The Storm Electrify G/O is a bang for your buck. It has the Reactor Pearl Cover with a compliment of the Circuit Core, this one is really good. For a weak ball, I didn't know if I'd like it but this ones a beauty. Very clean with a lot pop downlane. Definitely a ball every league bowler needs! The Storm Phaze 5 is definitely a necessity! It has the well know R2S Pearl Cover with the Velocity Core, it is a great compliment to the Phaze 2 and Zen. Compared to the Phaze 4, I think the Phaze 5 is a little cleaner with more downlane motion. It is definitely weaker than the Zen but a great ball down from it. For all you players who have a higher rev and have problems controlling your ball reaction, this is the one for you! The new Electrify ball in the Storm Hot line is the Electrify GO. I have drilled the electrify solid and the pearl. For me those were a little conditional and the pearl was better but gave me a little over under even on the dry. So I drilled my Electrify GO 4 1/2 x 2 x 1. With this pearl and the colors being bright and Gold and Red for me this one is much better and more predictable. I do believe that colors in the coverstock do matter. The GO definitely hooks more that expected for a low end ball and price point. I have the GO beneath my Storm Fate and Revenant as far as strength, but when the lanes get really beat up in the front or late blocks this is where the GO shines. I think the GO is also a good ball for rev dominant players or slower ball speeds. And Seniors who still want to play the track with slow ball speed. With the proven Circuit Core and the Reactor Pearl Reactive coverstock, the Electrify G-O delivered high-scoring results at a cost-effective price. So, let's take a closer look at how the Electrify G-O performed on a THS! The Circuit Core is a Storm staple core. And the Circuit Core continued its success inside the Electrify G-O. The Circuit core has a smooth continuous motion I like to see on a THS. I enjoyed playing right of the second arrow early on. Because of the Circuit Cores' predictable movement, I maintained that same consistency throughout the night, even as I started moving in. And either playing straight or moving in the Circuit core releases a good amount of energy at the pins without a lot of deflection! The Circuit Core makes the Electrify G-O a versatile ball for many levels and styles of bowlers. The Reactor Pearl Reactive Coverstock on the Electrify G-O was a pleasant surprise. Since I am high speed and a low rev player, Pearl coverstocks are typically not my first choice for a THS on fresh oil. However, I decided to sand the Reactor Pearl cover with a 1500-grit Abralon pad. Then, I watched as the Electrify G-O came alive for me! The Reactor Pearl cover reacts very well to friction. With that bit of surface, I found the Electrify G-O handles a light volume of oil smoothly without a knee-jerk reaction off the pattern. In addition, the Pearl Reactor Cover provided a smooth blended motion as the lane conditions transitioned. And I liked how this cover blended the late-night conditions you struggle with when your THS seems to disappear. In conclusion, the Storm Electrify G-O is a good choice for any THS player. For the beginner, this ball will take you beyond the basics and allow you to grow into the ball's performance without having to "upgrade." And to the seasoned bowler, you will find the Electrify G-O has a place when you need that smooth, dependable look to get you to the pocket! And the best part for any style bowler is the price tag! The Electrify G-O is the right ball at the right price. Therefore, I suggest talking with your local pro shop owner and seeing where the Electrify G-O fits into your arsenal. The Electrify G-O will bring results! Rick Klimowicz Storm Products Pro Shop Staff Roll the Ball Pro Shop Penndel, PA

Storm Electrify G/O pearl Specs: Reactor Pearl coverstock with the Circuit core finished with Reacta Gloss from Storm Layout: 5.5 x 4.5 x 3.5. With my current level of ability, weaker cores and pearlized covers are still my best choices for league bowling matches. The "G/O" was a good addition to my league match bowling ball arsenal. The house I bowl in has lanes in the middle part of the center that read and hook early while the higher end tends to play longer and tighter. So to compare, I used a Roto Grip Hyped Pearl that was 4k fast out of the box, but I change the surface by putting it into the shop's Storm factory machine and using fresh VISE 1000ab and then 2000ab pads, then added Storm Reacta Gloss and polished it for 2 minutes, which got the surface prep closer to the G/O. First thing I noticed that the G/O goes a little shorter before making the transition from skid to the hook stage then the Hyped Pearl, it motion was a little earlier then what I expected playing my typical line and angles I used with the Hyped Pearl and my most loved Hyped Hybrid. G/O had a better overall reaction on fresh conditions, after the conditioners traveled down lane, the ball tended to get a little lazy. The BETTER news is how the ball rolled on another center I bowl with really well "worn" HPL with less oil volume, but longer overall length of pattern. I have struggled there most of the year with either rolling too weak stuff or so strong stuff that the ball will react at the 1-2 pocket - YES... I am a lefty for those that don't know. The G/O held up for me for most of the practices and league matches. I feel the G/O is a better entry level reactive ball then anything else out there on the market. Stronger than Tropical Surge line, but not as angular or snappy as the Hyroads, or Fate or similar stronger symmetrical When clients and other what ball would be best for a once a week bowler and they want reliability , I direct them to the Storm Electrify G/O on the wall.

Storm introducing another great addition to the Electrify Line, the Electrify GO. This high RG and low diff core wrapped around the REACTOR pearl cover stock makes for the perfect option when you need something very weak for dryer lane conditions that still gets around the corner. The difference between this low end ball from the others is that this electrify has a smooth but angular motion throughout the lane. It's hard to explain, so you have to see it for yourself. For house shots, when thi...

The Electrify GO is a surprisingly smooth, arcing, and controllable mid range pearl ball. Unlike some previous pearl balls that have been in this price range over the years, the GO does not go sideways down lane, and due to that is an impressive piece that is quite versatile. The midlane traction that this ball has allows it to be used on more volume than expected, up to a point. It still does not have the strength to cut through fresh heavy oil, but that's what the Super Nova or Phaze II is for. Once those dull balls start to pick up too early is where the GO shines. Medium to medium-dry conditions is where this ball is at home.

I drilled up my ELECTRIFY GO 55 x 4.5 x 30. I lightly hit the surface with 3000 to get the factory gloss off of it. I threw this side by side with some pearl Storm pieces namely the PHAZE V, NIGHT ROAD, and INFINITE PHYSIX. On a more medium pattern like a 40 foot house, the ELECTRIFY GO is in play a lot sometimes to start and thru the entire set. When I got it on longer patterns, it was not in play unless the field blew up the pattern and everyone was forced left of the third arrow. Compared to the PHAZE V, it was no contest. PHAZE V was too early and too strong. Same with INFINITE PHYSIX. Now it was closer to the NIGHT ROAD and was a great compliment length wise. It is a slightly softer motion compared to the NIGHT ROAD and works well when the lane starts to get toasty. Drill this one up if you are rev dominant or slower speed but want more performance than the low end starting level balls.

Storm Electrify GO Reactor Pearl Cover Circuit Core The Storm Electrify GO is the newest addition to the Hot Line. The Electrify GO skids through the heads with ease, but thanks to its low Diff (.030) has a smoother, more controllable reaction for a pearl ball. As most house shots have been moving towards the dry side, control is key. Low Diff, rounded shapes really help. Try to remember...you dont want every ball in your arsenal to be long and strong :) The Electrify GO is a step stronger than the Hustle Wine and a step down the Night Road.

The Electrify G/O is a great option for medium to light oil, especially at box surface. I went with my usual 5 x 80 drill on this one, which gets me excellent length with a controlled breakpoint off of friction. When I threw this ball out of the box, it was a bit quicker off of friction than I wanted to see, so I went over the cover lightly with a 3000 pad to just take off a little bit of the shine. This changed the entire look for me. The .030 differential keeps the ball from hooking too early, even with the surface change. This piece works best when the lanes have opened up a little bit and you've got some friction built up to work with and blend the reaction out. Great ball for 3rd game or late in tournaments!

The all new electrify G/O is the 4th one in the series and is by far the best one in my opinion. This ball gives you the length you need with plenty of pop off the friction. When those lanes start to break down for you later in the block don't be afraid to pull out this electrify because this would be the ball to get through the fronts and store all that energy down lane. If you liked the previous electrify this is the ball for you. Get to your local pro shop, put your favorite layout on this one and you'll be off to the races.

The newest edition in the Hot Line, is well, pretty hot. The Electrify G/O offers the Reactor Pearl coverstock finished in Storm's new Reacta Gloss Polish. I've never been a fan of polished equipment out of the box, but the G/O surprised me with how well it blended off the friction. Compared to the original Electrify Pearl, the G/O seems pick up aRead more about review stating Another House Killer, and Go Vols! little earlier and bite more on the backend. I drilled my Electrify G/O 4.5x4x2.75, and it surprised me of how dynamic it was down lane. To compare it to a ball similar in my current bag, it is fairly close to IQ Emerald in terms of use. It is very helpful when I need to clear the fronts and mids when the lanes break down and I cannot throw my Zen anymore

A go to ball for rev dominate and low speed players that always struggle with hook. Super clean threw the front and while it has plenty of backend it's not the overly sharp backend that allows leads to trouble for these players.

The circuit core is back this time paired with the Reactor Pearl cover in a bright new color that really stands out on the wall. The G-O is the cleanest and I would say weakest of the Electrify balls I have thrown so far. The selling point for this line to me has always been how much they out perform their price-point. The down-side is that if you need a ball that is actually weak enough to properly represent that price-point you can find yourself struggling to control the previous releases. For me the Electrify G-O is cleaner than even the previous pearl released in the Electrify line. It doesn't really have a corresponding change in hook the back-end so the G-0 Will get down-lane further, with less effort and give you a very similar look off the back of the pattern. I first threw the Electrify G-O in league. I decided to throw a couple shots with it in practice just to see what it would do on fresh oil. I didn't like my Electrify Pearl in that spot because our house shot is pretty cliffed and it is pretty common that the shiny balls feel like they come off the dry to hard to play right but are too clean for the fresh oil. The G-O definitely was more predictable out there. It actually let me into a zone I hadn't been able to play due to my lower ball speed. I decided to put it away until the lanes broke down some so I could see if was too lazy to cover boards down lane. I was really impressed with how far left I could play with it too. It really responds well to hand position changes so I could wheel with it once I was really forced left by lane transition. I see the Electrify G-O being a great piece for guys who are very Rev Dominant. As a Pro Shop Operator I could see it being a popular ball with many senior bowlers or anyone who bowls in a house where they struggle to deal with too much friction.

Orientation: Right Handed Rev Rate: 400 RPM Speed: 16-17 MPH PAP: 4 ½ over and ½ up Location: Enterprise Park Lanes, Springfield MO Pattern: High Volume THS VLS Layout: Layout 1: 5 x 4 x 2 ½ (pin above bridge) Layout 2: 4 ½ x 4 x 4 1/8 (pin below bridge) The Electrify GO is a new HOT line pearl from Storm. For an "entry level" ball the Electrify GO hooks way more than I expected. The Electrifys always generate a little more midlane that I'm expecting and the "E.G.O" is no exception. The Cover pushes the ball easy through the fronts while the low RG Low Diff core keeps the ball from missing the mids too much. I love to use the E.G.O. on the fresh to stay straight or on dry lanes.

Rotation 50. Speed at release 17 Review: The new Electrify G/O has been a nice surprise for me. I did find much use for the Electrify Red Solid and was expecting about the same from this new G/O but I got more than I hoped for. The Electrify G/O has control but seems to read the mid lanes better than the Red Solid and this G/O has a better pop on the back for me which translates to better carry. While I felt the solid was very good for the high rev or slow speed players the Electrify G/O should fit those styles and have a wider umbrella of bowler styles to use it. I have been using this ball a lot in the third game or starting with it at the dry house where we shot the video. This ball rolls well, is predictable and carries better than expected. The G/O is also sold at a very affordable price point. This ball is definitely stronger than the Surge line and under the Fate in total hook. The sales on this ball have been good and my bowlers like the motion they are getting. I already am very comfortable with this new ball. Summary: The Electrify G/O is an excellent mid to dry lane ball. The color and scent of the ball are very nice. The Electrify G/O is a step up from the Red Solid in my opinion. If you are looking for length and backend this Electrify will have you yelling LET'S GOOO! Reactor Pearl cover and the higher rg Circuit core, the GO is the type of shape that Storm Bowling balls are known for. The balls I think this compares best to are the Hy-road pearl and the Night Road. The Electrify GO is cleaner and sharper than both. So when you need to get in and wheel it to the dry this ball is the way to GO.

Ball Specs: Storm Electrify G-O Reacta Gloss Reactor™ Pearl Reactive Weight Block: Circuit™ Core (Symmetrical) Color: Gold/Orange Review: Our shop sells a ton of SPI bowling balls in this price range for the casual bowlers who want a step up from a Tropical Surge but aren't quite ready for a strong symmetrical or asymmetrical piece. Overall it is a great value as these bowling balls tend to be very versatile for their ability to work well with players of all rev rates and speeds. For the rev dominant players, this ball will not overpower the fronts and will read very clean throughout the lane. For the medium rev players this ball will be a great first out of bag and don't be afraid to knock the polish off if you want a little bit different reaction down lane. For the tournament players this range is necessary in low volume sets or long tournament blocks where you need the ball to get cleaner through the front parts of the lanes without jumping too early. The Electrify G-O is the return of a pearl Electrify! This ball is great for when they lanes are flying and you need that low-end ball that still gets into a roll and carries the corners. This is the first Electrify to feature the brand new Reacta Gloss finish, and it's sure to be a great option for your hooking house shot or late in the day at a tournament when the lanes are toast.

The all new Gold Ball from Storm, the Electrify G/O is going to be a sleeper ball. For a weaker ball this ball can hook with the best of them. I am extremely impressed with the versatility that this ball has shown me so far. I am able to play gutter to gutter with this ball. I am extremely impressed with the mid lane control that this ball offers from such a weak core. This ball will be an excellent choice for bowlers that are looking for a ton of hook with a lower price point. Go out and get yours today!

The new Electrify GO brings back the same core and coverstock found on the original Electrify pearl but is finished with the new Reacta Gloss polish. The Gold/Orange colors really brings great shelf appeal for pro shops but also looks great going down the lane. The circuit core was designed for medium to drier lane conditions and does just that. It is not the strongest pearl in the bag but definitely great for leagues in centers where there is a lot more friction or if your ball speed is low. It is also a great step-down ball from current balls such as the phaze 5 or night road depending on your style. The Reacta Gloss finish gives a more rounded, more continuation finish then we saw in the original pearl. Compared to the Electrify Solid, you will see a few more feet of length and a faster down lane response. If you use an Electrify Solid as your go to league ball, you will want to have the Electrify GO in your bag as well. Adam Chase Storm Staff
