With my experience using all of the domestic erasers, except this one of course, I was expecting the Eraser Pearl Particle to get down the lanes like the original Eraser but create friction and create backend like the Eraser Blaze. That it did but I expected the ball to have more of a snap to its reaction rather than the strong arc I saw from it. Out of all of the erasers, this one was the most predictable. It can get through the dry fronts while at the same time creating friction quickly having a fairly smooth reaction to it. The only reason Storm made this ball is that it was a replacement to the Eraser Blaze the only difference being that the Pearl Particle is not as violent on the backends. When comparing to pearl particles out on the market today, the Eraser is most similar to the Depth Charge. The only difference is that the Eraser does not react as early on the lanes. I recommend this ball to be used on conditions when your Erase-It or any other benchmark ball, is starting

good ball for lanes that are dry on the backend, will hit very hard if it hits that dry. any amount of oil on the back part of the lane and it will not finish, but if you bowl where they strip the backend you will love this ball on that shot. has worked great for me on the outside line cause it does not flip hard, will give you a very even reaction. on dry lanes the ball does not get as much length as you may need, but if you take a little hand off your release it will give you the length.<scr

This is a follow up review to the last one that I have written about the Eraser Particle. Tonight me and a buddy went to the bowling alley and I pulled this ball out and the first game was a 220. my buddy comented that if I shot better that a 250 in the next game he would give me 20 bucks. The first ball I threw in the next game went right through the head. The nex 11 balls were strikes. Shot a 279 and went home with 20 bucks in my pocket! Gives you a good read of the lanes on the first ball GREAT BALL FROM STORM !!!!!!!!!!!

Just picked this one up for 40 bucks and what a buy. The first ball I threw got down the lane so nice and shot right back to the pocket with a dead flush hit. If anybody wants a ball that will get down the lane farther with great backend reaction, this is the ball for you. Started off the day using the V2 particle and I thought I was throwing it pretty good, then I swiched to this ball and WOW!!! GREAT BALL Put this ball away when the lanes dry up. When you get it too far off to the right you will leave stone 10's

This is my first Storm bowling ball and it wont be my last. Its still new and i understand that i and also getting a new ball hit right now, but WOW.....I had this ball drilled to go longer than normal and snap harder on the back end. and it match up perfectly with my game. Im a righthander who likes to swing the ball at between 15 and 16 mph and i can play anywhere from the 3rd arrow to the 5th arrow with this ball and carry very well. Ive historically been a user of columbia and morich balls, but i will definitely be paying storm products much more attention.

Good ball for specially stokers, be cause this ball likes to be play straight. Good ball for 22-24 miles/ph bowlspeed, Finally, this particle bal has a nice skid-snap reaction and this makes good pin-carry. The coverstock is the same as the Storm El-Nino2000, only the weightblock is different. The El-Nino 2000 is more aggresive in the pocket than this ball. Medium to light rev players could become problems with this ball on heavy oil volume, the ball should skids to long. Hig revs bowlers don't get this problem. This ball need a clean lane backend. Oil transfer is no good for this ball.

Had this ball drilled out 4 x 4 no balance hole needed and it does get down the lane well and make a nice move to the pocket. For a particle it does go pretty far down before it turns and makes a great move to the pocket. As for recs I would add this to an arsenal that needs more slide before it gets to the turn. Altough if it gets to dry it has to go back to the bag. All in all fair ball and one to look at when purchasing a new ball Good luck bowling.

16 pounds Top Weight: 2.82 oz Pin out: 2.5-3 inches Ebonite Quick Sand I was pretty surprised when I drilled this one up. I drilled my Eraser Particle Pearl 5" control. This put my pin underneath my ring finger and the cg kicked out towards my pap. I had to take a small hole out to take it down to a 1/2 positive. I rolled a few games on a tracked out house shot, the ball rolled very true but I saw that it was getting alittle bit too much length than I was looking for. I took it down with Ebonite Quick Sand, and wow did I find a keeper in my bag. With the quick sand surface, I am able to feed the ball right enough but yet have the tires on the backend to get back to the pocket. I took it out on some sport conditions and this was the ball to use. I was able to make miss room for myself, when everyone else was getting crossed up trying to get to the pocket. The ball opened up about 3-4 boards at the breakpoint for me to play with when everyone else had about 1-2. But lik

This ball is Excellent, just bought it along with an X-FACTOR Deuce. This ball revs up immediately and has excellent mid-lane recovery. Haven't seen a ball like this in awhile, it has good back end and destoys the pins on anything but high flush pocket hits. Storm has done an excellent job again! Kudo's to MIke Miller(PBA Member) for recommending this ball to me and for the excellent job in drilling and custom fitting my thumb(I have issues with thumb slugs and oval thumb inserts) and he was able to custom mill my thumb hole for me.<scr

I was looking to drill something to go long, the ball bas recomended by my pro shop, it goes realy long and straight no arc it kinda holds back and then releases al it energy in the back end it goes into a hard constant roll and blows the pins away, it hits and keeps going I LOVEIT!!!!!! its best feature is that when you miss right it makes a stronger move to the pocket,, and sets up a when you miss right, shot 630 the first night but i missed a ton of spares should of shot 700 if a made a spare,, to me ist your best bang for the Buck out there TRY IT!!!

Ball Specs: 3" pin 3.38 Top Weight Layout: 5.25 x 5.25 I am a Storm user and this is in my top 5 list after 4 days of use. My buddy punched it up for me to take to Florida and I was surprised. I was not a fan of the Eraser, probably one of the few haters of that ball. The EPP let me see the midlane so well that I am making it my new benchmark ball. I never had to fight it through the fronts or worry about it recovering on the backs. So many people were asking what ball I was throwing and could not believe what I was getting out of the layout. This is a great piece for both tournament players and league bowlers.

I just got this ball drilled up last week from a local proshop that recieved 2 as promotionals. It's not even available on the market yet. I used it first on a fresh classic league shot and it's perfomance blew me away. I got this ball to replace my Columbia300 Wicked, which died-out on me, and I am very happy with it so far. This ball can recover from just about anywhere in a 10" by 10" breakpoint box to just slam into the pocket and crush the pins. I contemplated buying the new Wicked, since the reviews on it in the latest version of bowling this month described the same type of ball reaction from a large breakpoint box into the pocket. I had a fellow friend try this new Eraser also...and he loved it. He's going out to the same proshop to purcahse their second, and last, promo ball. We both have X-Factors and used them also the same night. We both agreed that the new Eraser Particle Pearl has a stronger backed snap and it also out-performed the X-Factor on this shot hands
