RAD Ingenious in design, the RAD (Radial Accelerating Dual Density Disk) Motion Control Technology generates a differential of .013 between the "Y" and "Z" axis. WEIGHT BLOCK Comprised of lighter materials this weight block works in tandem with its unique shape to enhance the influence of the RAD. REV BLOCK Achieving a lower radius of gyration and optimum entry angle is accomplished by anchoring the rev block to the bottom of the weight block. COVERSTOCK Using 33% less MICA than other pearlized reactive coverstocks, the ACCU-Tread™ Mystic Pearl contains a balanced uniformity which increases overall consistency and unleashes explosive backend energy. X FACTOR The X Factor is the new standard of excellence and its exceptional engineering lends to a multitude of drilling options and reaction characteristics that cater to a bowler's specific needs.

Overall this ball completely is my go to ball out of the bag. It rolls nice and just rips the lane apart. One of the BEST balls created by Storm. Thank god they are keeping up the X Factor line. I have the X Factor and the Fear Factor and thats all you need for any type of shot at any tourny. You will not be disappointed with this ball. Using some Clean and Dull with a Scotch Brite pad will turn this ball from Skid Snap to early LEFT TURN! Very versatile ball and can be used on basically any condition.

My First And Favorite Ball Is The storm reloaded then when things dry up a bit mid second game or third I'll switch up to the duece or if im tired i'll grab this ball. I always bring three balls before i leav the house depends on my energy level. this isn't always one of my balls.Good All Around Ball Good All Around Ball Good All Around Ball Good All Around Ball Good All Around Ball Good All Around Ball Good All Around Ball

This ball just didn't match up, for me, on the condition it is advertised to excel in. If it sees carrydown, it "backs off" something fierce. The only time I like this ball was on a lighter fresh pattern. Even after that condition transitioned, this ball didn't work well. I tried scuffing it with a gray pad. This caused the ball to start up too early. So I put the factory finish back on it. Also, this ball smells nothing like chocolate. I guess I just don't like paying over $200, after drilling, for a spare ball.

Well, since I rolled my first 300 with a Deuce, I can't say much more about how much I love it, oh,sure I can. The first game, I was trying to go up the boards with a Monster ScreamR,199. Grabbed the Deuce, moved left 10 boards, rolled across 15 at the arrows, out to about 9. Bam. Bam. 19 times, bam. I've bowled some huge sets with this ball and since bought a second one! When I shot my 300, I just kept going. It started coming in really high so I had to move left, I thought. Moved 1 board left and left back to back 9's after the 19 in a row. Although it's not for dry lanes, if you've got a fair amount of oil out there, you can play a lot of different lines. 300,256. Then on the League Championship roll-off night, 299. We won. Ok, I'll shut up now. Bam.

Pin 2.75 inches Top 2.5 RAD is left of the CG & pin CG on midline, pin in ring finger and RAD is in my track This ball just floats through the heads and just revs up in the midlane. Very strong arc with a defined breakpoint. Noticed with the RAD in track shooting the 10 pin how much the RAD in the track affects the roll. Placing the RAD in the track really helps the ball to retain energy, great for power players or people looking to make a more controllable ball. This layout will come in value for tournament play or playing deep when there is oil to help create distance.

I had won this ball from storm on an internet contest, and i was looking for something to replace my Colossus Pearl. I had them send me the X-Factor. Got it drilled for a nice arc. It took me a while to see what the ball would do b/c the driller screwed up my span. After getting it fixed, i see why this ball has 120+ reviews (most of them great). It goes down the lane, hits the backend and wham! Beautiful snap to the pocket and shreds the pins. I rarely leave dimes when bowling now. BTW im still lookin for my replacement to the CP.

This is just an update on the ball. Have had it for about 16 months, just polished recently and it still goes really really really well. Was using it today with a new release and got even more revs and hook than before (thank you Cara Honeychurch, she showed me what i needed to do this morning to improve my game) High game with it is still 280, but have had several 279's and 250+ games with it. Its better if this ball is polished, rather than sanded or dulled. Now wait for my next update after July 18, when I come back from Australian Junior Nationals

Ball is 14#, drilled pin over ring, RAD below of thumb 1/2 inch, right of thumb 1 inch, CG swung out about 3 inches from grip center. This ball is extremely versatile, can be played on anything from light oil, to medium with a little carrydown. Cleans the heads very smoothly, saves up great energy midlane, comes back very strong on the backend, but keeps enough energy to carry very well. I usually play from about 25 or 30, out to around 5. Love the ball, would suggest it for anyone, begginner to pro. This ball would also be very good if drilled to arc, and would give a nice hard arc to the pocket, but not much for a midlane roll.

i almost sued the alley when i got a tiny scratch if i had a choice to get a new ball it would be the X-Factor, Triple X Factor, or Fear Factor This is the greatest ball i ever used it was also my first ball i ever used, when it hits the pocket it hits hard and always gives you a strike I can always rely on the X-Factor. I got my ball resurfeced because it was a mess and it helped bring out the coverstock in the ball and take out all the scratches inept for a couple that were deep it hooks like a monster and hits hard as crap The X Factor series is one of the best

I also want to get the triple x-factor but i just like this ball so much i want to keep it forever. I also like the smell of the ball it smells like a tootiseroll. Storm#1 Storm#1best ball ever. I couldn't believe it when i threw my last ball for that 300 i thought is was not coming back into the pocket but it did and i jumped up and down when it happened.

Voted the ball of the year and many swear by it, but I see very few people still throwing this ball. Was the Storm money thrown at advertising/pushing their first skid/flip ball in a long time behind the huge sale success of this ball? Why aren't many still thrown? Great ball if the shot is specifically there for it - but then again you could say that about a house ball. Over sensitive and not forgiving. Carry down produces a scoot, a wobble, a wiggle and weak hits that defy imagination. Some still swear by this ball. Many more have put the ball away, use something else and won't admit they were taken in by all the hype. I used to be one of those.

I have owned this ball for about a month now, and admittedly I struggled with it. I normally play an arcing shot and had to get used to the snappiness of this ball. Now that I have played it for a while I can see the effectiveness this will have in my arsenal. The layout is pin above bridge, CG kicked out a little right of grip and RAD is to the right of the thumb hole. This ball definitely goes long and snaps on the end. In oily conditions this ball just skids through everything and won't get back to the pocket. But, on medium oil it is a monster with excellent carrry.

Truly one of Strom's best products on the market, if you are looking for a medium oil ball, then this is it. When you have the right conditions, then this ball will be absolutely perfect for you. The ball can be very resilient, the first time i bowled with it I shot a 584, the ball finished very angular and had a killer backend. When the ball does not have the same reaction that it once had, then it is a great spare ball although it will hook a little, when you first bowl with this ball, you will be thrilled with it. The ball has worked so well in the clutch for me and you will find out how resilient this ball is.
