Since I had a chance to get this ball for less than half the new cost and the ball was in nice condition I decided to take a chance on this ball. I have always liked the Lane#1 products but the prices made me wince. This ball though is a killer. I just love the smooth way it goes down the lane. Playing mostly between 3 and 2nd arrow on medium league shot. The main characteristic of the ball is its smoothness and it ability to carry well on most shots. I have a feeling this is going to become my main ball. Well worth having in you collection. H

I have drilled myself several of these over the years and all i can say is it is the very best spare ball ever made. One of the things i especially like about this ball is the fact that you do not need to change your release to make it go straight. you can still turn it if you want and it will just go where you point it. I also like the fact that this ball does not seem to track out very fast and start to hook like a blue dot will. Of the various versions of this ball i prefer the original but all are good

I missed a ten in a semi-final tournament, throwing only a Storm Hot Rod. 2 days later, I bought the Spare. The following week my scores were increased with a little help of the Spare,...winning the Ohio Valley Match Play Tournament on a Thursday. Payed $28... Won $100 Now, the kicker. I carried the Spare with me to League on Monday. Lanes 1 and 2 (always comparitively different oil). I threw the Hot Rod on Lane 2 and the Spare on Lane 1 (the drier). Throwing the identically same shot on both. The SPARE reacted the same on Lane 1 as Hot Rod on 2 and carried a five-bagger by itself. Pins carried just like the resin although it wasn't drilled to react. It's good to know ALL of you equipment's possiblities. I was laughed at by teamates and the opposing team for proposing this approach. End result........... High Game: ME<s

This ball it s only for spare ball and that spare ball is great. This coverstock is polyester plastic just like the other spare ball. This ball goes right to the pin and than the rare spare than i never did my baseball ball. For now on i have two spare ball the baseball spare will stay my home bowling center and my spare storm is for other bowling place for practic and for the tournement. This ball has a nice color black and green sparkling dots. One Sggestion this ball is good for beginner or for someone won to use for the spare for the pin number 10 or for left hands the pi number 7. Buy this ball because this ball is great.

I got this ball from a friend, on the assumption that I would finally get a non-hooking spare ball. I must be cursed, or something. Origionally I bought my Target Zone so i would be able to shoot at spares straght. Now with the Spare Storm i still don't have that ball. For example, shooting the 10 pin, i will throw cross lane at it and it will hook unless i throw 18 mph+. The only bright spot about this ball is that it does hit the pocket well on dry lanes. Now I will continue my search for the non hooking spare ball. . . . . . . .

Best ball to practice on accuracy, standing on the 13th board and throw it on the 2nd board. Because of this ball, I've improved my game... if you guys wanna be good and more accurate, try that .. Once you can hit the 2nd board everytime, then u''ll be much more confident on the strike shot too. This practice will for sure help you learn to focus on the certain spot. practice this until you can pretty much hit the 2nd board, then you will see the result... as u throw the strike shots. With this ball, I also start on the 20th board and throw it on the 2nd board... the ball will have a little bit of the backend and give me the perfect strike ... So strong, you won't believe what I can do with this ball ..

This ball helped me out alot. I had alot of trouble picking up spares with my hook ball then again i've only been bowling for a year and it's still kind of hard for me to judge the way my ball moves on different lane conditions. This ball improved my game tremdously. Throw the ball like you would normally throw a straight ball and it goes straight. It doesn't move at all. If it moves it's beacuse your throwing it wrong. I like the way it looks to. Looks like a very expensive ball but it isn't.<s

I have never thrown a ball I cannot hook. I've hooked blue dots. I've hooked white dots. I've hooked black beauties. I cannot hook this ball. What a great spare ball. The cost of this ball was made up by the pot I won by 4 pins by making a ten pin. My other spare ball would have hooked away and missed. I did have to get used to skidding it into the ten pin instead of hooking it into the ten, but now I've practised the skid, I have a shot at the ten the size of the ball and the size of the pin. This ball likes 6 pins too. I bought this ball after the most excellent reviews before mine. Thanks guys.

I love this thing. I bought it used with about 10 games on it and it is the most wonderful ball to complement my arsenal of balls. I needed something to take out the ten(which I very rarely leave). This ball has helped me improve my scores and accuracy by making me throw on the same spot in order to make a ten pin. This ball wont hook, so dont try it!! It is perfect for what it is made for except it doesnt look so good going down like that smiley face ball from Ebonite!! But hey, looks arent everything when it comes to bowling. All that matters it the 300 beside my name!!

Wen I got this ball I thought that this ball would hook a little for me because every ball I throw I always have a problem with it hooking to much to get the 10 pin because I am a cranker of course. This ball will not hook a board I was very saprised whenIi first threw that ball. The only thing that I dont like about the ball is that it has too much glitter in it but I guess that some people might like it. If you have trouble getting them annoying corner pins I think you should get this ball.<scr
