I was looking for a solid reactive ball that could handle some oil and this ball is right in my wheelhouse.Lots of roll and lots of flare, but no quit even when the heads start to go.stormed299 drilled this one too.He put the pin next to my ring finger(about 3 3/8) and stacked the cg below on my gripline which put the mild mb just below my thumb in the strong position.A small x-hole drilled deep was needed,he positioned it 1" above my PAP on the VAL.This ball reminds me alot of my old black XS.I applied some of Beans Secret Sauce after bringing the finish up to 1000 grit abralon and this ball came alive. When my sanded equipment is burning up too early,I bring this ball out and I can just stay in the same zone(second and third arrow)and this ball gives a great finish and great carry.Looks good rolling down the lane too.For high end perfromance at a modest price and an asymetrical at that,it's tough to find a better ball than this ball from Storm.

Best ball I have ever owned! 2" pin ball with static balence mark on midline of grip 3/4" down from center of grip. Pin just under ring finger. Plays well down 2nd arrow on slop, can swing the ball over 3rd arrow to 8 and crush on typical league condition. Roars back to the pocket when I loop my backswing, holds line when tugged, demolishes the pins, rolls true. I have four 700s and over 690 six times, also 299 and two 279 in about two full seasons with it. If I could find a case of them, I would buy them. Storm rep said the Special Agent is the closest thing to the SuperCharge right now, have been eyeing one since the bridge broke.

This one is stronger than any mid-price ball I have ever had drilled. This one is predictable all around and carries more power to the pins than most of the high performance balls that I have seen. If you keep this one well maintained it will definitly last and it will keep it's reaction, but if you don't, this ball will really die out on you. I've had three of these all ready and I love them all, different drill patters give it a different reaction. This ball is definitly a keeper and one of the first ones out of the bag.

Shot my first 300 here in OK. Every ball was 10 in the pit. Played a little inside shot 16 to 8-10, beautiful turn to the pocket. Ball also gives me the capability to play up 1-5 and the ball will truck in to the pocket with our rolling out-just need to change hand position and release. Overall the ball gives you some options with confidence that it will recover. Hats off to Storm. Kept the factory finnish ang gave it an agressive drilling and agressive would be a perfect name for this ball. It flares more than 7 inches and covers a lot of boards in the heaviest oil. This would be a perfect 10 unless for the acational 8 or 9 pins it leaves untouched. Guess it's a combination of having to play verry deap angles, even on heaviest oil and the fact it's a 16 pounder (usually I play with 15 lbs). Anyway, it's a good verry good ball just like the CorePower LRG and the DepthCharge but starts climbing a few feet earlier and can cover a few boards more.

I bought this ball over a year ago. I used particle balls exclusivley for over 3 years and was hesitant about going back to reactive. This ball, for me at least, reacted more like a particle ball than any reactive ball I had or have owned. Nice arc into the pocket and great carry. I threw my second three hundred game with it. It still performs after almost a year and a half. Haven't had to have it resurfaced yet. The ball is drilled label with the pin at around one thirty. Hope it lasts till Storm comes out something to replace this wonderfull ball.

you can check my specs in a deiiferent review. i punched this one up with a 10:30 semi-strong drill. this ball clears the heads fairly esaily, revs up hard in the mid-lana and no matter what it turns over and hits like no other ball i own. if you are lookin for a good oil ball in the mid-price range this is it. i tried this ball on a variety of shots and the only problem so far is that sometimes it hits a little too hard and i leave fast 9's. but that requires an adjustment with your feet.<sc

Simple. It's a good overall ball for medium to heavy oil. If i hit my mark and break point, it's all good. Ball gets through the heads, revs and makes a hard arc. Don't miss your target left, you will be sorry. It's more forgiving if I miss right. It's a Pro Pin. Approx. a 6" pin. Pin above and to the right of the riing finger. CG straight down below. I bought it for when I struggle with carry down. I bowl in a league that 80% of the people throw plastic strike balls. By the end of practice, I move right instead of left.

As long as you keep this ball inside the oil line you will be alright. If you get this ball in the dry too early it will roll out and hit weak. Like the color and the patented Storm scent. After many months of sitting in my bag waiting to be used I gave this ball to my wife who wanted to go up in weight for better carry. I just never really run across a situation were I need a dull oil ball. 100 words 100 words 100 words 100 words 100 words 100 words 100 words 100 words 100 words 100 words

    I really like this ball. At first it seemed allitle strong in the midlanes, but I shined her up and this ball now reacts awesome. The Super Charge revs up right off the hand. I also have to say thanks to MWillman, a fellow bowling ball reviews member, who drilled this one up for me. This ball is great ball for fresh house shots, or any shot as long as there is some oil. If there isnt any oil its time to put this ball away. Another great ball from storm. x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x<scrip

Had this ball drilled up for my wife stack drilled. She plays over second arrow a, arcing the ball into the pocket. As long as there is oil out there she holds the line. Dryer lanes put it in the bag!! Overall, wife had high game over six games with it so far of 225. Good mid priced ball... Wife says "controllable on oil, yet on dry it takes off like a supersonic jet" We shined it up to give it more length which helped sustain it to the pocket on a medium oil condition, which is what we bowl on. for heavy oil leave ball in out of box condition. Good storm product, but for me personally, i switched over to ebonite.

this ball is a straight up beast. i love the way it starts to hook early but doesnt loose any power. this monsoon coverstock is da bomb. when you throw this down the lane da ball looks very cool and the orange smell rocks. the only bad thing about this ball is that it not very versitile. you can only use ti for medium oil lanes and very rarely for medium to heavy. ovaeral i reccomend this ball to anyone ST ST ST ST ST ST ST ST ST ST ST ST ST ST ST ST ST ST ST ST ST ST ST ST ST ST ST ST ST ST ST ST ST ST ST ST ST ST

The ball rolls early and heavily with a nice curve back end, the control through the heads and midlane make this ball one of best on the market. This is a heavy flare ball, I got 4 inch of track flare in the oil. It also hits the pins very hard. I tried different line with different speed and hand release, it is very versatile and forgiving. If I move left, slow the speed down and put more hand to the side, it will hook more and curve it's way back to the pocket. On the other hand, if I move right, increase speed and put hand behind the ball, it will go longer and then make a nice smaller hook to the pocket. At first I am worried that this ball will roll and hook too soon while the back end is not enough, but after a few games today, I can confirm that it's a perfect ball for the medium oil synthetic lanes. It rolls perfectly with a smooth back end, BUT it's not a skid/hard flip ball. This is a great ball if you are looking for control and smoothness.

With the right ball speed and the right shot this ball will shine. It revs up earlier and leaves nothing but splinters in its wake. I have always liked Storm but strayed away for an Inferno, which was a good ball as well. However, I leaned towards Storm this time around and I'm glad a did. If length, hit, and roll are what you are looking for and you don't want to spend a fortune, this ball is for you. I've tried many balls over the years and I think that Storm is the best company I have tried. I have thrown some of my biggest games and series with Storm Equipment and the Super Charge once again proves my point.

Haven't tried this ball on extremely dry condions but I would imagine it might over hook the lanes if that was the case. Perfect ball for most conditions as it is very controllable. Revs up hard but holds the line right to the pocket smashing the pins. You can miss your mark and come in light and the ball will do the work taking out all ten pins. One of the best balls I've tired in a long time and the very first ball I have ever given an excellent rating of ten pins to. Thought it might not be suitable for shooting the ten pin spare but can easily control the hook and cover the spare. This ball should bring anybodies average up a couple of pins.

I first got this ball from my uncle as a birthday present. It costed about 115.00. Then about ten days later i ripped the pins into a million pieces. But it didn't stop there. Yesterday I was bowling for my high school in the first tournament of the year. The ball that seemed to have the best reaction was the super charge. With it I bowled a 253,269,279 for an 801 series which is my first ever 800 series. This ball is a straight up beast. Couldn't belive that it only costed my uncle 115.00. I recommend this ball to anyone that wants a good ball for a cheap price. THANK YOU STORM

I had my Super Charge drilled 4 1/4" X 3 1/2" (pin under ring finger), mass bias on VAL, X-hole on PAP. Kept the box finish in order to see the ball's true potential on fresh oil. The Super Charge looks like an economy version of the X Factor line with the core design, low RG, and high differential. I think the MONSOON coverstock will be one of Storm's best next to the ACCU-Tread reactive and PRO-Thane particle. Storm is today where Brunswick was about five or six years ago: dominating both the pro and amateur ranks. Having been a loyal Brunswick consumer for the past eleven years, I feel that Storm can take my game to places yet unknown. They seem to have a good understanding of making a good core/cover combination in their latest releases for consistent and continuous overall performance. The Super Charge, for me, is only the beginning!

This ball is a great compliment to the original Charge. As the Charge goes long and makes it move this ball will get into a roll about 15 to 20 feet earilier. While the x-factor line will make it's big move at the end the Super Charge sets up earlier for a better read on spotty patterns. The hitting power of this ball is extremely good. I thought if the ball starting rolling soon it would loose it's power but not the case. I have this ball drilled with the CG in the palm of the hand and the pin at about 2-o'clock and kicked out to the side about 1 1/2". After putting a few games on this ball and getting a good feel for it, this is what I discovered. For the down and in shot fantastic. If you have to go deep inside look for corner pins.<scr

We drilled this one for one of our good customers with a 4x4 layout hole on the PAP. Very short pin on this ball, about 1 inch. watched him throw it in league and this baby revved up nice. Beautiful rolling ball. Even polished, this baby revved up and made a strong move in the back. Looks like this ball will be good for oil, maybe medium conditions. He didnt really use it because the thing was hooking to much. This ball looks good. What a nice strong move this ball made around 35 feet. Hit like a truck too. Very nice looking ball also. Smells good. I think this ball will be a success especially for players looking to conquer the oily conditions. I can say for a fact that this ball hooks.<scr

I got this ball from my uncle who taught me how to bowl for my birthday. I didn't know much about this ball but I did shortly. about 10 days later I used this ball in my sunday league and it rocked boosted my average up a lot. I bowled a 213, 228, and a 258! The more times I threw the ball the better it felt coming out of my hands. This ball cuts through the oil and digs in the backends. It is the perfect combination of power and control for any kind of bowler. Plus the orange smell isn't bad either.
