RAD Ingenious in design, the RAD (Radial Accelerating Dual Density Disk) Motion Control Technology generates a differential of .013 between the "Y" and "Z" axis. WEIGHT BLOCK Comprised of lighter materials this weight block works in tandem with its unique shape to enhance the influence of the RAD. REV BLOCK Achieving a lower radius of gyration and optimum entry angle is accomplished by anchoring the rev block to the bottom of the weight block. COVERSTOCK Using 33% less MICA than other pearlized reactive coverstocks, the ACCU-Tread™ Mystic Pearl contains a balanced uniformity which increases overall consistency and unleashes explosive backend energy. X FACTOR The X Factor is the new standard of excellence and its exceptional engineering lends to a multitude of drilling options and reaction characteristics that cater to a bowler's specific needs.

I recently had my favorite ball ever crack on me..(Thunder Road Pearl) dont know why it did.

I hope this steps up and takes its spot..with the only 3 games I shot with it I can tell I'll shoot big with this ball,It covers a lot of wood and hits very hard...I noticed once it got a little track on it ,it rolled much smoother to the hole,no herky jerky...kind tamed down, but didnt loose its punch at all....I hope I can post another review soon ,but with some big scores...

until then,

Paco<scrip

You have to throw this ball correctly to get the Rad-X motor to work. Once you find the correct wrist release and conditions, it hits like a 455 with a 6 pack (only older crowd motor heads will know what that is). I almost gave this ball away until I learned the proper shot. It wants fingers! and an agressive hook! I'm only a 205 average bowler, but I almost shot three 300 games with this ball in three weeks. Got bogarted by ringing 7, 10, 9, . The only time this ball gets in trouble is when you throw it past break point, or let up on speed. It gets fairly good length, but sucks in dry, or reverse block conditions. Also not the best oiler . . there are better products out there. This ball will REALLY open up a medium condition.<s

Dont get me wrong i only have about 7 or 8 games on the ball but it just doesnt seem to live up to all the expectations that i had of it after reading all the reviews. The ball is drilled in drilling option 1 with the RAD in posistion "b" and it just seems to get way to far down the lane before it turns up and starts doing its job. I am going to play with the ball surface some more till i find something that works. Really hate to waste my money on something that doesnt work. But till then give me my 6 year old Thunder Storm back and ill keep right on scoring

This ball is my first storm ball I ever owned, I use to throw an Ebonite Red Wolf for 5 years. But the X Factor blows it away, I never seen a ball so forgiving and love to watch the pins fly. It took me a little time to get use to the ball, like anything else new you switch to. But MAN this ball has a built in radar for the Pocket!!! once you let it go all you hear is the SHATTERING of pins and you see dust!!! Great Ball!!! Im not disappointed at all. Bowl on med oil lanes and ball is drilled for a leverable layout.

I've put about a dozen series on this ball in different leagues and since ten of the 12 series have been over 700. My first 7 series were over 700 with a 300 in there too boot. I can say nothing bad about this carry monster. This is the most awesome piece by Storm since their Eraser. Even the 2 series that weren't 700's were a 640 and 680. I've never had a ball that continually hits like this does. If you have any desire to own the best ball on the market then go get one of these babies, you won't be dissappointed. This is a 10+ ***** When this ball dulls down after throwing a ton of games on it, it will tend to not hit and finish like it once did. All that is needed to be done is have it polished back to box finish and it will hit like new again. I repolish my ball after about every 60 games and it still hits like new. You don't need a total resurfacing job, just a repolish. This ball and the Eraser were the only balls i've known that seem to last forever doing this.*****

Just picked it up last night. Rolled a couple of games to play around with it, see what I could do. I'm a stroker, love playing down and in, once I started rolling this ball it was great. I got anywhere near the pocket and it carried. Amazing pin action. I had lots of room to play with this ball, I could go from the 6 board, to the 15 board and still crunch the pins. I just kept moving deeper into the lane to see what I could do. League night isn't until Wed, and I can't wait to see how I do then. I'll post an update next week. From what I've seen so far I'm VERY HAPPY with this ball.

Great ball! Enjoy all of storms equipment. X-factor is a must have for any player. Just dont be affraid with the reaction and put a surface on it. Just a minimal cut will do. The factory shine is too much. I believe that the factory finish is way to much for any ball. Start with cutting the ball the most minimal as possible and then put your shine on it. I believe that Storm has had an impacked with a lot of bowlers and the with the new year here, I believe that they will have a great line to fill.

Great ball. I have a cross between a cranker and a stroker style. I normally bowl with a Hammer Reaper2 and can crank it getting high revs. Not with this ball. If your a cranker you better stand as far left as possible and throw over the gutter or the 7 pin is all youre going to hit. This ball is aggressive. However when I did finally adjust I was able to get this ball into the 1-3 pocket very easily and once it hit the pocket nothing was left standing. Sure I got Tapped a few times but this ball hit's hard. My first time on league i bowled a 220, 267 and 278. Not bad considering the lanes were burnt by the third game ;)

when i first got this ball, i wanted it to be one of the more aggressive balls in my line-up. So my pro-shop dealer drilled the ball up and drilled it to break earlier. This was a HUGE mistake. I threw nine games with this drilling and then took it to a different driller. Now, not exactly knowing how good this guy was at drilling up equipment, i figured that since he shot 889 two days before he probably knew what he was doin. So he drilled the ball to skid and snap, the usual shot that i play. BANG!!!! next day i shot 689, and a few days later shot 713. ball reacts great down the lane and carries anything even close to the pocket. if your looking for a ball for almost any condition, and your looking for something to help your game, this ball is it. i had lost faith in storm after purchasing two of their bowling balls before, but now i know that they have quality products. good job on this ball storm.
