Storm Triple Xtreme X-Factor Bowling Ball

(36 reviews) Write a Review

We've taken the Triple X Factor to the Xtreme... the Triple XTREME™ that is! This ball generates a massive amount of torque and will make the corner on even the toughest of conditions. This is accomplished by combining our world-class ACCU-tread™ solid reactive coverstock, preparing it to an 800-grit satin finish, then wrapping it around the dynamic RAD3™ weight block. The satin ACCU-tread™ builds higher friction in the mid-lane. The RAD3™ creates a strong preferred spin axis that in tandem, make the Triple XTREME really "lean" toward the pocket. If you take your game seriously and want that edge, then take your game to the XTREME!

this balls sucks. it is very unforgiving and it doesnt work well on snthetics i rolled this ball for 3 games and i had a 154, 198, and a 199, then i pick up my orig x factor and i throw a 300 and a 214 and a 299. and the oild i was throwing it on was a heavy oil pattern. this ball is not even worth its weight in shit!!! thats all i can say if your gonna bye a new ball get the columbia 300 icon2 or the bully. but if you want storm get the x factor!

Layout: 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 Surface: box condition I was really hoping to have a phenomenal heavy oil ball with this thing, but I was sadly mistaken. This thing might be great on different conditions, but I've taken it to three different houses and have been fairly unimpressed at each one. The ball slides if there is any oil and jumps in the dry. I have found it to be one heck of an over/under ball. Obviously, the way a ball is drilled can greatly change its performance. The near leverage drill on this ball might have been too much for the xxx xtreme. I will say that when I polished it, this was a suitable medium oil to medium-light oil ball.

STORM IS BY FAR THE BEST! LOVE THE DEUCE, I WAITED FOR SOMETHING OTHER THEN THE TRIPLE X BEING A PEARL WOULD NOT WORK FOR ME. STORM DID NOT DISAPPOINT! DRILLED LAYOUT #2 NO WEIGHT HOLE NEEDED.LET ME START BY SAYING I THROW A FAST BALL 24 MPH BUT WITH HIGH REVS I OVER POWER MOST BALLS OUT THERE. NOT THIS ONE VERY STRONG ROLL ,AND VERY AGGRESSIVE MOVE AT THE BREAK POINT . SEEMS TWO CARRY BETTER FOR ME WHEN I DON'T SWING IT OUT TO 10 BOARD THE BALL JUST COMES SCREAMING BACK AND HITS TO HARD IF THATS POSSIBLE!! I DID HIT THE TRACK WITH A GREEN SCOTCH PAD ,ONLY THE TRACK JUST FOR A LITTLE MORE GRIP AT THE BREAK POINT.AWSOME BALL!!!!!

I fell in love with this ball the first time i threw it. It carries everything and you get a handfull of messengers to the ten pin. You can really use this ball on almost any conition as long as the lanes aren't "bone dry". It seems like the faster you throw this ball, the better off you are. It rolls beautifuly. But don't miss inside or you will be punished. I've only had this ball for a few days and it is, with out a doubt, the best ball i have ever thrown. The Triple XXX Xtreme is a great ball for anyone with at least medium speed and a medium rev rate.

Got this ball 15lbs 3 ounces with 3.86 ounces of top weight and a 4 1/4" pin(identical to my re-loaded). Had it drilled by Mike Miller(PBA) of 10 pins and more in Rio Rancho, NM(he drills all my equipment), the ball is laid out with the pin over ring finger and CG and RAD kicked out to right of thumb(1 1/2"_ with a small weight hole 6" from CL of grip. The ball is excellent on long oil, it demolishes the rack similarly to my XXX. It has excellent recovery and great carry. Another great product from STORM!

I drilled two of these. First one has the RAD 5 3/4 from my PAP and the pin 3 3/8 from my PAP (PAP is 4 3/4 up 3/8) with the pin 2 1/2 above my midline. A balance hole was needed and I put it 45 degrees from the center of my grip toward the thumb quadrant. Only went 3 inches down this line and drilled a 13/16 bit 3 inches deep. This layout allowed the ball to push thru the fronts clean and rev heavy down the lane. I decided I wanted to get this ball to pick up just a bit sooner on the lane so I increased the weight hole to a 7/8 bit. This got the ball to tilt a few feet sooner. The ball had know quit. After using it I felt I may need a ball that reads the lane real early. I drilled another one and this time I put the pin 4 1/4 from my PAP, the RAD 4 1/4 from my PAP, and the pin is 1 1/4 above the midline of my grip. By keeping the pin closer to the midline allows the ball to read the lane earlier along with the position of the RAD. A balance hole was placed 20 degrees from the middle

This ball is ridiculous!!! I added it to my arsenal a few days ago and cannot believe the results I'm getting. I had it drilled with the pin slightly below and to the right of my ring finger and the CG about 4" below the pin, with a weight hole. I don't know what you call this drilling pattern, but I call it awesome. I generally was throwing this from the 6th dot, out over the 3rd arrow and it was very clean through the front, read the midlane beautifully and once it hit the drier backend it made a left turn like a fat man into a donut store. The pin action was insane, they were flying all over the deck. Sometimes they collapsed like a house of cards and other times like a cluster bomb went off in their midst. I have never thrown a better ball in my life. I also have the Triple X-Factor and this ball makes the perfect compliment to it. With these two balls I can now play almost any condition other than really dry. I recently polished the ball with Black Magic and am very pleas

i drill this ball with the pin above the ring finger and cg kicked out. this ball got down the lane hit the pocket hard. i didn't see the ball over react at all. this ball is one more great one from storm. i have not tried this one on dry lanes but i don't think you should use this one on any thing but heavy or medium oil. if you own a XXX- factor this ball will go great with it. if you come pair the two with the same drill the this ball will go longer before it makes the left turn.

15# drilled with pin 5" from axis,cg1"from grip center line, rad inline with cg and pin about 3"from thumbhole. ball revs up strongly off my hand and gets thru front of lane super clean. ball got to midlane and began the strongest "rolling flip" I have ever gotten out of a ball. the reaction toward the pocket is a great blend of roll and hook carry was great, flush hits carried because of the roll, light hits because of the flip. one tip for anyone getting any ball, make sure the driller you use is up to date on drilling these monsters. spend the extra money and go to a certified proshop. storm has alot of r+d in these balls don't let just anyone pop holes into it,the results will most likely be disappointing. thanks storm for another great ball '

WE DRILLED THIS ONE FOR ONE OF OUR REGULARS. STACKED DRILLING, LEFT IT FACTORY FINISH. WE WATCHED HIM BOWL ON A FRESH HOUSE SHOT, SYNTHETIC LANES. THIS BALL REALLY IMPRESSED US. HE GETS GOOD ROTATION ON THE BALL AND HE WAS PLAYING A LITTLE INSIDE THE OIL LINE, I WOULD SAY BETWEEN 13 AND 15. HE STRUCK FOREVER. BALL MADE A NICE MIDLANE ROLL AND CONTINUED ON TO THE POCKET. BALL ALSO APPEARED TO BE VERY SMOOTH, A NICE TRANSITION FROM SKID TO ROLL, THE HITTING POWER WAS TREMENDOUS, NO CORNERS AND THE HALF POCKET HITS HAD NO CHANCE, HE WAS THROWING THE 5 PIN ACROSS THE DECK. VERY NICE ADDITION TO THIS XXX LINE, WILL BE INTERESTED IN SEEING OTHER STYLES THROW IT AND ALSO HOW IT WILL REACT SHINED. WILL POST ANOTHER REVIEW WHEN MORE INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE.
