Okay I got my Deuce drilled up and threw a few games with it, needless to say I am one happy camper. This ball flat out moves on the lane and mades a hard, clean, predictable break. I used the number1 set up from the sheet, maximum hook with a driving backend and that is exactly what I got. The lane did not have enough oil really to use the ball at its best, but it showed me more than enough to prove a keeper. I love the pin aciton off this ball, shot a 7 pin all the way back over off the gutter. It was a thing of beauty to watch roll, updated post after 50 games.

I wanted to throw this ball for some time before posting a review this ball is holding up great. However sucks oil up like a sponge but I heat it up oil comes out and works like it is brand new have about 40 to 50 games on it. It is holding up well and not tracking to much if you want a ball that works great for a long time I suggest the Deuce no doubt about it. This balls hits great reaction never lets me down loves lots of oil Gets the 200+ games I need to keep the avg above 210

No corner pins. great for low rev bowlers looking for a ball that will finish hard. Better for high rev bowlers looking for a better entery angle into the pocket. Kind of eratic on light oil lanes, very consistant on heavy oil.254 right out of the box with it, and still have not have had a game under 180 with it. Raised my average 7 pins because of the easier spares it leaves. Have had other people throw the ball and they went out and got their own. If there is one ball u want this year, make it this one. Don't spend the high dollar if your a casual bowler. Cover stock should last for a year and a half or 2. Play from any where on the lane, inside or outter lines to find the entry you like. for high speed bowlers this ball should play perfect for you( 15-21 ) low speed bowlers will have to move to a more out side line of a shot (under 15) take your time and enjoy the ball. your going to love it.

It is the best ball I have ever owned and I ve gone through many balls in my life time. If u have to buy one ball buy this one. I bowl non stop with this ball. The only thing I dont like is that it is not good on sport shot. Good on wood and synthetic lanes. Its is the only ball that i have bowled 300's with. This ball is so good I don't see it as a buy i see it as investement. It is good when sanded that is when i shot my 300

16 pounds Top Weight: 3.66 oz Pin out: 2.5-3 inches Ebonite Factory Finish This was the first Storm ball I drilled up in about two years. So I was alittle apprehensive before I put holes in it. But man, am I glad I did. I layout my Deuce 5 1/2" strong, this put the pin above my ring finger and the RAD about an inch or so right of my thumb. I finished up at a 1/2 positive I didn't have to take a hole out. I threw my Deuce with the out of box finish out in league, and I kept getting crossed up. I couldn't find the breakpoint at all. After league I went back and polished it up with Ebonite Factory Finish. What a difference. I went back out and saw a totally different ball. I could easily feed the ball the ball down the lane, and I knew exactly where the breakpoint was going to be. This ball does not quit when it gets to the breakpoint and makes its turn. It has such a hard rolling move that it I just love. Also on heavier oil, even with the Ebonite Factory Finish, th

Storm really pulled through with the x factor series. They recently added the Triple X factor ace which seems amazing on its own level. Now this deuce is an inexpensive ball that people are still raving about. Just look on the hompage of this website and you'll se it as one of the most reviewed balls. Its a great ball but it took me months to figure out what lane conditions and angles worked for it. Its a classic storm ball that is still worth trying out. Its one of those balls that people today are still throwing and even purchasing. If you are interested in an inexpesive classic then pick up the deuce and use some of that x-factor power.<sc

Storm really pulled through with the x factor series. ive thrown a couple of great game with it and noticed it was similiar to the great trauma er. It has more of a strong backend movement--which i do like. The only problem i really had is finding the right condition for the ball. For me the only shot i could throw it on is house or sport patterns. The ball can leave lots of pin scatter but i still dont use that much. I feel more consistant with the icon and diesel particle. The Deuce is better than the original but its tuff to find the right oil shot for it. But i u do find a nice house shot u will do AMAZING.

Excellent ball for heavy oil patterns, have yet to try it on any other conditions. Ball is drilled up using STORM layout 1(B). Had the ball drilled up by MIke Miller (PBA) at 10 Pins & More in Rio Rancho,NM (His Center). MIke is excellent at drilling custom shaped thumb holes, Highly recommended if you need this kind of help. Back to the ball, this ball is a monster through the pins, it just obliterates the pins, will try a light polish to see what happens next. Had this ball drilled up along with a STORM Eraser-PBT(another excellent ball). Excellent job STORM !

Been using the ball since the day it was released and it still plays like I just drilled it. Ball is able to do anything you ask out of it. Seems to carry all the time even when hitting light and rarely leaves any corner pins. Likes medium to heavy oil but doesn't care much for the drier stuff. I play the second arrow and it goes long with a nice break into the pocket. Sanded the ball down since I have a little more speed on the ball than most people and normal revs. Over all i would say this is the best ball Ive ever owned.

2.5-3" pin, 2.86oz top, drilled pin at about 2:30 to ring 3 3/8", CG 3 3/4, RAD in thumb, 3/4oz pos. side weight, 1/4oz finger weight. This ball does for me what no other ball ever has, it allows me to swing the ball a bit, I was thowing over 15-16 at the line, 11-12 at arrows out to about the 7 at break point. Ball saves energy much better than I expected for a ball that rolls so heavy in the midlane, I was concerned that it might not hit as hard as my other balls which are all 15#, concerns are long gone cause this ball crushes the rack harder than either my Shock Trauma and Boost do. It not only hits hard but I have never had so many messengers, the pins stay low and spin all over the place. I have only had a chance to bowl 7 games with it so far but in those games I have averaged 21 pins higher than normal with a 213, 256, 275 / 744 first time out of the bag. Second night out was on medium condition with slippery backend and was a bit dry for this ball but I still had a 788 4 ga

I bowled at Westbury Bowl and never knew how to use this type of ball because I depended on so much hook to come from all of my equipment. However, bowling at Sheridan Bowl with this ball proved to me that sending the ball out and trusting it's slow arc is the best way to go. You won't fail and leave crazy pins in the back row. Just trust your shot and this ball! The more the oil the more one has to compramise their speed but the reaction from the ball will usually stay very strong. Therefore, learn to adapt with it's angles and slow turn, because the ball WILL finish strong.

i used to bowl only with brunswick but now that storm has came out with the deuce, i will never go back to brunswick again. as long as storm keeps making hard hitting balls i will bowl with them from now on. i have never had a ball that stores up so much energy and just crushes the pocket every time. it's my best ball in the bag. honsetly i want to get another deuce and drill it differently and see if it will hit the same or hopefully even better. then i will get to see if it is really the best ball i have.

Got the ball about a week ago.. I needed something that would get through the oil, but not over react on the backend, this ball fit the build perfect.. I had been throwing a Response and the fresh, and sometimes that ball was just a little to strong, and my Recovery had just a little to much skid flip. This ball did exactly what I wanted it to and more.. It enabled me to open up the lane and avoid playing the track when everyone else was in it.. Ball doesn't over react and has a very true roll.. If I tug the ball a little, it will hold and if I send it a little wide, it will try and make it back to the hole.. Very good peice...
