RAD Ingenious in design, the RAD (Radial Accelerating Dual Density Disk) Motion Control Technology generates a differential of .013 between the "Y" and "Z" axis. WEIGHT BLOCK Comprised of lighter materials this weight block works in tandem with its unique shape to enhance the influence of the RAD. REV BLOCK Achieving a lower radius of gyration and optimum entry angle is accomplished by anchoring the rev block to the bottom of the weight block. COVERSTOCK Using 33% less MICA than other pearlized reactive coverstocks, the ACCU-Tread™ Mystic Pearl contains a balanced uniformity which increases overall consistency and unleashes explosive backend energy.
Please someone save Storm. It is so hard for me to endure this latest dissapointment. I will say this. I think they are close to getting it right though. The core seems to rev up easily ans smoothly. Nice track flare. But the coverstock is like having bald tires with a 1000 horsepower motor powering it. Too bad. It is a bad core to cover combo. Now keep your eyes peeled for the next generation of the X-Factor. I am really excited about it. If indeed it is coming out. If they get the cover right on this baby watch out. It could be down right scary. A pearlized cover stock on this ball could be devastating. Keep a lookout for the next version of this ball. I am sure Storm will fix their mistakes.

This ball is ok. I bought it a few weeks ago and just bowled in my league. I took it out and we were playing medium oil and this ball still just slid. It was like running on ice. This ball does work good on dry conditions, but leaves way to many splits like the 7-10 and the greek church. For now this ball is just sitting in my closet collecting dust next to my Trauma Response. This ball I think got way too much hype. Though I dont know why I even bother with Storm anymore, they just disapoint me. The best ball they made was The Thunder Road.<sc

This is the best ball i ever thrown.Bought it today and drilled it to go long and then turn at the backend. The ball went long and turned very very hard on the backend and then smashed the pins.I am the only one who has the x-factor in my house, and people was shocked when they saw how hard it hit and how much it hooked at the backend.I played 6 games with it today and in the begininng it was perfect, but when the lanes started to breakdown it was difficult to get it in the pocket.

If you dont have the x-factor get it and if you already have it save up for the duece you wont be unhappy about it i promise. i thought the x factor couldn't be touched til i got hold of a duece and it took the x factor to a new level the duece has took my game up a step this ball hits harder and carries any shot you throw.if it hits high or soft dont worry it send pins flying in all directions and tyakes care of any mistake you make. i got better when i bought the xfactor and have stepped up again with the duece

This ball reads the lanes with the best of them. I have found it to be very predictable. It looks like a tame ball going through the heads but drops jaws when it flips. This is my first Storm after 100 balls from Brunswick, Hammer, Ebonite, and Columbia. From here on, I'll always check the Storm line before I buy. The engineers and chemists must have put in a lot of late nights coming up with this ball. It is superior equipment. Still getting out-of-the-box performance with little effort and grey Scotch-Brite after some 40 games. Use this ball on medium oil or short heavy oil to make opponents start swearing.

This Ball works is a must have for any one who takes the game seriously. I've never seen a ball that hits this hard. I read earlier that it leaves a lot of corner pins...True, but nine times out of ten it's taken out by a messnger. But this is a ball you have to let work on its own, Just hit your mark and you'll walk away happy almost every time. I was tentative to buy this ball at first but, now that I have it i'm thinking about getting another, along with the deuce when that is debuted.<sc

I have thrown this ball in all lane conditions, works very good, best in medium oil. Ball goes long before breaking which helps on dry lanes. Doesn't hook alot in heavy oil, but is more consistent. I am a medium rev bowler with not much backswing and I throw approx. 15-16 mph. Ball revs good tracked out good. Took about 6 games to get track. Bowled about 50 games so far. Ball seems to be very predictible and consistent. Has been very good with carrydown and not bad when lanes begin to breakdown. So many drilling patterns 1 of them has to work for you. If your looking for a new ball do not overlook this one. When this ball hits the pocket it crushes everything.....you'll swear you threw dynomite at the pins. If you haven't tried a STORM ball or have in the past & didn't like it (for whatever reason) TRY this ball, you will not regret it. On a scale of 1 to 10 I'd rate this ball a 20 !!! Blah Blah Blah Blah !!! Like I said read all the positive the reviews they tell the story....oh yeah, then GO GET THIS BALL !!!

Overall this is the hardest hitting ball I have ever seen, simply amazing how hard it hits. I love this new design for the core, just an amazing ball to watch go down the lane. I have it drilled to go long and whip back in, and man does this ball ever do it!!! The carry, hitting power and forgiveness of the ball are all perfect. The drilling options for this ball really leave no excuse for anyone to complain, if you do not like the pearlized long move, drill it to snap sooner or sand it to. I have to say if you throw the ball right it will do what everyone says it does, kills pins for all three games. I have seen negative reviews, my answer is this, learn to throw a ball right and you will love this ball. Or wait for the solid coverstock to come out, drill the current one to come in sooner or sand it to come in sooner. Storn did an amazing job on this ball and it is my favorite ball out, great design and hitting power second to none.

Hands down this is the best ball I have ever owned. This is the perfect match for my game and the conditions I face each week. I primarily bowl at a house with wood lanes, medium oil, and nice backends (very mild carrydown, but not flying) and this ball is long and strong. I have tried it on a wetter, synthetic condition and it is much stronger and angular at the breakpoint due to energy retention and my revs, no doubt. This one surprisingly went longer than I expected it and I still hit with some Black Magic. Can't stop shooting high scores with this one!!!!

Top of the line ball. "POWER" It doesn't matter what style ball you throw, if you can hit the pocket this ball will do the rest. I have raised my average atleast 15 pins and it is still climbing. Since I have gotten this ball I have been shooting 600'sor higher. I keep beating my high score and series. I only get better. It took a few weeks to get use to it but now its the only ball I use, I even use it for a spare ball most of the time. Add this ball to your bag and you won't be sorry, it's worth every penny and then some.

BALL WORKS GREAT RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX, WORKS REALLY WELL UNTIL THE LANES DRY OUT. THE COVERSTOCK SEEMS TO BE TOO SOFT OR SOMETHING BECAUSE THE TRACK WORE INTO THE BALL AFTER THREE GAMES, LOOKES LIKE SOMEONE TOOK A KNIFE TO IT AND CUT A BUNCH OF LITTLE SLITS ALL THE WAY AROUND THE BALL. NOT THE ONLY PERSON IN THE HOUSE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM WITH THIS BALL. THEY HAVE SENT TWO BACK IN THE LAST WEEK. THE BALL WOULD PROBABLY RATE A 10 IF THE TRACK DIDN'T WEAR SO QUICKLY, WAY TOO SOFT FOR WOOD LANES IN MY OPINION, MAYBE THERE IS NOT ENOUGH OIL BUT ITS THE ONLY BALL HAVING THIS PROBLEM<

I went from the Track Voodoo drilled 5 x 5 to the X-Factor drilled 5x5 as my favourite new ball. Loved the Voodoo, but the X-Factor is the bomb! Loves freshly oil lanes, and awesome performance over the 3 games, with very little adjustment needed at the end with slight carrydown. I just love this ball, after 'running the ball in' I bowled a 660 scratch series, which for a Div III bowler made me very happy. Excellent work Storm. Doesn't like major carrydown. Had to practice after lanes had been used all day with only dressing in the morning. Major carrydown to almost to the pins. Ball wouldn't move more than 1 board no matter what. Would say hates carrydown, but not sure any ball would have worked on those conditions
