the ball is very clean through the heads and reads the midlane well and when it gets to the backend it turns hard with a smooth strong arc and keeps it energy through the pocket. if you hit the pocket your not gonna leave anything standing. this ball by far is my most versatile and best carrying ball in my bag. If i had to i could play down and in or deep over the 4th arrow out to 5 and still hit the pocket strong. everyone has a place for this ball in there arsenal The only negative is the soft coverstock which makes this ball a great performer can nick somewhat easily, but don't let it stop you from using it.

THIS BALL WAS GIVEN TO ME BY MY FRIEND HES LIKE IT WONT HOOK ANYMORE SO I BAKED IT NOW ITS A EVEN LIGHT OIL BALL. ITS SIMILAR TO A VIBE BY HAMMER JUST IT HOOKS EARLIER AND THE CARRY IS BETTER THIS BALL CARRIES LIGHT FLUSH HIGH BROOKLYN EVERYTHING ALSO I LOVE HOW ITS NOT SNAPPY LIKE HOW MY HRG FROM LANE ONE IS. ALSO THIS BALL HAS LASTED 3 YEARS AND STILL HAS 3/4 OF ITS ORIGINAL POWER AND HOOK POTENTIAL, ANYONE HAVE ANOTHER ONE LET ME KNOW OR ANYONE AT GUTTORMSONS IN KENOSHA WANT TO GET RID OF A BALL TALK TO ME MARK MORAN

I got this ball used and changed a few things on it. I added a flare increasing hole and added a oval slug and inserts. this ball is long and strong, and there's nothing else to it. This is a really strong ball that storm has produced. I think they have a winner with this coverstock. If you can pick one up, do it! This ball is highly recomended, and now I know why. See your local proshop director and ask him/her about this ball, if you pick one up, you won't be disappointed with this one.

This ball is freakin sweet. The ball reads realy smooth, makes a nice clean turn to the back, and then crushes the pocket. I dont think i have ever seen a ball that reads and hits so clean like this for a person who hits the ball a ton in my life. The ball looks so good going down lane its almost like your bowling on glass. Wonderful wonderful glass. I personally havent met anyone who doesnt like this ball. It just rocks. Totally worth the money, and then some. I love my layout too long, smooth, and strong. Way to make a great ball Storm.

I bought this ball to give me a hockey-stick type reaction on medium to heavy lanes. The other X-Factors all hooked fairly well, and I thought this one would have the backend I was looking for. I was dead wrong! This ball did nothing, literally. I easily got more hook from my urethane hammer than this. When I straightened out my shot (definitely not my forte) I got semi-good carry, but still left a lot of 10-pins. I'd recommend this ball to stokers and guys who don't like to hook the ball. It seems to work well for folks who like to dump it up second arrow and let it tail into the pocket. That's simply not my shot.

Just another excellent X Facotor ball from Storm, dam this line is a good one. The ball comes witha good amount of polish, which I took down. Great roll on it and hits like a monster, like most x factor balls. Great ball for a delay on that curve when you need it. You can use it as a cranker or stroker, the ball is a little sensitive on hand spot, but what high end ball is not right. I have used it mainly on league shots and some heavy oil shots, neer had a problem with it, just a great ball to have.

Even if you miss your mark this balls revs give you enough snap to get you back on track, and mind you this is on a sport shot. Ball has a fantastic hit and a good backend. Very versatile also if i may add, you can either play this ball straight up the arrow or throw it out and it still hits hard. Both shots carry the 10 pin very well. Do not pull this ball, although it is forgiving on an outside shot, that is because of such a hard snap bak in, and the way these lanes are oiled with a dryer middle, that hard hook wont be working towards your advantage on a pull.Besides pullling it,the only thing that will throw your game off is it is a speed sensitive ball. If you cannot compensate the rev rate with the the speed this is guarenteed to wash out. Too slow and it will hit good ol Brook. Also a very hard brooklyn hitter if i may add. Overall a fantastic ball, just be careful so that you dont pull it and watch that speed, otherwise just keep an eye out for a "f

This ball is great in it's element I canot say when i've been so pleased with a ball it's not a benchmark ball by any means but when the conditions call for it WOW you just can'y beat it. I've had two of these monsters and all I can say bad about it is it's soft coverstock it will mark up quick. If your hose is rough on balls be warned , my house tore one up past saving and had to be put to rest. Fortunenatly they replaced it with alittle bit of political posturing. The replacement is not quite as perfect as the first but thats how the ball rolls I'm still howling every time I twirl this beauty.

Great ball. for bowlers who like to let it rip, this is an outstanding ball. The weight block technology these days are simply amazing. surprised how effortless it was to throw. Amazing carry if you can get the ball down the lanes...will come back and destroy pins. carried light shots well...just make sure to trust it and give it some room, cause it will flip like crazy... Used storm pin-out drilling (pin is out 4.5") layout #5. Even though I'm excited with my initial thoughts on the ball, I would like to see how ball reacts when lanes are loaded with oil.

Well this was the first good ball i ever bought never made a review. Ball has great recovery sometimes overpowering due to my high revs. Ball is extreemly sensitive to condition if it ain't med or med heavy oil put it away quick :) well the only thing i do not like about this ball is the coverstock can not take a beating at all. i have huge nicks and also bridge cracked and it cracked around the fingers creating a huge hole which did need plugging and redrilling. a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a aa a a a a aa

My first one had a screwed up drilling (drilled to go long and was complete shit!). When I moved up a weight to 15, it had a decent drillng on it (I dont know much about drilling so I cant tell you how it was done!) and it made this ball an absolute pleasure to bowl with!! You can usually catch me playing a nice inside line is awesome with this baby...I just send it out and watched it come on back to the pocket! Carries everything beautifully...Highly recommended to anyone who is a fan of Storms Master Line

the ball is the best to have . Storm makes great balls and this is one of there best balls i like everything about this ball. it carries, hit hard and pushes all the pin to the back everytime. their is nothing Bowl America lkjuyilooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Brunswick Bulldog Products Circle Athletics Columbia 300 Dyno-Thane Eagle Group Ebonitetu4iry2u4ihriu4y4u4nrtkrhtkjtrifkuhgwiygweiytgweofje5wh riorygwrehfwkt scygd rug.mfhip9urngoure wrtouhrwkjwrtiwebj,twi3lkehladjt5 ygh g43hgrkbekgbwrkerlnvekhgrlkghrtogjwrepgneronerothgerwlkgh4t0gnetpi4gporej45oiugherljkheornb3regn3gjwrf3rhfnlwqdh2eklncqsljhtgwrle;,rtrwe ewhgerhvwjkfg2ekhdwutfaskfdhjxfqaDQRRTEHINZ CXRIUF0REJGKJLEHGELJBHEKJBWRIHTBLKH6H35L7603O4PJH506-T40J65-P97Y5HG09VYI46097JU45OP8YU45P9GIJ56-0470864U754[OPYJ5[PJU7M-69OH5IUNG[O54KG56POIHMN5YOJUHJ4TR;LG Elite Bowling International Hammer Bowling Insite Bowling Ball Co. Drilled 3 3/8x3 3/8. This ball provides an option on almost every condition except for extreme oil. Even on dry lanes I find the XXX clears the heads with ease, and almost never over-reacts on the backend. When oil goes long, lots, or both the ball will not come up so well, and this thing needs some dry boards to react, so if carrydown is present, the ball will get squrilly, and not mantain a consistant reaction. Overall, this is an exelent benchmark ball for almost all house conditions, as well as most tourny and sport shots as well.<scrip

I have other storm balls but the triple x is my favorite by far. I was a hammer man but now I'm a storm man. This ball is good on many conditions. Except very dry lanes. The ball hook too much on dry lanes. Like I said shot my first 300 with this ball. Plus my average is up 18 pins. Ball hits hard and carrys well even the ten pins. So if you want a really great ball this is the one. I think it"s the best ball that storm makes. I have the Ace the vertigo and re-load the truma, but this one beats them all.

this is a follow up review from my first post of this ball. On my first review, i had a factory 1500 grit polish. as time has gone on, i have become stronger and been able to get more speed and revs on this ball. this resulted in the ball going a little too long and hooking too late. i decided to sand this monster of a ball down to 1000 grit. also i now play a much straighter line with a faster ball speed. however, this ball is still a beast, even though i have become stronger and get more revs on the ball. my average is consistantly around 185-190 with this ball... the only complaint i have about this ball is how much it slides on oily conditions. to combat this, i have ordered a Vertigo. in fact, im waiting for its arrival this very moment. back to the Triple X, i really cant say flooded lanes are a dislike, because this ball simply isnt for flooded lanes. it is meant for medium to heavy, not heavy. anyways, the ball still revs up strong and still makes a strong move to t

From day one I had great hopes for this ball. Drilled to my hand it hooked like no other ball I'd ever thrown. It just didn't last, with all the hope and lasting dreams one might have the Triple X did what I never had happen before. It stopped hooking and started to roll with No back End. Call Storm worked with Pro shop even had other bowlers throw ball and No one had any better luck. Sent back to Storm hoping for a good word and was told must be the bowler or the way I throw, The Last Storm Ball I ever buy. Thank you Storm for a worthless ball

Took a chance with this one. Drilled to go long and snap. It is a great ball all around. Mainly it's my benchmark ball. It's given me my first 700 series. It's not for extreme conditions either way for me. It reacts very well to speed and hand adjustments and reads the lane very well. Very good ball from Storm. You can tell when to bag this ball. I've thrown up the twig all the way to the fourth arrow. A must for medium house shots. XXX Factor makes you look good. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX I wish I'd bought it sooner.

this ball is possibly the most versatile ball from the x-factor line. drilled this ball for pretty much a benchmark layout, with the RAD to the right of the thumb and the pin 4 1/2 from my PAP. this ball revs up very strong and delivers an explosive backend reaction. this ball improved my average by an amazing 30 pins. this ball is well worth the high price tag. unfortunately, dry lanes are its nemesis, so put it away on dry, move left, or change your spot. i have over 150 games on mine and it's still going strong with the normal recommended maintenance. recommend this ball for almost anyone, except novices. no offense to them tho. will review again if i have the time

Well, my love for the Infernos are gone. I opened the door for storm once again and i'm glad i finally switched. I was tired of how unpredictable the infernos were becoming and how they left too many corners. Once i got my X-Factor Ace i fell in love with storm again. To compliment an already amazing ball i decided to pick up the rather popular Triple X. I know so many people who through it and how they like it so much. When my Ace is hooking too much or is reacting weird then i take out the triple x factor. It is great for house shots and if you want to play mid-lane. The ball flares and revs much higher than most out of my arsenal, which is great for load of pin-action. It goes down real long then hits hard. Remember that this ball keeps the energy down the lane. However, if you miss right on lots of oil it won't recover. This ball is a good pick-up and is now a strong addition to my line-up of bowling balls. Right now if you want the ultimate Storm product arsenal it should be the V

It always gets me when people say it leaves single pins. Folks, it's the way YOU roll it! Also, do not give me this it's good for 30-50 games either, it's more than likely you don't keep up on the conditioning of your ball either! Used this ball for various tournaments and sport shot league and have to say it does deliver as expected. Have kept the surface polished between 1000-1500 and it still gives me great games. The drill layouts are on target for the different type of rollers. Would have to say this is the 2nd best, Trauma ER being the best, that Storm has made today.

it´s a perfect ball for medium oil conditions. throw at the third arrow and i can´t believed it,wow what a backend reaction,so hard and powerfull..... looks like great too.Awesome ball!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If your looking for a new ball do not overlook this . When the Triple XXX hits the pocket it destroy everything!!! Killerball!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it´s the one and only Triple XXX....... another super ball from Storm. i use now for heavy oil lane condition the Track "RULE" and for medium lane conditions the Storm "Triple X Factor" i thing it´s a good combo... XXX Factor, XXX Factor, XXX Factor, XXX Factor.

i drilled this one 4" from my pap and added a balance hole down by my thumb hole cg is kicked out to the right. this ball proves that ebonite and hammer make the best balls. my polished blade reactive is so much better than this ball and cost $60 dollars cheaper. now i know y my friend who owned it before got rid of it. storm has not inpressed me so far and im probably not going to buy another one. no ball storm has come out with fits my style. they need some difference in their bowling balls cuz they seem to all react the same.

Every ball on the market will become obsolete because of this ball. STORM rules. They have developed a ball that players of all skill levels can use, and be successful with. This XXX Factor will be the only ball in my bag, and it should be the only one in yours, too! You won't be sorry. This thing hits like a ton of bricks, and then some. Light hits carry. High hits carry. Brooklyn hits, well, we'll have to see about that. Touch the pocket, and go sit down. Simple as that. You'll be amazed the way the pins scatter across the lane, and how low they stay. You want to clear the decks? Get this ball.

I started on the 25 board and sent it to 10 board and the ball responded great. I had a track right into the pocket. I finally had the opportunity to throw a ball that followed the track I was used to be play. The pro shop that drilled my bowling ball had a good handle on what there products could do and seemed to select the right ball for the right bowlers. Storm has a great web site that contains load of helpful hints and also includes streaming video clips. I believe Storm has good marketing plan and will be one of the top leading manufactures for many years to come.

Played this Ball for almost half a Year now. Till 3 Months ago it was my Favorite, now it doesn´t react that good anymore. I think I´ll have it sanded next week.. maybe it will recover from that.. But all in all a VERY good Ball! If after Sanding no recovery, I´ll buy a new one. Its worth the Money. I already baked it in my Oven. It got rid of some Oil and the reaction was better afterwards. But 3 weeks later it was the same minimal reaction as before.. It is a pity that these Balls are so expensive in Germany and then dont last a long time..(got an AMF MJ slam that still hooks like the first time...)
