RAD Ingenious in design, the RAD (Radial Accelerating Dual Density Disk) Motion Control Technology generates a differential of .013 between the "Y" and "Z" axis. WEIGHT BLOCK Comprised of lighter materials this weight block works in tandem with its unique shape to enhance the influence of the RAD. REV BLOCK Achieving a lower radius of gyration and optimum entry angle is accomplished by anchoring the rev block to the bottom of the weight block. COVERSTOCK Using 33% less MICA than other pearlized reactive coverstocks, the ACCU-Tread™ Mystic Pearl contains a balanced uniformity which increases overall consistency and unleashes explosive backend energy. X FACTOR The X Factor is the new standard of excellence and its exceptional engineering lends to a multitude of drilling options and reaction characteristics that cater to a bowler's specific needs.

This is a 15lb. bowling ball with the pin close but above and to the right of the ring finger and the cg right on the center of my grip. The RAD is below and a little to the left of the thumb hole. This makes the ball go long, clean through the front of the lane and once it reaches the dry part of the lane it zooms right in. Rarely leaves a ten pin (but what ball doesn't). The house pattern is blocked with the oil running in the middle with about 8 dry boards per side. I tend to throw a straight ball with hook in the end so I thow the ball at around the 2nd arrow and this ball works just fine. But if there's excessive oil (where I bowl at it is never the same and its not sport bowling), since I drilled it long it will stay long. I bought this ball for medium to heavy oil and it worked as I expected. I will use Storm in the future

I will justify this right away by saying I shot 804 with this ball and then sold it two months later. Other than that one day I could not get this ball to carry the 10 with my above average ball speed. The ball would hit the pocket all day long and leave on average 4-5 ten pins a game. On average I leave about 2-3 ten pins A NIGHT, not a game. I have always loved storm products (3 800's all with storm and 4 300's, 2 w/storm) but since the Thunder Road I have not been impressed with anything but the Hot Line. Hopefully I will comeback to storm eventually but right now I am a Track man.

this is probably the best ball ive ever owned. its my favorite. its also my go-to ball when i dont know what to throw. i bowled in a tournament with my team and had a 643. not bad for my 4th set of games with this ball. this ball has such a nice reaction. I like the smell too. a couple of my friends cant get enough of it. my g/f cant either.lol. but yea, i got pissed off when a machine at one of the tournaments i was in took a piece out of my ball right next to the insert. it looks like something cut it, cuz it goes about 3/4 inch deep. i was pissed off when i saw that. but oh well, i finished the day strong.

Have been throwing Ebonite for years and have had great success but was ready to try something different. Had thrown Storm equipment a few years ago, like it, but and after seeing them on the PBA show almost every week I thought I would give one a try again. Great core and coverstock combo. All types of bowlers should benefit from this one. Depending on your rev rate playing all angles should be possible, from inside deep to straight up. Very surface friendly. Great move in the midlane on medium oil. Struggles a bit on heavy oil but that's why we get a Triple X-Factor right!

this ball is absolutely the greatest. i dont know if its the best ever but to me its the best ball that in my generation. the backend is completely sick, it hits very hard, and the color and smell is a turn on also. why do you think they are still continuing the x factor line. i recomend this to every kind of bowler out there. know matter hoe you bowl or what age you are you should get this ball. it helped my game out a lot iand it should help yours too. b b b b b b b b bb b b b b b b b b b b b b b b bb b b b b b b b b b b b b b b b b b b b b b b

It has a great backend, it does not like too short oil because it revs out too fast, and hits the pinsIt has a great backend, it does not like too short oil because it revs out too fast, and hits the pins like a sponge. like a sponge. This ball is excellent on almost all conditions except for the extremes (Dry and Wet), but on medium to medium-heavy this ball does and excellent job. The ball is drilled pretty much straight up with the thumb thru RAD and pin above fingers. Got this ball from a friend who had it drilled up to pretty tame all I did was move the thumb back and Viola! Even with this tame drilling the ball has excellent back-end and destroys the pins, by far this is my favorite FACTOR. I also own the Fear Factor and Deuce also an Eraser Pearl Particle. All excellent balls by the way.

.....its also a bowling ball!! I choose to get back into bowling after a 5 year hiatus with the X-Factor. I've found the ball at a local pro shop, NIB, for $89.00, due to the ball being a half-weight (15lb 9oz). Well worth it ! The ball is drilled with Storm's layout #6, modified a bit more for early roll. The ball still goes rather long, then pulls a student body left and makes it way towards the pocket. This works well on lighter oil conditions, but on a fresher , heavier pattern or with carrydown, it skates a bit much. Now if the lanes were 70ft, it'd be perfect! To combat this, I bought an X-Factor Deuce:) I do recommend the ball. The carry is wonderful, the pin action is more than lively, even on weak hits ! The smell is also a nice touch, even though i'm not a Tootsie Roll fan.

I'd never considered anything but Brunswick or Columbia in the past, but decided to try something different based mostly on what I'd read here, and what I'd heard competitors in my leagues say about the ball. it turned out to be a pretty wise decision. I will definately consider Storm balls in the future. I've also recently found that the ball reacts favorably to being roughed up with red Scotch Brite. It really helps the ball when the oil has carried down, or when there is a long pattern. I also have found that it's wise to put the ball out onto the lane rather than getting it into a roll too soon on the same conditions. When it's dry, forget it. I put it away and choose another club, lol.

I bought this ball used, And had this ball plugged and redrilled to fit! A 15 pound 4oz ball. The pin distance is 3-31/2 inches, with the pin drilled to the right of the middle finger, the cg kick out about 1" to the right, and the rad just below the thumb and 3" to the right of center. I bought this ball because my pro shop guy is now with storm. I asked him if I could possibly throw storm stuff. And he said "That they have ball to fit into My game"! I purchase storm balls before without any success, X-it boy was this ball a bust, Trauma another bust, black Thunder The first bust! So let me tell you that I was amazed how this pearl ball moved in the back end and crushed the pocket! The only time that It did'nt hook is when I circled the ball. My first time in league with this ball, I was bowling on medium-oily about 45-47 feet. Standing 20 and rolling(Hoping that I was rolling) the ball out to 5-6 at 45, and like I said before the ball turned to head for home! I shot 658 the first tim

When i first got this ball i had doubts as to whether it would be the great ball that everybody said it was. My very first game with this i wasnt used to late brake it had so it took me a while to get used to, but just about the 5th frame i shot 7 in a row to give me am good game. Now iv have bowled plenty of 200's and it is my main ball. I use it all the time and it has raised my adverage alot. If your out there and cant decide what ball to get get this one. It dosnt matter what your adverage is anyone can bowl with this.

I now have over 150 games on my XFactor. It still hits as hard as the day I got it. I got it used by the way. Best money I've ever spent. My X-Factor is drilled with the pin under the middle finger, eye of the storm about two inches off of center, and the RAD is three or four inches off the thumb. X hole in line with the thumb, not on PAP. They call this drilling Rev Leverage. It's old reliable. Still rips the racks. Gets through the heads well, comes back strong on the backend when it hits dry. Never lets me down. If the lanes are too oily I take out my Mutant.

OK this ball was great out of the box, dont get me wrong. I got the ball and it hit so hard and then it slowly got dull i polished it up and nothin it continued to die. i sanded it, nothing i did every thing i could but it just didn't go back to it's prime. i had to give this to a freind and then go buy a buzzsaw XL. this is a great ball if you can keep it up. if you are going to clean it dont use cleaners use water cuz i used some cleaner and it was probably why it died.
