i really like this ball on the burn, when typical pearl bowling balls are way to sharp off the spot, this solid cover helps blend the pattern and makes it much smoother off the spot."

Drilling pattern: 3.75 x 70. Pin position: Below ring finger. PAP: 4.5 over by 1 up. So my initial thought for this ball to be an immediate step down from my Ordnance C4 with a very similar drilling. When the C4 cover became a little too early this would be next in line. For the most part, I've gotten that. The shiny cover on this ball can be a little squirty through the mid lane without proper speed control so I'm likely going to take a 2000 pad and knock off the shine (left it at box finish initially). The downlane reaction though is as advertised. The lower RG/diff combination does give a nice rolling motion and the ball typically doesn't overreact when thrown by higher rev players. Pretty solid low end benchmark piece but will likely stay in the bag whenever there is higher oil volume. Brent Ritchie 900 Global/Storm/Roto Grip Staff

The Electrify Solid features a higher RG, lower differential and a solid cover to provide plenty of control on those lighter oil conditions or higher friction surfaces. This ball could be used on a variety of conditions from house to shorter sport patterns. I was able to keep my angles in front of me and the Electrify Solid blended out the pattern very well without overreacting in the backend.

Storm Electrify Solid Layout: 4.5 Pin to PAP and 2" pin buffer Rev Rate: 325 rpm Testing information: 41 foot THS (medium to light volume) Bowling Center: Fulton Bowling Center Kegel Machine – Brunswick Anvilane The Storm Electrify Solid tested very similar to the Roto Grip Hustle Camo. The Electrify Solid utilizes the Circuit Core and the Reactor solid reactive cover. I could not tell much difference, maybe a little sooner breakpoint than the Hustle Camo if anything. The Storm Electrify Pearl was a favorite of mine as well. The Storm Electrify Solid is a good value ball and could be considered for a lower end bench mark ball. Something about a red ball that draws you in. The frosted cake scent is a bonus. #Stormnation

Storm Electrify Solid review by Mike Craig
I drilled my ELECTRIFY SOLID at 4.5 x 30. I have a BURNER SOLID at 4 x 25 so I wanted something to step down with that still had a good shape to it. The ELECTRIFY SOLID is a great addition to the Storm Hot line. Good push and really nice shape down lane. Compared to the BURNER, the ELECTRIFY SOLID was a great compliment especially when I took the BURNER down to 3000 so they had separation. I balled up to a RST-X2 to see how much more this piece was compare to both. They both played off the RST-X2 pretty well as ball down choices. The BURNER shape was more continuous and the ELECTRIFY was more angular.

Electrify Solid Cover: REAC TOR 1500 Polished Core: Circuit Core RG: 2.51 Dif. 0.031 I have been really looking forward to the New Electrify solid. I been looking for a ball I can ball down to on the burn or when the conditions are dryer. I drilled the ball with my normal layout 4x4x2 (45x4x30 with dual angles). I didn't want a shiny solid, so I hit it will 3000. I have been really impressed with his ball. I called in my baby Phaze 2. The Electrify solid has the motion I like. It is smooth with a strong backend motion. It has the rounded shape that I like. I am more of a stroker style of player, and this ball will allow me to move or stay in the same position when I feel I am getting too deep, I can switch and play the same line. The Electrify Solid gets through the fronts well and doesn't jump or seem to overreact on the backend. This will be a great addition to any arsenal for those looking for a ball to play on the burn or dryer conditions and will make a great ball for those just getting started in the sport. This is a great performance ball for the price point.

Layout: 3-1/2" x 45 at box surface The Electrify series is back this time with the Reactor Solid coverstock finished at 1500 polished. The polish on this solid cover gives it more skid/flip qualities then you would technically see in a solid coverstock that's traditionally dull. I drilled this ball with a 3-1/2" pin from my axis to handle my typical house shot on the fresh. I tend to be more speed dominant with my release so I tend to look for balls to slow down enough in its skid phase. When I first used this ball, I was amazed with the backend shape it gave me. It was certainly unexpected as it was much more angular than anticipated. Not only was I able to use this on the fresh, but the ball never stopped continuing as I bowled in game 2 and 3. It was pretty refreshing to see a middle performance ball continue that well for so long. Taking the polish off the coverstock for a 2000 surface helped me make the ball a little more controllable and have smoother backend motion as I originally expected the ball to do. This ball brings a lot of performance for its price point and really shows off going down the lane. Comparative to the Electrify Hybrid, the Solid actually gave me more angle in the backend and was usable for a longer period of time. I would tend to use the solid on medium volume oil house patterns or medium to shorter sport patterns. Adam Chase Storm Staff

The red ball is here and it is good! The Electrify Solid closes out this lower end Storm line of bowling balls. By low end I mean less overall hook than the high performance balls, but this one still finishes great on the back end. I compared the Electrify Solid to the Hustle Camo - one of my favorite balls out right now - and it gave me more overall hook and a little extra hook down lane. I've gotten to practice with the Electrify Solid for a few days now, and it worked great for me on both the fresh house shot and one that had games on it. If you love the Hustle series or the Burners, this ball will give you a great compliment to help you keep striking! Storm Product's new ball in the Electrify Series is the brand new Electrify Solid! This ball features the Reactor Solid Reactive Coverstock with some polish added wrapped around that Circuit Core seen in the Electrify Series! My Electrify Solid is drilled pin over my Bridge with the CG kicked! What I really love about this ball so far is it allows me to play straighter angles on the fresh lane conditions without it reading the lane super early! When you need to control the lane people tend to throw urethane or very strong balls this electrify solid will give you that smooth motion down lane but that polish will allow it to get through the front part of the lane! This ball should be in everyone's bag who bowls tournaments for the Fresh Lane conditions! Head over to your local Pro Shop on 10/29/21 and get yours!
