ok heres a ball thats great, i've heard bad things about a pearl particle but i love them because of this ball, i was in a high school bowling tournement and a lot of my teammates were struggling to bowl because of the very very heavy oil on the lanes, our coach told us that we couln't play inside 10 but what did i do, i whiped out the eraser and showed him up, i was well inside 5 and it was comin back, this is one of my favorite balls because of that, it hits great, this ball just flat out rocks :]

well, depending on the house you bowl in you can do very well with this ball. the roll is very readable on the right shot, and it hits the pins hard and you'll get a great mix and carry. with carrydown, you get a lot of over/under, and i found not a very consistant shot. i found myself guessing what the ball was going to do, so making adjustments with it was difficult. but overall i guess thats the same with all the other balls out there. this still is a great ball to have, but not just one to build an arsenal around, but can compliment your gear well. i'll post another review later on, to give ya an update.

I purchased this ball used. It has a 2-1/2" pin. I don't know what the Top Weight is, but has a nice roll. It is drilled drilled with the pinunder and just to the right of the ring finger, 5" from PAP (drilled as Layout #1 on drilling chart for this ball). I originally tried this ball with the factory 1500 grit polished finish. I did not like the reaction. . . it wouldn't come back to the pocket (18 board, swing out to 7 or 8). So I used a red scotch brite pad, then finished with a green one. It seemed to improve the backend snap, but nothing like expected. So I soaked the ball in hot water with Dawn dish soap. WOW what a change. It hooked too much for me. I throw extemely slow (10 - 12 MPH). So I polished it back to original factory 1500 polished. It goes longer and seems to snap at the backend. The main thing I like about this ball is the pin carry. I rarely leave splits with this ball. It does leave an occassional 10 pin, which is frustrating. But I'm sure it ha

Ball Specs: 16Lbs 1 inch Pin Pin Under and between fingers CG Southeast from Pin. I love this ball. It is consistent, when it hits, it's extremely clean. I can play anywhere on the lanes. If there is a heavy concentration of oil on the lane, I can play up the boards to get to the pocket. On medium conditions, or Wet/Dry, this ball rules. 10 in the Pit every time. I play from 12 to 7 normally, and I adjust for what the lanes bring to me. This ball loves fresh patterns and dry back ends. That is where it is a monster. I would say Storm has a winner here. They should bring it back, or make a new ball with the same core and cover with a new name :) I would recommend this ball for people looking for a ball with a strong, but consistent back end, with good readable reactions in the midlanes.

I was searching for this ball since four years ago in 2001 i saw this ball on tv and i became crazy to have it, now the dreams come true. The Eraser was pearcing the same way than my Power Charge Pearl But the Eraser have more power on the lane. The eraser coverstock is combine with Accu-Thread Reactive Pearl, The lane condition is medium to heavy oil. I guess Ball will make a good success in my game. For the rotation, this ball do the same curve than the Recharge, the Track Assassin and the Eraser Burn Carbide. For suggestion if you realy want a Ball for mid line, the Eraser is the good ball for this condition. And Remember the Eraser was the popular ball in 2000-2001 Oh i forgot about colore, the colore is like Fire. That make me thinking about a Digimon Call ad Flamedramon! Sorry about the last sentence! Juste try it!<

The storm eraser hit the pins very hard. This ball is an excellent strike ball. Works very good on med oil lanes. This ball is terrible on heavy oiled lanes. It will get out there too far. I averaged about 176 with this ball. Its not the best ball i have thrown. Thid ball hooks alot and sometimes i play on the outside first arrow. When you connect the pins with this ball it will definatly knock the pins out cold! If you get caught with a heavy oiled lane. I recommand you use another ball. It sucks these reviews have to be 100 words long be cuz i really do not know what else to say about this ball.

The eraser line, in my opinion, is the best mid performance ball line in it's time. This started it all, the eraser. This ball revs up good through out the lane. It has a tremendous hit. Has the best backend I've ever seen besides the RS1. The best part is that all the erasers, with the exception of the erase-it, has these qualities, the difference is the hook potential and angularity. Compared to the blaze, the original eraser has a similar reaction but hooks much less without much of a snap. The eraser on a fresh house shot wouldn't hook enough. It over reacts on very dry lanes. The best condition for this ball is medium to lighter oil. I use this ball when the blazing inferno would be too strong and the beast can't hook enough. Slower bowlers, I imagine would like this on a fresh medium shot. Great ball, 9. I give it a 9 because it was weaker than advertised.

The strange thing about this ball is that I found it in one of my old bags in my closet. I was really surprised whe I found this ball becuase I have been wanting it for a while. I really like the reaction of this ball, it seems to be a very strong arc to the pocket, which really surprised me, becuase I was expecting a snap reaction. This ball really worked great on medium oil, and some med-heavy shots, but will not work, at all, on flooded lanes. It also get a little jumpy on dry lanes which makes it a little hard to use there too. If you find your mark on medium or med-light lanes, ths ball is absolutely perfect! The carry of this ball is also great, and it does not leave may ten pins, even though it has left a few 7-10 pocket shot leaves. This ball also hits very hard and makes a really loud CRUNCH sound when it get a strike! I found this to be a truly great ball for the desired condition (medium oil) and would reccomend it to anyone who can find it. And now for the stats: H

this ball is great. it gave me lots of room to play. also it wasnt flippy at all. it was a nice smooth reaction arc to the pocket that i have been looking for for so so so long. the guy who drilled it said he was wondering if he could try something new because he though he could possibly get it to go a little bit longer and get me more carry, well he was right. it was perfect. the only time i left something is when i pulled it too far or threw it out to far. i also didnt leave another splits with this ball. kind of sucks that i had one over two years ago but sold it for ten bucks. had to come all the way back around and buy another one for 5 bucks so hey 5 bucks profit in 2 years. i love this great ball

THIS BALL IS NOW ONE OF MY FAVORITE BALLS. IT WAS A BIT OLD BUT THAT DIDNT MATTER TO ME BECAUSE I WANTED SOMETHING THAT WASNT THAT AGGRESSIVE. I GOT IT DRILLED TO BE LESS AGGRESSIVE THAN MY ICON 300 AND IT ENDED UP HOOKING MORE THAN IT. THE BACK END OF THIS BALL IS AMAZING. I COULDNT HAVE ASKED FOR ANYTHING MORE FROM THIS BALL. THIS IS MY 2ND 300 IN 3 WEEKS. IF YOU EVER GET A CHANCE TO GET THIS BALL IT IS A GREAT BALL AND YOU WILL MOST LIKELY HAVE GREAT SUCCESS WITH IT. SO EVERYONE GO OUT AND GET THE BEST STORM BALL OUT THERE!!!!!!!!!<sc

I originally owned an Eraser when they were released. I played and played with the nugget with no success. I could not see why people thought theirs was so great. I quickly threw it on the pro shop store and never looked back. This summer I tried many new looks on my hand; therefore, a bag of balls is needed. The Eraser Pearl has looked great, but can be too much at times. The logical choice was to punch an Eraser now. My gut was feeling it so three holes were punched. This ball is smoooooooth, but oil sensitive. The layout is weak so that is expected. This piece allows a bowler to define where the wet ends and the dry begins both side-to-side and front to back on the lane. With two Tour Powers, the Eraser fills the void of when those balls aren’t enough at the backs. This ball is very responsive to release position and speed. A true asset when you are tweaking your shot to carry.<sc

Out of all the Eraser series, this is the best ball for the money and the best handling ball. Being a discontinued ball will make it a rarety. Grab one while you still can, even two if possible. If you know someone whose game is currently not at its peak, this would be a excellent ball to recommend for them. For a reactive ball this one is priced reasonably. Once again: Likes: Storm has done it again. This is a "Dream Ball". Plays well on many lane conditions, with only minor tweaking of the hand and ball speed. I have consistently played in the 220-250 with this ball in 3 different houses. Revs high and Hits like a tomahawk missile. Dislikes: None really. Make sure you don't throw this ball to light or it will hook on you when your not looking.

This was the ball I bought when i first started bowling; I bought it at 14 pounds and it was a great ball for when i first started. I bought it again 2 years later in 16 pounds brand new. All i can say is that i dont remember this ball being this great. I have a 3x3 drill on this ball so its pretty aggressive. Have to keep my speed up or it will hook up too much. Here are the specs: 3x3 drill Pin and CG located about an inch away from the fingertips and center of axis points. 16 pounds<scri

It is a super ball. It revs alot and has a nice sharp backend. I have had this ball for 2 weeks and i bowled over 3 deuces with it and i just turned 14. I use a 15 pound ball. 15 is the ideal weight and it works great for this ball. I love this ball.I have no dislikes about this ball except that it dosent really smell like orange. I have used this ball and i found that if i post this up some 1 will go out and buy 1. it is fine but dont bowl against me. i go out to the 2nd to 1st arrrow with a lot of hook on a synthetic lane. if i were u, i would go out and buy this ball cause it is great.<scri

    There's not much i can say about this ball that i didn't say above other than this ball is great for sport shots that has alot of over-under. In my sport league and this is always my go-to ball other than the x-it. Advanced players can use this ball when nothing else is working or beginners can use this as their first reactive ball. a b a b a b a b a b a b a b a b a b a b a b a b a b a b a b a b a b a b a b a b a b a b

I had two of these balls and one still goes in the tournament bag. The first was a pin in drilled very tame and was great to use when the best place to play was straight up first or second arrow. The second was pin out 3-4 inches drilled with a more aggressive leverage pattern to get length and flip. This ball, for the money, is fantastic. The ability to get this down the lane, hold the pocket, and then explode is awesome. I had the ability to rev up and overpower bad conditions and still post scores, and tear up good conditions with ease. Anyone looking for a good mid market ball, someone who is not looking to spend $250+ to get the upper level equipment, I would recommend the Eraser. The orange smell out of these wasn't bad either.<

I bought this ball to open up the lanes. Let me tell you, this ball did not disappoint me in the least. This ball is so readable. It just makes that nice arc and seems to store energy and charge right at the pins for a devastating effect. This is the best ball for the money that I have ever spent. I can always go to this ball and depend on it when things seem to get a little tight on the lanes. I can play this ball from anywhere and it hits like a freight train. STORM has done it again.<sc

This ball is the best ball I have ever threw. I have been bowling with this ball for a year now and I am sure there are advances now that would blow this ball out of the water but if you are looking for a quality bowling ball for a cheap price this is the one to get. I have been over 700 with it twice and I can't even count the times I have been over 250 with it. I would suggest you get it if you don't have enough money for some of those over priced balls that are out there.

Awesome! Can't say enough good things about it. Got it about 2 years ago, had it resurfaced just once. Still hits very well, doesn't over react. Very controllable, very smooth and still hits like a tank, like most storm balls do. Full leverage drilling for me. Left-hander, with a stroker style. Check out stormbowling.com for info. Is great on most conditions except for very dry and oily. Will keep line througout the night, great for typical house shot. Will hook if you want it to, or go straight if not. Get one if you can and you need a good mid priced bowling ball that doesn't over react.<scr

Nicest ball ever. I'm not lieing. I've had this ball for over a year and it's better than ever and it's the only ball i use and it is mad easy to pick the right side spares. I dunno if its the ball or just that I am a great bowler. If you need a ball good for all time use this is it and it will last a while, because i bowl 3-5 times a week. The ball has a great backend and throw it hard with a big hook to see its true potential.

Well this ball HAS NO ORANGE SCENT. Don't know what that guy was sniffing, but the ball is a great league condition ball People will find its smooth, even arc reaction a nice change from the skid/snap balls that most are purchasing. This is a ball you can use the entire night, when the lanes start to dry out just move a couple boards left. When people start to realize that having these huge particle load balls on medium to light oil conditions they may get one game out of them, and then put the balls away Get a good ball, score well and have fun. This ball will definately do it for you.....<s

For a ball under $100, that claims to be made for light oil, this ball plays like nothing else. I have thrown it numerous times on heavier oil shots and still had tremendous backend. The pins stay low and fly hard, I truly cannot imagine a more ideal ball. My home alleys are both synthetic and yet I still have a mean shot at every wood lane ive ever thrown on. I can stand nearly anywhere on the approach and just guess at a mark to throw and nearly always come out clean because this ball is just so predictable. Ive shot probably 150 or more games so far with this ball and all i do is use a cleaner on it everyday. It stil maintains most of its shine and has a backend stronger than any other ball ive see thrown in our house.

This is my favorite ball of all time bar none. With this ball I shot my first 300 and followed it up 2 weeks later with my first 800. No ball that i've owned has reacted so consistantly night after night and week after week. This ball is the main reason that I love Storm so much, and for the price a better bargain cannot be found. On those nights when i'm having trouble I know I can pull out my Eraser and straighten out my troubles. This ball is a TEN no matter what way you look at it.

This is my favorite ball by all means. It hits hard and when leaves virtually nothing standing. I am happy to say that I have had very few nine counts with this ball (most strikes, or eight). Corner pins beware! This is really a good ball . . . worth twice the $86! I have also played this ball farther left and hooked it up a notch and it responded nicely. Really, from the first throw, this ball won me over. I think that a stroker like myself would find this ball to be excellent . . . I have more confidence with this than with any other ball I have had. I have been Erased!
