont buy this ball, but if someone will give you one for free, give it a shot, it might work for you

The few lines I play with it is amazing. It is a very usable ball for any part of the lane. When I first got it, I was playing the thrid arrow. But that was my frist year bowling, now in my 3rd year bowling I can play anywhere. I moved Outside to the first arrow and I was going dead thack! Just solid. In practice I was playin everywhere, then the last 3 I threw I was on the first arrow. I started the first game, strung the front 9, So in my head I was like, I just bowled a 300. I get to the 10th frame with the front 9, and solid strike, thats 10. I get up to throw my 11th shot and bang dead flush. Here come 12, I throw it, high flush for my first 300. What a great ball. If you have a chance at getting it, do it.

That this ball has brought some good memories and lot of league wins and tourment wins. And this ball has been good to me. This ball is just un-believeable. I just love this ball. There are days where I have an of day at a travel match when its different lane combinations once after a practice game i'm all set. If i could recommend a storm bowling I would most like recommend The Storm Deuce. I don't know how the ball is set up because I bought this off my pro-shop worker. But what ever has set works great with me.

I owned this ball since 1 1/2 year. It was drilled with an balance hole. I can play it on wood an synthetic lanes. Lane conditions from medium to heavy oil. Can play outside first arrow or second arrow. I often play to fast speed, so the ball has no chance to come back - but this is my mistake - but if I throw it slowly, his hitting power is great. I think this is a very good ball for the most type of bowlers. At the end I can say this ball is the first out of my bag.

got the last one of this jewels from my local proshop...have been looking at it for such a long time but never really thought of buying it...maybe coz i was such a HAMMER fan before this....the centre where i bowl at usually have medium oiled to medium dry lanes...it never reaches the medium-heavy conditions(what a pity!!!)... so to be safe, i mapped the layout to give me the weakest hook and a very smooth reaction...if i'm not mistaken its something similar to storm's #5 layout...so with this in mind i adjusted the surface to a 1200grit using the powerhouse matte finish...just remember that the ball needs OIL...no dry heads please,or loft like mika koivuniemi to succeed! now i have an X-hole drilled and the ball's backend reaction improved like hell! storm really really should bring this baby back!

Drilled pin next to ring finger, center slightly kicked out. If you like corner pins, this ball will let you have them in abundance. It hooks up way too early and dies by the time it reaches the pins. Hits like marshmallow and picks up whatever junk is on the lanes. Keeping this thing clean is such a chore that I would discourage anyone from purchasing this thing based on that alone. This is the second Storm product I bought. Based on prior experience it was one too many and it will most probably be my last. Stay away from this ball!<

The beast is on the warpath again! After rolling 219 with the Power Diesel (see The Tank Fron Hell review) I decided to return to my favorite ball, The Deuce. Even when i was off line it still recovered just enough to mix messengers for easy spares. When i was within a board or two forget it, tripped sixes taking out tens, fours taking out sevens, messengers from hell, etc. When i was on target nothing remained but dust, shattering explosive strikes. The consistant reaction of this ball allowed me to calm down and play within my zone for my second best series ever: 172+167+202=541. This ball has helped me bowl more 200s thananything in my arsenal. A true classic beast that Storm MUST resurrect from the dead!

The deuce was my first Storm ball, and I was so impressd by the power of this ball. IT is also very vorgiving and easy to control. i like the ball alot. it is always dependable . i always use this ball. i have had this ball for a acouple of years now, kept it in really good shape and it has always pulled through for me,(through the pins to), but there isnt much that i dont like about this ball, i have always bowled really good with it. when i thorw the ball i always hook the ball alot, and the ball just absorbs the oil like a sponge.the ball likes to dig in alot and is a very stable ball. i can always control it because i use magic, just kidding

The house I bowl at generally uses a heavy oil pattern 10 to 10 up to 38 feet. The old oil machine sucked and the new machine make the pattern more of an inside shot with dryer outsides. This ball found its comfort zone over third arrow out to to 7 at the break with excellent carry for my best series ever last night (Dec. 29, 2004: 548). If you use this on dry throw like superman or move WAY LEFT because it likes to go through the face on the toast! In fact, I threw my polished Brunswick Triple Crown on the toast and shot nearly 180 when I barely broke 120 with The Deuce. Proof positive you should never use this on dry lanes.

The Storm Deuce strength is a super back end torque potential to go along with a big total hook number translates into a very powerful ball. The weakness of the Deuce is you need head oil for it to retain energy and create the length necessary. This Storm Deuce is a powerful, big hitter in the high end market. The Deuce is a super ball to add to anyone's arsenal, unless you bowl on extremely dry conditions and to much carrydown. Storm made a wonderful looking ball to boot. The length is okay as long as there is enough oil to get it to the midlane clean, you can use the box finish on most conditions. So ,polishing would enable more length. The End...RPM

Great ball I really do like this ball it has awesome hitting power kicks tens like no other. it is also a forgiving ball pulled in by accident it held got it out and and it came back and crushed the hole. Got this ball last summer so this ball is a year old and still hitting and hooking like it was right of the box. have had this ball resurfaced once because of to many knicks srcatchs in the track area and had refitted in my because my bridge was to wide so I was getting not a consistent turn on the ball but I did shot a 700 with that.

The X-Factor Deuce was one of my first bowling balls from storm and is currently my oldest ball. The ball has a really nice reaction when polished but if its dull has no length at all. When pollished this ball will just continue to roll with alot of length down about 8 board and then has a very strong arc back to the pocket with a lot of power going into the pins this ball is good for all bowlers and i strongly recomend that you try and get your hands on one. Well done another great ball by storm.
