First off, this is not a bad ball - just doesn't match up with my style. It doesn't pack enough punch to play deep and rolls up early the first sign of dry. Those with slower ball speeds or "rotationally challenged" should enjoy this ball in the matte/out of box finish but any kind of hand will have it checking up early. shine it up and any kind of oil will leave you scratching you head. I know I'll tick people off but I'm not a big fan of Storm and this ball doesn't change that. I try to throw different manufacturers now and then but every Storm I've had seems to leave the corners! This ball does carry better than the others I've tried ( xfactor, trauma, eraser) and sends pins flying on high flush shots but has left 5 pin on flush hits. (don't ask how cause I have no answer for that) The more hand you take out of the shot, the better carry you'll get but the ends still pop up!<sc

Consistent read. This ball gets through the heads with ease. Great midlane move. Excellent flip. Pin carry is awesome! Can use on a variety of lane conditions. This ball gives you a good read on the lanes...first ball out of the bag every time! This ball is forgiving. It is responsive to changes in release and changes in hand positions while maintaining hitting power. Super price! Like all resin balls, this ball needs a dry board! Leaving out in the oil too long will get you a 10 pin! Also, I have left a lot of smash 7s with this ball. You still need to make good shots, but this ball would definitely help the average bowler improve. I get great feedback from this ball.<sc

I have used this ball on a variety of conditions. It seems to hold well, and is controlable enough to make a tough shot playable. Not my first ball out of the bag, but it does well as the lanes get crossed up from heavy crankers and high revers. Holds the line when other balls seem to skid on the back end, and does finish well. Have used the ball in late sets of our travel league (5 man team 3 sets) as the lanes dry up and get spotty burn out areas, in the mid lane on a tight line, as well as a deep inside shot.

I was fortunate enough to have been given one of these by a multi medalist at this years world championships in malaysia, and had it drilled to try and cope with the conditions there. I drilled the hot wire with a short pin, which is unusual for me, with it working out at just under 3", slightly below the fingers level, and about a 110 degree mass bias position. I wanted the ball to not overreact on the backend, and have decent length, but be smooth in the midlane. I found this drilling worked quite well for this, however the ball still makes a major move on the back end on most lanes! The hotwire is now one of my go to balls when i feel a bit lost on the lanes, and i can usually open up some sort of shot with it, and get better than average carry on off hits with it. I have pulled out many a 3rd game 250 in league to rescue a 600 series when the lanes have been brutal! I have only drilled one more of these for a customer, and he has been delighted with it! i think he sho

I decided to get this ball because of storm's website. I went their and did the "Macth Maker", which tells you what ball is best suited to your style based on various inputs. So I order the ball up on the web, got the ball and took it down to Earl Anthoy's Dublin Bowl. I had Randy drill it up for me, what a great guy!!! He spent a lot of time with me and we decided to drill the ball up to travel father before breaking in to the pocket. The ball is drilled with the pin just over my ring finger. So I went bowling that night and bowled my first 200. WOW!!! Now we are getting somewhere. I love the way this ball rolls so smooth through the heads and right into the pocket. When this ball hits the pocket, "LOOK OUT" pins are everywhere. This ball tracks very well too, I usually play the right dot arrow but with this ball i find my self playing the left second dot. When this ball goes out it comes back hard and fast. The color is bright and wild and looks great going down the lane. Too bad no

Another great value-priced ball from Storm. This ball dosen't cover the amount of boards that my Hot Rod does, but it has a longer, sharper breakpoint. The only downfall is letting some corner pins with the strong breakpoint. This ball also is very release sensative to me. If you want the strong reaction, you have to be sure to keep a consistent, strong release. I had this ball drilled for maximum back end reaction and it did require an axis hole, but not a very big one. Overall, I am happy with the ball and it does add another element to my arsenal.

I drilled this ball up similiar to my Hot Rod that way the coverstock would be the biggest difference in this ball compared to my HR. Well this ball HOOKS like crazy and never stops hitting. Every time I hit the pocket I was throwing pins all over the place. The only problem was I was throwing this ball on dryer lanes and the pocket was hard to control with the amount of backend this ball had. I used it on a different shot and this ball was spectacular. Storm once again has made a ball that is worth 200 plus dollars but you only have to pay a bit over 100. BUY IT....that is all i have to say
