RAD Ingenious in design, the RAD (Radial Accelerating Dual Density Disk) Motion Control Technology generates a differential of .013 between the "Y" and "Z" axis. WEIGHT BLOCK Comprised of lighter materials this weight block works in tandem with its unique shape to enhance the influence of the RAD. REV BLOCK Achieving a lower radius of gyration and optimum entry angle is accomplished by anchoring the rev block to the bottom of the weight block. COVERSTOCK Using 33% less MICA than other pearlized reactive coverstocks, the ACCU-Tread™ Mystic Pearl contains a balanced uniformity which increases overall consistency and unleashes explosive backend energy. X FACTOR The X Factor is the new standard of excellence and its exceptional engineering lends to a multitude of drilling options and reaction characteristics that cater to a bowler's specific needs.

I did not get the huge backend reaction out of this ball that alot of other people saw. I figured I would give it a try just because of that fact. It did not deliver the reaction it was supposed to. When on a short oil pattern it was not bad, but if there was any carry down at all it had to be put away. There was a lot of hype about this ball, and I think that is all that it was. Storm has a big backing with league bowlers and when this ball came out it was the rave. I sold mine, as have many others. This ball in overall hook is right along the lines of an older pearl reactive. I got more movement out of the Trauma than I did this ball. Just a huge disappointment. Maybe I was expecting too much.

Overall I feel this ball is great for those who have a lot of hand and play really deep. Very few balls can handle a deep shot and this is obne of them. Actually for me it seemed the deeper the better. The only problem is I can not throw a deep shot consistantly because it creates to much stress on my knee. But for those who can should pick this ball up. Unless you have a lot of hand slick lanes are a problem for this ball. Medium conditions are great for this ball. You can even use this ball when the lanes dry up some. Solid pocket hits hardly ever leave a 10 pin. (Maybe an 8 or 9). The only time you will see a 10 pin is on late, light hits. Overall I really like the roll on this ball and feel it can fit into anyones bag.

Well overall, this ball is ok. Its great for a cranker on medium oil lanes but they must be FRESH. this ball is worthless if you have carry down. Its hits the pocket hard tho, but leaves many 10 pins. Or even hits too hard and i leave 8,9 pins or even my favorite the 7-10. The ball is too strong for a house shot so i recremd you only use it during Tournaments. Not bad but definatly not the best. Rolled my first 300 and 800 with this ball only in open play tho :/ But its a Tourney ball so only get one if your a tournament player DYNOTHANE BARRAGE!!! #1

Awesome ball for a fresh shot. You could probably throw it on heavy oil if you had squeaky backends. Otherwise stick to all mediums with it as it's definitely too strong for light oil. Carrydown poses a slight problem, but step out a little and slow down or crank it more from inside and you'll be allright. It's a thing of beauty watching this ball work. Stand 30, throw 12, carry out to 3-5, hits the break-point and watch out. Sharp move, and bang. Awesome. Between this and my Silver Streak I can't chose which is better. Also, the ball looks as good going down the lane as it does on the rack. I could live without the tootsie roll smell though, oh well.

FOR A PERSON WHO HAS BEEN AN AVID FAN OF STORM BOWLING EQUIPMENT,I MUST ADMIT THE BALL WAS NOT VERY STORMISH IN NATURE.THAT TURNED OUT TO BE A GOOD THING IN THAT IT GAVE THEM A BALL THAT PROVIDED A BALL REACTION THEIR LINE WAS MISSING.A STRONG PEARL RESIN PIECE THAT READS THE MIDS WELL AND IS CONTINUOS ON THE BACKEND.MOST STORM PEARL EQUIPMENT PROVIDES THE TYPICAL SKID/FLIP LOOK.,THIS CREATES A TOTALLY DIFFERENT REACTION FOR STORM.I'VE USED THE BALL ON WOOD AS WELL AS SYNTHETIC SURFACES EQUALLY WELL.THE BALL PERFORMS WELL IN ALL BUT THE HEAVIEST CONDITIONS.IF YOU ARE FACED WITH BURNT HEADS IT ISN'T THE PIECE YOU WANT IN YOUR HANDS IN MOST CASES.I USED A 5" PIN LAYOUT,PLACED UNDER THE RING FINGER,CG 3" FROM MY PAP,MASS BIAS KICKED OUT NEAR MY VERTICAL AXIS LINE.WITH THIS BALL STORM HAS NAILED ANOTHER BIG HIT..........

Great ball! Hits like a charm. Works great on dry conditions too if you know how to change your hand position. High games with it are 300 in practice and 279 sanctioned. I'm 13 and currently averaging 220 with this ball and it's just wonderful. I'm waiting anxiously on the X-Factor ReLoaded to come out. I hope it's just as good as the first one and the duece. Also this ball will probably increase your average. It's just that good. It works good for crankers and strokers. Ok I have nothing else to say. STORM RULES! STORM RULES! STORM RULES! STORM RULES! STORM RULES! STORM RULES! STORM RULES! STORM RULES!

10 pins due to the incredible motor this one has!! Storm has struck gold with this core design, the polish on the ball out of box is just too much. Anyone that know balls can fix this by taking a nice green pad and removing some of it, and then the over/under is greatly reduced if not eliminated all together. I removed all the polish from mine and those problem were gone really fast. I have put over 115 games on this ball and the core still does what it is supposed, so how people can complain is beyond me. The modern balls typically last about 100 game or so before they need to be resurfaces as it is, mine could go another 50 before I really see a need to re surface the thing. If you clean the ball, maintian the surface and can actually use proper mechanics you will find a very versatile ball here with great hitting power and backend. I have to warn people that are getting this new, that is a high polish on the ball out of box. So you have to maintain and clean the

I Ordered a few of these and drilled one up for myself. I had an unusually large pin ou - about 5 inches, but with only around an ounce of top weight this wasnt a problem. The cg is just above the thumb, and the pin is about an inch and a half above and between the fingers, about 4.5" from PAP. The "RAD" is just to the right of the thumb hole. I used this for the first time in the Connaught open IN the Republic of Ireland on about the hardest, oiliest shot I have ever seen. Most people werent hoking the ball much, but i could swing this. I was utterly amazed. I ended up comming second in the event, and he only other guy in the event with the same ball came first! Then it was back to my home centre, woodne lanes with not much oil, and i found i can still manage to use the ball. This is trully a great ball, and nothing hits as hard. I wish people wouldnt always say that, because it seem speople say that about everything, but this one hits the best! I cant wait to tr

This ball is a monster. Hits harder than i have ever imagined. I purchased this ball after I borrowed it from a friend. I had no doubt that this was my next ball. It goes long very nicely and finnished even nicer. I lead with my ring finger now and noticed a huge difference in pin action. "it's revs that move pins, not hook." This ball is very controlable. I can hit the ten with no problem and then make it go across from the middle to the 1st arrow all the way back in for a stike on the very next shot. I don't know how it tracks yet but it seems to be ok. I've used it in about 20-25 games so far and it is great. I have a ball with a pin placement of 2.5- 3" and the top weight is 3 ounces. it hook more than i thought it would.

I have a warning for all of you who purchased this ball. DO NOT USE ANY ABRASIVES ON IT! That includes ANY sand paper and the Haus machine. Over a VERY short period of time the softer particle material on this ball tracks up which will make you want to take it off - DONT. The abrasive material used to take off the track will deaden the coverstock therefore making the ball a shadow of what it was before. So my rating of this ball is 10 pins new; 7 pins after a month. My idea of great ball- X-factor core with the Eraser (original) coverstock - I can only wish.

I have used this ball for about 15 league games and about 15 practice games. I bought it used and I think I got a great deal. I didn't have to redrill the ball at all just added a slug to the thumb for my size and inserts.Drilled "Rev Leverage". I have used this ball in heavier oil and I went up the 10 board and the ball cuts on the dry and right in the pocket. on more medium lane conditions, I swing out from 30 to 15 out to about 10 and it comes back every time.sometimes too hard and I leave 8 pins or 9 pins. That's a new problem for me. I'm used to 10 pins but that is no problem with this ball. 10 pins are user error. not so with 8's and 9's. This is the first ball out of my bag now. I travel with The Xfactor, the RevMaster and a white dot. The X hangs a sharp left turn, the Rev arcs hard and the white dot for the 6 and 10 pin. I won't buy another ball until this dies. And that other review should be wiped off by that kid "theshow333". It is very misleading and makes no sense after y

You gave the ball a 1 pin rating. You say that you like nothing about this ball. You say that you dislike the fact that this ball doesn't move but yet when I read your Overall review to find out what type of problems you have had you do nothing but rave about how great this ball is! Did I miss something? I was expecting to read more negative comments on the ball and instead you regailed us with how there is nothing you like about the ball but you shot the best games of your life with it.<scri
