RAD Ingenious in design, the RAD (Radial Accelerating Dual Density Disk) Motion Control Technology generates a differential of .013 between the "Y" and "Z" axis. WEIGHT BLOCK Comprised of lighter materials this weight block works in tandem with its unique shape to enhance the influence of the RAD. REV BLOCK Achieving a lower radius of gyration and optimum entry angle is accomplished by anchoring the rev block to the bottom of the weight block. COVERSTOCK Using 33% less MICA than other pearlized reactive coverstocks, the ACCU-Tread™ Mystic Pearl contains a balanced uniformity which increases overall consistency and unleashes explosive backend energy. X FACTOR The X Factor is the new standard of excellence and its exceptional engineering lends to a multitude of drilling options and reaction characteristics that cater to a bowler's specific needs.

This ball is hit or miss. I'll bowl a 200+ game with the ball being very controlable and then the very next game hits 5-6 splits giving me a 150 and lower game, to having another 200+ third game. I've never had a ball so inconsistent every other game. It drives me crazy. I have an old hammer that I've used for a long time that will come back out of the bag as my #1 ball if this piece of junk doesn't start becoming consistant. My bets are on my hammer coming back out very soon. I'll give this one a few more weeks since I paid so much for it.

THE BALL HITS LIKE A MACK WITH TREMENDOUS POWER BUT YOU DO NOT WANT TO THROW THIS BALL ON DRY LANES OR IT WILL JUST TAKE OFF ON YOU SO BE CAREFUL THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN THROW THIS BALL ON DRY LNE CONDITIONS IS IF YOU HAVE A LOT OF POWER BEHIND THE BALL. THE FIRST TIME I THREW IT IT TOOK OFF ON ME BECAUSE I THREW IT SLOW BUT ONCE I SPEEDED THE BALL UP I TORE THE POCKET UP I LEFT TWO SINGLE PINS IN THE ONE GAME I THREW IT AND THEY WERE THE 8 AND 9 PIN

I'm just an average bowler with medium speed. This ball significantly increased my average to 140s/150s. Normally my average has been around 120 to 130s. Recently, to my suprise, with this ball I scored my first 250. Thus it gave me a high degree of confidence in my game. Storm has done a good job again. This ball will remain my favourite ball for a long time. If I roll this ball correctly with the right speed, it seems to find the way to the pocket on its own and scatter the pins. A friend of mine said the nice chocolate scent reminds him of a chocolate cake!!!

BEST BALL EVER. HAD TO THE BALL FOR 2 MONTHS. MY AVERAGE IN THREE LEAGUES HAS GONE UP 3-5 POINTS. ONCE YOU FIND THE LINE, YOU CAN BOWL THERE FOREVER ( JUST SLIGHT MOVEMENT LEFT OR RIGHT, UP OR DOWN FOR FINE TUNING). JUST BOWLED 706, 580, 630, 668 AND 669 SERIES. HIT THE POCKET 98 PERCENT OF THE TIMES. (AVERGAED 9.5 PINS ON MY FIRST BALL). MIGHT HAVE BEEN EVEN HIGHER, IF I HAD MORE LUCK. HAVE BOWLED IN DRY, MEDIUM AND HEAVY OILCONDITIONS, WITH EXCELLENT RESULTS. AM CONFIDENT I WILL BOWL MY FIRST 300 OR 800 SERIES WITH THIS BALL. NOTE: ERASER BLAZE IS AN EXCELLENT BACKUP.

15# Drilled 3 3/8 x 75 degree, MB in strong position. Axis 4 3/8 by 1/8 down. Pin 2" above ring finger. A truely amazing ball. Storm has really put out a great product. If you liked the original Trauma, you'll probably like the X as well. The ball is amazing. I am quite impressed with the versitility of the XFactor as far as the variety of lane conditions and types of lanes it can perform well on. However, watch out for short patterns, and burnt heads. I've found that the ball becomes much more even and will try to roll up early on you.<scri

When I purchased this ball. Some people at the house said not to drill it with enourmous finger weight. I did and have not regretted it so far. The ball is aggressive. It gets very good rotation. And I thought nobody would ever say but if I didnt get good lift on the ball it just went dead. I was 3 for 3 on 7 pins with the X-Factor. The pin was 3-3.5 so that might have something to do with it. I love this ball and promised myself that the only balls I will purchase from now on are the newest strom releases because if this company keeps up this kind of work I would not mind shelling out $135 a ball.

People with dislikes about this ball need to either learn how to throw the ball right with tht right mechanics of the game. And anyone complaining about the conditions should now that this is a medium oil ball. For heavy oil try something like a core power LRG or for thick oil try the Shock Trauma. Light oil throw something like an Eraser Boost or one of the Big Hits. Last for all you X-Factor loving freaks keep bowling, get better, and most important above all else is to keep kickin those damn ten pins down. X-Factor for life!

I recently had my favorite ball ever crack on me..(Thunder Road Pearl) dont know why it did. I hope this steps up and takes its spot..with the only 3 games I shot with it I can tell I'll shoot big with this ball,It covers a lot of wood and hits very hard...I noticed once it got a little track on it ,it rolled much smoother to the hole,no herky jerky...kind tamed down, but didnt loose its punch at all....I hope I can post another review soon ,but with some big scores... until then, Paco<scrip
