Got the ball about a week ago.. I needed something that would get through the oil, but not over react on the backend, this ball fit the build perfect.. I had been throwing a Response and the fresh, and sometimes that ball was just a little to strong, and my Recovery had just a little to much skid flip. This ball did exactly what I wanted it to and more.. It enabled me to open up the lane and avoid playing the track when everyone else was in it.. Ball doesn't over react and has a very true roll.. If I tug the ball a little, it will hold and if I send it a little wide, it will try and make it back to the hole.. Very good peice...

After posting my last reveiw on the x factor duece i decided to polish it up............Bowling in my house, it's hard for me to keep my duece tame or any ball i own for that, but i decied to polish my duece to see how it would go and i was not disapointed. i threw it up the middle like i usualy do on the outside when it was stock and it hardly hooked and jus smashed the poket to peices. then i threw it outside around the tenth board... this tme it ame screaming back and smashed thepocket once again. thanx for eading yours truly. I got this one so that i could play on flooded lanes. Turns out it doesn't hook as much on long oil patterns. Had it drilled to roll early. Still not enough hook. Maybe i just need no adjust my throw so that it would not skid so much. This ball would be good for medium - heavy condition. Maybe that's why Storm issued the RELOADED. This is my first storm ball and i hope this would do me wonders. The fragrance is a bit strong but still tolerable. I'm just wonderin how long the smell would last. Haven't used it long enough so I might edit this review after a week. After two months: Had my Deuce sold. I think I'm not meant for a storm. Doesn't seem to work for me. I bought a Diesel a found it better than my Deuce.

this is the best ball i have so far and it hooks so much.every now and then it would leave a couple ten pins that i hate cause im not good at picking them up.but this ball is very predictable and forgiving.when this ball has clean backends with alot of oil mostly i the front and the mid-lnes the ball ball would grap good.i had to clean and polish the ball after 2 sessions cause i was leaving too many 8,9 pins when im in the pocket so now te ball is even betta but when u come just a lil high the 4 pin sometimes seem t be glued to the floor.now the ball seems to snap and hook more and i have betta carry.great ball by storm i might buy the re-loaded i hope its betta.

If you are looking for a good ball to rip through the pins this ball is for you. This ball comes sanded and for the way I throw thats just too much, I took it out of the box when I got it and took it straight to my ball spinner. I went crazy and threw on some diamond gloss but that was too much. I keep the surface around 1000 grit now and it works great. On wetter shots i can play straight and when the lanes start to wear down I can show off with my cross-lane action!!!

i normaly throw blaze and thats great but i needed somethin for a heavy oil, so i bought myself a deuce and im a 165 average so out of the box i shot 630 3 games and i qabsolutly love the ball, althougnh i normally throw a 14 its good for a heavy shot cuz im forced to lay the 15 down slower thus more hiti more hook and more action. i love the absolute power of th eball, very preadictable. onething though if its like the first x factor it will die out after 70 games probally and i am very mad about that

I went out and bought a Storm X Factor Deuce. I picked it up on the night of the bowling league and bowled a 610 series ( 189, 187 & 234). Hit hard and cuts through the heavy-medium oil. None, does what Storm promises it to do. The ball hits the pocket hard. I did leave some solid eights, but the ball made up for it when it hit the pocket light or heavy and gave me a strike. The blueberry smell is better than some of the others favor I have smelled. Overall, it is a great ball. I would buy it again.

Specs of ball - 16lb, 3.66 oz top weight and 4" pin. Drilled with pin above bridge and cg in center of palm. The mass bias is slighly bottom, left to the thumb. Out of box, this ball is too aggressive for me. I got it polished and its just a little bit tamer. I'm having a very tough time controlling this ball on house conditions, whether the lanes are oily or a little bit dry. The ball tends to leave ugly splits and mostly a ringing tenth pin split if it hit the pins too hard. Maybe this ball doesn't suit my style of bowling at all, unlike my good old X-factor. I don't give this ball the "deuce". I'll post another review for this ball once it's tamed and happened to suit my game in future.

this is the best ball in the world!!! second to none, nothing even comes close. its in a league of its own in bowling. Bowling companies everywhere now have a new standard to look up to. there is just too much to love about this ball. storm is an absolute genius. ITS GODS GIFT TO BOWLERS, I would give this ball more like 20 pins instead of just 10. I throw between the 2nd and 3rd arrows and the ball just does the rest. I will say that it has to have oil. definitly do not use on dry lanes can damage your ball, because of its aggressive bite on the lanes. it definitly will track up your ball if you throw on dry lanes.

As I have said in the past there is not one ball for all lane conditions. Again this is true with this ball. If any one buy a ball and thinks that that is the answer for all. Typically there not bowling to make any money. As for the rest of us that knows you not only have to change lines and equipment to score well this is a great ball. The hitting power is great. Very good lenght with a smooth break point to the pocket. As with the other balls you must keep your hand behind the ball to get the most out of it. For those of you who thinks this ball was not worth the money maybe you need to practice more and get your timing down, your arm swing the same and be more consistant at the line. All bowling ball manufactures make similar equipment now it is up to us to figure out what is best for our game and lane conditions.

I have six balls in my arsenal, all of which I like depending on the lane condition. The Duece won't rev up for me, just a very slow lateral spin on the ball. The original drill had the pin to the right of my ring finger and the cg kicked out about 2 inches. Had it redrilled with the pin under my ring finger and the cg kicked a tad and a low balance hole. None of the drills worked. If I play in the oil it just slides and if I get it into some dry it will rev up a little more but the ball doesn't it hard and sometimes it even rolls out. For me it is the worst ball I ever bought!!!!!!!!!<s

Excellent Buy... Worth every penny... I wasn't really sure what to expect because my wicked burned up and I thought it was my release and not my old ball, but after throwing the DEUCE, I am glad to say my release is great. In fact, I was able to throw the ball 15+ without sacrificing my back end reaction... AWESOME BALL!!!! Would recommend to anyone. Have not rolled on heavy oil condition yet but will be in a tournament soon enough. I also had ball drilled for maximum leverage with pin just right of ring finger and CG under palm and right by about an inch...

Personally, I didn't get much out of this ball. I could really only use it up the side as I tend to swing the ball more and when it hits it just doesn't carry as well as the original X-Factor. When the original X-Factor would rev up at the end it would have enough force and speed to drive through the pins, whether you hit good or not. This ball only seems to carry when you hit either really light or semi-light. It just does not carry anything when you hit perfect in the pocket. It doesn't have one of those great sounds either when it hits the pocket. I figure the ball could have been so much better. Gave it a second shot. Turns out it is quite good and I'll be looking to pick up another one unless I go for the X-Factor Reloaded. I moved right and threw a straighter up the lane shot, much like how I throw the Charcoal Executioner and it just blows the pocket away.
