I picked this ball up for $50 from a friend that got it at the end of a league. I had the ball drilled up for the max aggressive reaction. The first time I used the ball my pin count went up about 20-30 pins. I usually throw down the second arrow and adjust from there as lane conditions let up. For some odd reason I find this ball very unpredictable. One minute you are crushing the pocket the next your hitting broklyens. I have found with this ball most of my strikes are broklyens but when you hit the pocket it is devastating to the pins. So far my local alley has had to polish my ball several times due to the fact the ball recieved scuff marks from the pins. This ball is for med to heavy oil, never play on dry conditions because you will be hooking out of the building.

I origionally bought this ball because my Colossus Pearl coudnt make the corner in heavy oil conditions. Basically I got a brand new CP with a little earlier breakpoint and grip in oil. The great thing about this ball is that it rips through pins better than my CP. I carry the 10 pin about 80% of the time when I hit the pocket. The thing I love most is the margin of error for this ball. It will recover when I throw to the right. It also carries heavy hits better than my CP for some reason. My only complaint about this ball is that you can't open up the lanes with the ball in heavy oil. I wind up sliding on center and playing second arrow. But as long as it works for me I don't mind. I would highly recommend this ball to anyone.

Great ball. I was recommended this ball as a first reactive ball and I have shaken the hand of the pro shop owner ever since. In 6 months it has driven my game from a 150 to 170 and above average. Hitting 200's 1/3 of 3 game series The fun side to this ball is seeing my 18 month old girl sniffing it and laughing cause of the smell.. Its a simple ball to get the hang of but the ease of control when the lane conditions vary and your reaction point is varying to really great. I know fo people who have a new ball every 6 months and I know for a fact I wont be changing mine!

This the best ball I have ever bought to date.It is also the smoothest and most controlable ball I have ever bought. It hits like a wrecking ball.It has exellent carry. And it smells great.I have never thrown or even heard of a high end ball that is so versitle,Especially a dull ball.To me this ball is perfect, exept for the ocational split. This ball does leave an irregular amount of splits.Otherwise I really have no complaints. OH by the way the site may say the ball is for medium oil,but its really for medium-heavy oil.

now I have bowled 65-70 games wiith this ball and today I bowled my highest game ever with this ball. It was a 297! I was on fire with my machanics and everything and even when i missed my mark a litle bit the messanger took care of it. I bowled the 297 in the third game. I bowled a 190 the first and a 248 in the second for a 735 series. That is my high series too. I even dare to day that this ball is better than the x factor. I only say that because this ball is the most aggresive ballbut the x factor is still the most hard hitting and predictable ball I have in my arsenal.

What an amazing ball; truly the best ball out there. If you can't make 10 pins however, then throw more of an inside line. If you don't hit the pocket perfectly; you'll be left with the 10, 4, or 8 pin. I just rolled a 540 triple on wood lanes; at a really dry oil condition. Imagine the roll on an oily condition; more accurate and controllable.. add 30-50 more pins per game. An amazing ball! WOW Storm, thanks for creating yet another masterpiece. My buddy is buying an Eraser Blaze, and so I should be able to writeup another review on that one when the time comes. Cheers Storm!

I used this ball in my Sunday league and I was surprised with the results. I rolled a 163,193,249 for a 605 series! I also almost bowled a 300 with this ball 2 weeks later with a 278. This ball hits hard and is so predictable with its down the lane similar to the x factor. All this ball needs is oil on the lanes and it will hit the pins like a truck. Also if you hit the pins a little too high or low the messanger will help correct your mistakes. Overall I feel this ball is worthy of being in the storm brand!!!

overall a great ball. Didnt really like the fact that it doesnt recover that well on flooded conditions, but what ball does?. Worked best for me on combination lanes with a medium to heavy oil layout. Haven't shot a 300 yet but have gotten real close. Also shot my best series with this ball (735). Looking to get another one since my other deuce is scuffed and had a really bad dull job once(220 home-sanding). Maybe a resurface will do it some good. I always get lots of compliments when using this ball, no matter what house im in. Thank you Storm for such a great ball and I look forward to getting similar results in up and coming balls.

what a great ball from storm. the x factor line is the best one around. this ball was simply great for me. i havent went to any tournaments yet but i am going to soon and i am sure this will be the first ball i throw on the lanes. nothing can stop me and this ball as a great combination. i am now getting the reloaded then the fear factor. these is the perfect line for me. now i must feel up space by simply typing stuff that dosnt really need to. gosh i dont understand why they dont make these shorter but oh well thats just how it must go

My Deuce is 16lbs with a 3-4" pin out distance and it's drilled label, with the RAD in the track. I wanted the RAD in strong position, but anyway the Deuce rolls strong for a resin, it's also very even and controllable. It plays straighter up on heavier oils pretty well, just keep the speed consistent and it will arc into the pocket. Unless you like to cover alot of boards it's not recommended to play on lighter oils. Although the Deuce doesn't have any trouble getting up and arcing back into the pocket if played deeper than the 4th arrow. The hit is pretty explosive but the carry is a little suspect. All in all this is a pretty good ball for a bowler who doesn't like particles and needs a early rolling piece of equipment.

This ball is amazing! No matter how hard I throw this ball, it hooks like crazy and hits the pocket hard. It is very consistent and forgiving. It has great mid-lane roll. It will leave a ten pin if you come in at too wide of an angle. I have had this ball for 5 weeks and have encreased my average by 25 pins. The Duece can be used on dry lanes if you are strong enough to throw it consistently. I don't recommend it If your not not strong enough or tire easliy...put it away and go for the plastic/polyester ball. My poor HAMMER has'nt seen a lane in weeks!

ACCU-Tread™: Our most aggressive reaction reactive coverstock. RAD™ Motion Control™ Technology: Radial Accelerating Dual Density Disk. Like its predecessor, the X Factor DEUCE™ combines the exceptional RAD™ technology with aggressive ACCU-Tread™ Solid Coverstock to generate a stronger mid-lane move while maintaining continuous back-end drive. Dynamically spun to ensure exact Mass Bias markings, the DEUCE provides a multitude of drilling options for more accurate reaction characteristics. great back end reaction good to use if inferno isnt getting job done however cant really play a direct line because its so aggesive none the less, the ball is great for the oilier conditions and gives you a strong back end reaction

I wanted to throw this ball for some time before posting a review this ball is holding up great. However sucks oil up like a sponge but I heat it up oil comes out and works like it is brand new have about 40 to 50 games on it. It is holding up well and not tracking to much if you want a ball that works great for a long time I suggest the Deuce no doubt about it. This balls hits great reaction never lets me down loves lots of oil Gets the 200+ games I need to keep the avg above 210
