I have only had the ball three days and used it twice but on both Occasions it has exceeded my expectations, 681 series in my doubles league and today a perfect 300. This ball just loves wet lanes it goes long then breaks hard into the pocket. This has got to be the best Storm ball I have ever owned, I have had a few over the years but this one was brought to replace my Responce (I dont think the responce will be leaving the bag from now on ). PS Mat this is the best ball I have ever had drilled cheers.

I have Drilled 3 of these this week so the review will be a mixture of things i have spotted in all 3. Firs, my own one - very long pin but barely 2oz top weight, so i put the CG about an inch above my thumb hole and the Pin just above the ring finger. The RAD is out to the right of the thumb. For me, this is about a 4.5 inch pin and about 40 degree mass bias layout. It is pretty much the same drilling i have on my original X factor, so i knew i would like the roll. I polished it with 3M before use. The ball rolls up very well, but still manages to clear the dryish heads we have in the local centre. This drillin gment that the ball had decent length, but still started to hook earlier than the original X. The backends at this "wooden) centre are not too stronk, and on these the Reloaded had a strong but smooth hook, and was a little stronger than the original. The second ball drilled was for a very good young lefthander. This ball was specifically drilled for an upcommin

The X-Factor reloaded is far more of a hooking ball then my X-Factor Deuce. The deuce hooked good but this ball is unbelievable if u get the ball too far out its gonna nail the head pin. If you get the ball to far inside it will cross over. I found that the best way to play this ball is a deep inside shot, Just roll it on out and let the ball do the work, believe me it will make it back to the pocket. Now my friend on the other hand he cant throw it beacuse as soon as it leaves his hand it starts to hook. If you start leaving too many corner pins throw a 1500 grit polish on it and that should take care of the corner pins giving you a little more lenght and a smooth hook on the backend to mix up the pins.

the ball is simply great. It is the greatest storm ball out up to date. The reloaded's sharp entry can either make you or break you. i've bowled great games with it.....but make sure its oiled---synthetic lanes. It's a lot smoother on synthetic and there is definitely more pin fall. The ball smells great as well. I have the pin above the ring finger and bumbed the cg out for great backend/midlane roll. It goes down long then hits hard. This ball has more snapping action than every other ball in the series. w h y n o t j u s t r e l o a d?<sc

this ball is so great i love it when the lanes r just right for this ball i can dominate the lanes with confidence i dont know exacly how its drilled(im new to the sport kinda) but im told its not too aggressive i polished it a BIT so i could use it on both medium and medium-heavy i usualy play 4th arrow medium and can throw it as far out as i wanto or on medium heavy i bring it in to 3rd arrow with no loss in confidence the smell is alright but it gets on ur hands sometimes... and i haveto say it looks cool goin down the lane:) this is a real great ball and proud to tell everyone around me im throwing an x factor reloaded the only reason i cant say its my favorite ball is because i love all m y balls equaly (because there so damn good) i compare the length of this ball to a colossus pearl maybe a little less im going to get a second 1 for heavier oil and i might pick up an x factor for a light oil ball;)

The X-Factor RE-Loaded is a great ball espacialy for the tournement. I was waiting so long to see this ball and try to shot with this ball on the lane. If i did only three shot on the lane, this ball have a great rotation on the lane. I gues the particule pearl have a great reaction and this ball is on the top. This reaction of that ball 's look familiard he was the same reaction than the X-Factor original but more power and more hit. If The X-Factor was a great ball, Try the X-Factor RE-Loaded he will make a lot of work on the lane.Next Ball i will try, it's the X-Factor Deuce and the Fear Factor If i have a chance.

This is an extremely hard hitting bowling ball that can be used for a couple of different shots. My first time using it I threw a 560, then a 570, and then last week I threw a 676 with a 258 in the middle. If it wasn't for one solid ten, and one solid four, then it would have been a perfect game. Pin is next to ring finger and CG and mass bias all right of grip. No. 4 on storms drilling sheet. I can throw the ball out wide and it comes in strong with a good splash on the pins. Or, I can throw it through the oil inside and it sounds like glass breaking when it hits. An overall excellent ball that anyone can use on different conditions. It is too much ball for dry lanes though.

had this ball drilled straight up, rolled 659 first night out on a house shot, the best thing i like about it, is that it keeps the pins low, so it leaves few corner pins, It has a nice consistent hook not a violent snap like some of these new particle balls, ten pins allways give me a hard time so this ball is heaven sent,, ALSO LIKE ALL PARTICLE BALLS MAINTENENCE IS A MUST OR YOU WILL SEE DEAD BALL SYNDRONE, CLEAN WITH A GOOD PARTICLE CLEANER AFTER EVRY NIGHT OF USE. SO IF YOU HAVE BEEN LEAVING A LOT OF CORNER PINS THIS IS THE BALL FOR YOU!!!!

I bought this ball to replace my Duece. I wanted a particle ball because most house shots were I bowl is med-heavy oil if not heavy oil. The Duece just would not recover much during the first game. So I wanted a ball I could use all three games and the reloaded did that for me. First time throwing the ball I bowled 198, 212, 249 for a 659 series. The ball hits hard and keeps the pins low. I do make some adjustments at the third game because of carry down, usaully two boards max. Great particle ball, love it better than my Duece. The smell is ok. UPDATE: I bowled last night with this ball and shot 190,236,260 for a 686 series. I was killing the pocket! This ball does everything Storm promises it would do. Great ball for med-heavy oil lane conditions. i would recommend this ball to anyone.

Top 2.74 Pin 2.25" Layout: Pin 4.5 x 5 with the RAD under my thumb. I held off on snatching this ball off the rack due to some changes being made to my game. From what I read, I knew this ball was not going to have backends like the X-Factor. The X weight block was a good match for me with the first X-Factor. From the original to this one, what a difference! This ball displays a heavy midline roll which lends it's hand to the ball not missing the breakpoint window. The pins come off this ball with a low trajectory, great for carry. Don't buy this ball thinking you'll open the lane up at the fronts. This ball will help you see from the mid-lane to the pits.

As I have said the ball was drilled as identical twins to the others and with-in an 1/8 of an once of finger weight they are the same. The ball will turn the corner sooner and will hit very hard. It is the perfect compliment to it's brothers. Each of the balls were drilled with the pin above the ring finger and the CG kick out to the side and the Mass stacked in line. So the Mass is about 4" from the thumb hole. I get great lenght from the X-factor and a smoth transistion to the pocket. The deuce also goes long but has a strong movement to the pocket were the re-loaded starts up early and keeps moving. Thumbs up to Storm!

This is a great ball that I got at a great price of 130.00 Shipped which shipping is like 15 to 20 bucks in the first place. I Can not wait for the Winter season to start. The only bad thing is that I can not wait to bring it out 7 to 8 weeks into the season. I know that I am going to bring it out on the first night and throw like 1 670 ...what a way to establish...D'OH! This ball is very aggressive but it is able to be tamed. This ball is better than the deuce and probably equal to the original.

this ball is just another great x factor i can play third or fourth arrow with great confidence that it will find the pocket it isnt very speed sensitive but dont get sloppy this is a real solid ball i can play anywhere on the lane i want as long as the oil isnt too heavey i highly suggest this ball u wont be dissapointed first 3 games i threw 200 202 202 nice smell nice look nice reaction u couldnt ask for much more then this ball has i cant wait too c the next x factor if they can somehow improve on this one u should seriously be thinking about getting this ball my brother has a deuce and he thot he had the better ball unit he saw it in action :)

Ball: 15 lb., pin 3-7/8” Layout: Pin 2” from PAP, towards ring finger; CG towards grip center. Final weights 5/8 oz. positive side, 1/4 oz. finger, approx. 1-1/2 oz. top Bowler: Right-handed, getting old, medium speed, “rotationally-challenged”. Both ball and layout were selected primarily for an ABC-sanctioned “Sport” league condition, on relatively-new AMF synthetic lane surfaces: Varying lengths and patterns, but very flat conditions (no more than 2:1 ratio, center to edge ). The idea was to use a pearlized, medium-load particle coverstock with a low-flare, mellow, arcing layout, to provide CONTROL and predictability on flat oil patterns with freshly-stripped back-ends. On shorter Sport patterns, the ball was perfect out of the box. When the shot was outside, the ball could go straight down the boards and arc up without any trace of overreaction; and when the shot required deeper lines, even in my low-rev hand, the ball could play 4th or 5th arrow, and still turn the cor

I have this ball drilled to go long and snap in the backend. My pin is placed above my fingers. This ball has to be one of the hardest hitting balls i have thrown yet. This ball stores up so much energy in the heads and just explodes it all at the turn and hit point. Some times it hits so hard i leave solid 9 pins and other single pin counts, Only dislike of this ball is that on drier conditions the ball is just too snappy and flips way to early. but hey this ball was designed for oilier lanes. so dont try it on drier lanes. I give this ball a 9/10.. this ball is quite controlable but too snappy if you miss your mark. Good luck all you bowlers with this ball.

Received my reloaded about 2 weeks ago. Drilled it out right away. Ball came in with a 3-3.5 inch pin top weight 2.82. Layout used: Pin 4 3/4 from PAP, RAD 5 3/8 from PAP. This layout put the pin about 1 1/2 inches above my ring finger. The RAD is directly under my thumb. I was shocked to see that this ball out hooked my Deuce. Out hooked it by about 5 boards and rolled slightly earlier then the Deuce. It was very helpful that they sent the ball in with a dull finish. I have bowled on about 5 different patterns with this ball ranging anywhere from a house pattern to our 2 different challenge patterns. On hte house shot I was able to either stand left and come around the ball and open the lane up. The ball still had strong recovery and good guts. And I was also able to move right and back out of the ball and play up the boards. The ball still got through the front clean with a predictable but strong reaction down the lane. This is a great addition to the X-factor line.

Posted this on ballreviews.com as well. Heard that this was supposed to be the new heavy ball for Storm. I figured what the hell. I needed a replacement for my too heavy Freak Out. Got this drilled to go long, with a nice snap back end reaction with the pin about half an inch above the finger holes and to the right. The ball isn't very speed sensitive from what I've seen so far. Throw it hard and crank it and or throw it slow and tends to have the same reaction. When I threw it correctly I could stand two boards left of the last dot on the left, swing it out to about the 5 board and still come back and crush the pocket. I don't think it hits as hard as my freak out, but it is certainly far more controllable. Rating Hook - 9.0 out of 10.0 - Bowled only on medium light conditions, need to try a heavier shot Back End - 10.0 our of 10.0 - When thrown correctly this will snap for like theres no tomorrow. Control - 12.0 out of 10.0 - I tend to be very inconsiste
